Hey man thank you soo much for still making these videos..I used to be into the hobby and later it slowly faded away and now because of U I'm back in track and I'm think about getting into drifting
I'm not into drifting RCs but I could listen to Afro talking all day long about them. He's dripping of knowledge and his passion for his craft is undeniable. Add to that his calm voice and his ability to explain the why and how things are setup one way or another make it such a joy to watch. Thanks Aaron for sharing this series and Big thanks to Afro for sharing his passion. 👍
A symphony of driving... Feeling the moves of another machine before it happens, having a connection with friends and fam... And with r/c takes the danger out. Beauty of drift here
Afro seams to be an awesome person can really appreciate the experience and willingness to share his knowledge what a great experience this was for you Aaron so glad you have shared this with us all
What a GREAT show. Afro is a MASTER of his craft and a great example of willingness to share his knowledge. Soooo refreshing to some one like me who has NO concept of drifting!
Fist time I've ever watched Afro, i really dig his demeanor and wisdom..and now I'm totally interested in the drift thing. All thanks to you and the RC Sparks channel, thanx.
I will be supporting Afro RC by purchasing my first drift rc made by Afro. I am also a faraway fan and wish to support someone that is so passionate about RCs. I am from Arkansas in USA.🙏🏻❤🇺🇲
This Afro guy seems very knowledgeable, fun, and down to earth. If I were in Canada and had some money, I would probably get a drift car with a muscle car body and rip it around his track.
What a great opportunity to learn from someone so experienced! Thank you for sharing. I love soaking up knowledge from someone more knowledgeable than I. If you know any other “experts” of any RC field; crawling, drag, off road racing, on road racing, I would love more series like these. Absolutely appreciate this, thank you! Also, wonderful to see you feeling better! Thanks for all the years of work. It is appreciated.
I’ve literally brought my first little HPI drifter after being away from the hobby for years. Just these couple of videos have brought me Upto date with the latest and greatest 👌
That's awesome I still run a tt-01 with 9.5 sidewinder underflow light kit there's lots of upgrades to the fossil chassis but that yokomo is awesome I actually always run the original yokomo drift ring wheels great fun and thank you for the vid of another section of the hobby afro is a seriously chill cool dude
What an amazing looking drift rc car. The information that you have provided from AFRO is some of the best that I have seen on setting up a car. Great time watching this build now I am wanting to get a beginner car for drifting.
I've been becoming increasingly interested in a Drift RC car as my RC addiction I mean ENTHUSIASM grows, now I know who I want to help me put a nice car kit together that I can build with my son! Awesome to see real life experience brought to the scale world.
what a super chill guy loved the series. Afro has an amazing attitude more people in the hobby could stand to learn from both of you. Keep up the great work man. Thank you.
2. tops blokes. What a really great series guys. Can't wait to see the finished car but the sneak peek on the track looked brilliant. Totally love what you are about and all of the characters that you share the journey with Medic.
Thank you so much for this build series!!! 🙏🏿 Learned so much and I'm super excited to start my own build!!! Special shout out to Afro for being the GOAT!!!
Thank you for learning me something today that's high tech it's awesome watching him teach you when you have been teaching us for so long thanks again made for a great sunday video
I have to say this really makes me want to step up my game and get a really nice setup and build a rwd drift car. I thought everyone drifted just 4wd rc cars applications because it makes it a lot easier to drift I think.
There is an R/C for evryone, the only problem is that I want them all hahahaha, thank you for your amazing content and making shure that the hobby stays fun by teaching all about it. May God bless you all.
Lmao..its an old shop joke.because the brand name says it all guys."Marvel MYSTERY Oil".As an old school engine builder and mechanic myself, it just tells me that he's been in the real tuning business for a while. Same thing on a construction site, when you send the new kid to go grab the "board stretcher"
Wow. Just wow. That is such a beautiful car. AFRO is a god haha. Great drifting by you as well. Looks like I know what I need... ahaha. Like he said. Thank you for who you are. AFRO is a great guy. You both are. 💕👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😎
That was SO cool seeing that you can actually Drift!! I've really got to try it at some point. Plus you got an EPiC Build!! 😎👍👍 ONE thing perplexed me... At the beginning, when he said "you want the Front STIFFER, to drift better". 😲 Now I am NOT about to question a Gentleman with over 30 years experience.... But I've been Building real 1:1 Oval Track and SCCA Race Cars for just as long. The one thing that always stuck out in Suspension setup... When we had the Front Springs too SOFT - the Car always became very Loose - the Back end swung around. In essence, it "acted like" a Drift Car! Now I've learned over the years that a lot of 1:1 Car stuff does NOT equate to the same in 1/10th. This has got to be a case of that. 😉 Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Hi poor man If you think about it a oval track car drives on a totally different surface with totally different tires Same with a SCCA race car once again different tires different scenario but still if you move the weight past the front wheels the rear end gets super loose My background isn’t just drifting but anyway yes if you move the way past the nose the rear will get loose and yes it will oversteer 1/10 scale or one to one scale it’s all the same
@@Afrorc Thank you for that good explanation. Absolutely, 1/1, 1/10, 1/24, whatever.... Moving the center of mass to the Rear will always create a "pendulum effect" in a Car. I'm thinking that's why Yokomo, I highly respected RC Racing Company, placed the Motor and Gearbox in the Rear, Buggy style. Frankly, I'd buy one - just to play with the effects of raising and lowering the Motor position, like you explained in the Video. I believe that raising the Motor, shifts the center of mass upwards - actually throwing the Rear outwards in turns. Highly conducive to Drifting.... I'm spitballing here! I haven't tried Drifting - yet. It just seems to work out that way. As Kids in the early 80's, Drifting wasn't a "thing" yet, even if it was beginning in the fringes. We would enjoy taking Cloverleaf Offramps at high speed, kicking the Gas Pedal to swing the ass out, and try to do the whole 270 degree turn, Sideways. I guess we were Drifting in a way too! 😉
Hey Medic! That was a awesome build series the whole way around man with the kit, people, and knowledge throughout the whole thing! I love the Morris code remark on the suspension setup! Way to support the RCH out and about keep up the great work!😉😎👍
God bless you Afro you're an awesome dude !! What a beautiful drift car medic. Really appreciate use sharing , loved watching it go together , this was just super cool.
Medic...this is friggin awesome dude!! I only have a beginner heli that I haven’t flown in years but... this makes me wanna build just for the challenge! Very interesting, very informative, very addictive lol. Afro is the man! Congratulations on the new build sir
Oh and I think you should bring Afro out to your place and build him a trail truck to return the favor ...and let him participate in UA-cam GOLD BABY!!!!!
I'm so disappointed that there are no RC clubs near me in UK. The drifting aspect looks like so much fun. Sure I could buy a kit and find a place and go by myself and drift all by myself but where's the fun in that. It's a social thing and we need this in the UK. I hope it takes off over here along with the no prep drag racing you guys do....so much fun.
Im nerding out over the tuning!!! I need this in my live! Afro took care of you real good🤩 it looks awesome on the track man, i cant wait for your drift series!!
This is probably the coolest&best and most interesting car to people from your collection, Medic! Predicting THIS series is gonna pull some nice viewers.
IS ANYBODY OUT THERE?!

Afro has a way with words, words of wisdom. Thanks for all the knowledge!!
Very cool! I can’t believe how much drifting has come along. I’m getting back into RC after a 15 year hiatus. Good info in this video. Thanks!
This Afro guy seems very knowledgeable, fun, and down to earth. If I were in Canada and had some money, I would probably get a drift car with a muscle car body and rip it around his track.
You should bring Afro out to your place and build him a crawler
