I really liked this amp and would have another one some day (sold this a while ago). I don’t know about maintenance I’m afraid

Damn nice Amp. Im using an old version of the VOX VT40+ which also has a tube inside (using it since 10 years or something and love it since day one) love these VOX-sounds. bright, very dynamic british rock tones 🤟🏻 seems like this amp brings all the character in a small, compact format. For ultra high gain stuff there are better options in my opinion. But from jazzy cleans to overdriven british hardrock this is the amp to go.
Why did you sell your Fender Mustang? To little character?
    Enjoy your new beauties!🤟🏻

      Hi Lukas
Totally agree on all fronts. Really responsive amp with magical rich tones.
I sold the Mustang. Great amp too but it’s all presets really and I prefer old style knobs and buttons to change as I fancy 👍🏻

you need to play with the volume, that'll shows how the valves react. keep the power volume low!

Still tinkering, not had it long but it’s really responsive even to how hard you strum the strings

Beautiful amp Rich ! What a little gem eh. Can you really notice the difference between the valve’s and a solid state amp ?

      Thank you Ben.
To my ears is much better. It’s really responsive to changes in settings, how hard you hit the strings and so on. Sounds much more powerful than 15 watts too

@@thenovicenoisemaker I’m guessing it’s more inspiring and makes it easier to pick up the guitar and get to work. I need that inspiration.

@@benallmark9671 very much so. Great sounding and simple layout is perfect for me. The Mustang LT25 was very good too but all presets and savings patches really and it’s evident that’s not what I like.

I ended up getting a dynamic wah pedal from Boss that just takes every note into wah land. It’s alright , beggars can’t be choosers.
