Congratulations Judy on the Doctorate. Both of you, I loved the film and all content. Of the channels I follow yours is the one I most look forward to receiving. Thanks again for sharing with us.

Quite an adventure at night with the boar ! (they can swim). Interesting take on modern wooden boat building.Nice to see all the technology enabling your lifestyle. Congrats Judy !

Congratulations Judy on your Doctorate. 🎉🎉👍. Always enjoy your excellent videos and vicariously sailing the beautiful FairIsle. Cheers and stay safe. Dan. ✌️⛵️🇨🇦
Steve/Judy, we just joined as Patrons of your wonderful channel. We enjoy your vids as much or more than most other sailing channels. Love your boat. We are sailors, too. Have a Catalina 36 on DeGray Lake in Arkansas, USA. CONGRATS, Judy on your recent doctorate! Great accomplishment for a liveaboard! Jay and Susan Schafer
Judy will write to you on the Patreon site about our WhatsApp group if you want to join that. We are looking forward to sailing to the US, probably next year, and we are also planning on visiting the Annapolis boat show this year when we come over to see Judys dad. We haven’t seen him since Covid.
For your birthday Judy, or maybe Steve...,, you might like to consider negotiating for installation of a fully plumbed-in small automatic washing machine. We have one on our Southerly 38, which is a lot smaller than Fair Isle, and it works well without taking up much space. I can provide more details if required. Currently in Amsterdam, having come up from Eastbourne via Breskens and the SMR from Vlissingen . Next stop Vollendam. And congratulations Judy on the PhD; a great effort given all the distractions afloat. Keith G.
Judy - ours is a SOBA Babynova 1000. It fits with room to spare in a 600mm wide space between two bulkheads, bolted to a shelf above two pre-existing drawers (above waterline) with cabinetry adjusted to fully enclose it , but with the front 160mm of the shelf above hinged for easy access to the controls along the (inclined) front edge of the top of the machine. My wife was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is- the Jabsco water pump makes more noise than the w/machine. Hope this helps your deliberations!
Really enjoy your videos. Looking forward to seeing more. Judy, your new look makes you look so much younger. Keep up the great adventures! Congratulations on your doctorate!
Suggestion - Cook the fish and ingredients in a foil parcel retains the juices and easier to clean the grill - Those Lotus grills are perfect for boats and beach BBQ's bought one each for my sister and daughter.

Judy how fast can you paddle? 😁They do come out during the day. We saw them at Kekova and captured two on film. But they did not have a kayak 😉 Sail Safe Guys, Ant & Cid.
Thanks a lot for the great videos. I had a similar situation with SIMI. I hope Get well soon. I follow you closely. What's your opinion on the watermaker? How is the energy consumption? does it drain the batteries? Are you satisfied with the production?
Yes the Spectra watermaker has lived up to all expectations so far, draws 10amps as advertised and has been a game changer for us. We have our Super B lithium batteries as well which mean we always have power to run the watermaker
Interesting solution, I have a 12 volt UV sterilizing light connected to the product water line just near the water maker well before my water tanks. this way I make doubly sure the product water from the water maker is safe. Before I did this installation, I was ill from two different water-borne parasites. I know that the water maker membrane is also claimed to filter out all bug pathogens. However, after being very ill and taking X 5 - 3 different antibiotics over a year, one can't be too careful when it comes to drinking water and one health.
Yes I agree you need to be careful. We used to have a filter system but the filters are very expensive and the flow rate quickly becomes very slow so this system is much better we think.

@@svfairisle thank you for your answer. I remember seeing that but were afraid, that the repair on the electronics didn’t work out. Have a nice Sunday! Greetings from Italy.
@@sailingeurybia2272 Yes that’s right my attempts at repairing it failed, but it was under guarantee, eProp’s service centre is in Istanbul so normally it would be sent repaired and returned to the dealers in Cas, but as we wanted to keep moving and cross over to Greece we sent it off and they sent us a new one directly. We had it within a week which we thought was excellently
I watched with interest your videos about the epropulsion outboard. I noticed it stored onboard and you are using the petrol outboard. Is the electric one broken again?
No thats the new one, we just haven't swapped over yet as the Petrol engine has to go back to Frank when we get back to Gocek town. It's so ridiculously heavy to get on and off we're just leaving it there until we can hand it back.
