it breaks my heart to know katya was struggling so heavily during this. it’s evident in her slurred speech and occasional word salad. but it’s reassuring to know that today she’s thriving and at her best. i do hope she’s able to maintain positivity.

Lorde is Our True Lord so basically at the end of 2017 she started using again and had a lot of psychotic episodes while filming the trixie and katya show, and they’re friendship was in a rlly bad place. so she chose to go to rehab to work on her health and thankfully now she’s much better and their friendship is still amazing :)
one thing I'm mad about is that it didn't end at episode 69

@@FlandreCanturini Katya shortly after this episode left for rehab for a good bit because she relapsed and was not doing very well mentally. Her and Trixie's friendship has been a rollercoaster but they came out even closer than before 🙂 more about it in Trixie's documovie Moving Parts

@@victoriaspooks1383 basically around/after this time period, Katya struggles a lot with psychosis during the filming of the Trixie and Katya show and has to leave abruptly due to rehab. In Trixie's documentary Moving Parts, we get to see firsthand how much Katya is hurting and struggling and lashing out because of it. It's really hard to watch, but it's comforting to know she perseveres and is clean and sober now.

But i still don't understand why Katya a while after leaving, texted Trixie and said those things...
@@sinafazel2050 it’s like they said, she was struggling with psychosis, which can cause a person to disconnect from reality and feel a lot of paranoia, anxiety, anger or agitation, and they may experience delusions or hallucinations depending on how bad it is, amongst other things. Katya has said she was really struggling with feeling like she didn’t know who she could trust because of it, so she ended up lashing out. I mean that plus she might have been going through withdrawals which are terrible enough to deal with on their own and can also push people to actions they’re not entirely in control of or proud of.
It really spoke a lot to the patience and capacity for love that Trixie has that she was able to stay through all that. But eventually katya apologized and they were able to work through it and put it past them!
The editors were roasting them the entire episode and I’m living for it

what i love about the show apart from the obvious (ie it still contains our favorite cross-dressing ambitious biological women) is that they took ron and chris with them. like, that is very, very cool.
Watching this after Moving Parts came out and seeing how excited they were before filming the Trixie and Katya Show it's just heart-breaking. I am glad UNHhhhh didn't end here and I am extremely happy this amazing duo has lifted themselves up from the ground, we love you

this show 100% changed my life, I was so depressed these past 2 years and this show would be the reason I would finally be able to laugh outloud. This show really has been something special to me. There's been a lot of darkness in the world in the last couple years, and these women of grace and dignity always make me laugh. This show makes it feel like it's okay to be a total fucking weirdo and to be proud of it. They're such relatable and lovable performers and they deserve every single bit of recognition they get!!

I wasn't sure if it was just me but there are a few moments in this episode and a couple before this one where I noticed certain "out of place" behaviours and the last actual episodes and other shows have clearly shown the difference. Always happy for them 👏

I can hardly watch this seeing how sick katya was. i’m so happy she got better, if you compare this to the next episode after the hiatus she looks SO much better it’s literally night and day.
It's worth remembering that Katya said in multiple places that working with Trixie on stuff like this was a highlight in the dark time, and their friendship has helped both of them get through some rough stuff. Jokes about commoditized friendship aside they legitimately care about and support each other.

Am I sad to see this show go? Yes. But I am SO happy for my favorite biological women on scoring their own tv show. They truly deserve if. And to everyone complaining about how it's not going to be the same, you're right, it won't be exactly the same, it will be better! Everything must evolve eventually and I am excited to watch their show grow! Look, the sad truth is that UA-cam sucks now. It's gone to shit. They can't even cuss on here without getting their video flagged. UA-cam demonetizes everything that isn't family friendly. Anyway, it got me a bit emotional when I saw this in my notifications but then I remembered that this is such a huge step forward for them and I can't wait to follow them on this journey!

the thing is that youtube is for everyone everywhere, and it doesnt matter if you live in the us or in madagascar or whatever. so when you go to the tv, you basically say that every fan who helped building this show as much as the american fans are less important and worthy. that sucks. and i, as a not-american fan, feel really upset with all of this.

I'm glad it didn't *really* end, because it's one of the few things I still laugh at when rewatching.
