ive been in hospital for a while ,had a new hip and a bit of a stroke ,but regarding that im doing better . really only watch you and the hoof gp ,so always try and keep in touch @@Peterthefarrier

Harvey's right rear hoof appeared much darker than the other three. Was that natural? Thanks for another wonderful video!
He just has different coloured hooves. It is normal. Appreciate it buddy thank you 😊

Yes the old jumper has gone . When I see a jumper I like I buy 5 of the same colour and stick with it 😂. But it is time for a new one I guess.
I always understood taking down the frog (which you didn't do with this guy) causes concern for now the horse having circulatory issues in the hoof and rasping the front wall (at the top) causes the hoof wall to dry out and be susceptible to cracks....hence hoof issues.
Harvey already has thin narrow frogs as it is. Trimming them down more and making them more narrow won’t help his hooves. With dressing the hoof forwards he has had a laminal wedge. I am dressing the hoof forward to gain better alignment with the distal phalanx.
