Larry King was honestly the one of the best interviewers. He was always willing to set his own beliefs aside when listening to his guests, but also question them in a very free-form manner with his own beliefs spiced in.
The deadpan made me think of this Entertainment Tonight (?) Video where Trixie and Katya interview each other, but they edit out all the laughter and added in weird camera angles and stuff to make it oh-so delightfully mental.
i loved the respect Larry showed Trixie, he didnt treat the interview as a joke and didnt treat Trixie like a sideshow freak. Larry showed Trixie respect and compassion and it showed what kinda man Larry was

I honestly didn't get that impression from Larry's interview with her. Possibly the one thing that stood out was when he asked Trixie if she had ever considered being transgender. He asked it matter of factly and Trixie answered it matter of factly and they moved on I found it refreshingly honest. Trixie clearly felt extremely comfortable the entire time.

This is clearly from a few years ago, based on what they mentioned as her accomplishments / the makeup itself but this was a Great interview & I'm glad it randomly popped up as a recommendation. I absolutely love this. Larry has a straight forward interview style (and also probably a time limit) he's very calm and gets right to the point. Trixie is such a loud, colorful, humorous and confident person that loves to share stories and add comedic twists to everything. Such a contrasting pair yet I feel like both felt comfortable and lively in this interview. Everyone was respectful, funny, and interesting. And it wasn't like a Hollywood style interview it was very old fashioned and almost like an editorial but podcast style. Loved this!
This is the most lovely interview I think I've ever been privileged to witness. So respectful of eachother, so sweet, so much kindness between them and then when Larry called Trixie Honey at the end I nearly cried. That there was a good, kind-hearted man with an open mind who was always willing to learn.

Honestly I think this was super even-keeled and professional which I’m not used to with Trixie so it gave me the wrong vibes at first but it ended up being really warm, respectful, funny and enjoyable.

This is an older interview, so her beat has evolved since then. But yeah, she's still pretty wild with the eyes. I swear the more you stare at Trixie, the more normal it gets lol.
it's been one of the phases of her makeup a while ago, "eyeliner" is much smaller now. Her make up kinda has the same basic components but their size and angles change every once in a while.
