I remember coming home from school in 2006/2007 to Ultimate Alliance placed on my PS2. Asked my mom about it and she said it was highly recommended by a GameStop employee. Shout out to that GameStop employee, wherever they are.
Probably my most replayed game of the 360 generation. I was OBSESSED! The trivia computer taught me SO MUCH about Marvel. I owe so much of my Marvel fandom to this game.
There’s something surreal about seeing Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther, etc. together and fighting side-by-side these days. It’s like back then it was a time of peace and unity, before the rights war happened
The rights war already existed back then when MUA came out. Fox had the X-Men already and Marvel Studios was just getting started. Nothing's really changed except for the fact that nobody's made a big Marvel game like MUA since then
X-Men Legends & Marvel Ultimate Alliance was my childhood. I absolutely loved these games and I never got tired of replaying this titles. Just the man to do a video about one of my favorite games from the 2000's.. 🔥

But the way I see it is I'll play Legends if I'm in the mood for an ARPG and Ultimate Alliance if I'm in the mood for an arcade brawler.
I remember when I was like seven playing this game for the first time with my dad and my little brother. We literally debated for like an hour about who we would sacrifice in Mephisto’s Realm. This has always been my favorite game and me being the MASSIVE Marvel nerd I am now, it all started here
I always made sure I had Dr. Strange with me going into mephisto's realm because he could break out of the prison and make it back to your team once the level was over

Another thing this game did was take a lot of inspiration from the movies and marvel media of the time. Blade's Wesley snipes costume was featured as his primary, as well as his artificial serum and his needle that boiled a vampires blood both as part of his moveset. Every single fox and marvel movie that come out was included in this game. Xmen, fantastic four, ghost rider, hulk, spiderman, blade. Not to mention they all looked identical to the movies so people recognized these characters.
He wore that same white shirt outfit in the movies I think it was X1. The bullet holes that you can see on his sprite uniform reference to when he was shot next to pyro
I think both Ultimate Alliance 2 and 3 are special in their own ways(especially 3). But UA1 is a true love letter to Marvel fans. And I love every minute of it.
This is one of my favorite games ever. I've played it so many times, but it never gets old. It introduced me to a lot of Marvel characters I hadn't heard of like Doctor Strange and Moon Knight, and the gameplay is just fantastic.
I never realized how much Marvel's Avengers took inspiration from Ultimate Alliance. I knew about these games but never played them when I was actually a big Marvel fan, didn't happen until later in life. I guess Avengers is my Ultimate Alliance lol I played that game for 770 hours and enjoyed every hour. I still play but now it'll be playable offline indefinitely soon. I played since day one.
When I played Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2, I always had Spider-Man in my party because he’s my favorite character in all of fiction, but I loved changing up my party every playthrough. That said, I can confirm Nightcrawler is broken and playing him is so satisfying as a result, but yeah every hero had a pretty solid moveset which is very impressive for a game with so many characters! I miss the old UA games.
I remember getting Ultimate Alliance for the Wii in 2009. I had been a Spider-Man, Hulk, and Ironman fan for a few years at that point but it expanded my knowledge on other Marvel heroes.
Ultimate alliance 1 is one of my favorite games of all time. I still have the original release copy for the original Xbox. So much marvel content (like through the trivia computer for extra xp) and I loved how finding collectibles actually had consequences in the game and altered subplot endings. Fantastic game

One of my favorite games ever, I have beaten it like 10-12 times already, and playing on PC (the 2006 version) the best thing ever is going to MUA Mods and see what other fans have created as new mod characters or new custom skins, download it and loading up on your game and start the game one more time but having some new Marvel Characters, DC ones, and others from other games or pop culture an have a new experience in the game I love already!
One of my favorite games of all time Beat it like 7 times on 360 and even psp. Once i foundout how OP deadpool and wolverine were it was over. God Mode is a life changer. One of my favorite games of all time.
I’m glad I bought this game on the PS4 before it was pulled off the store. I’ve been replaying it on the ps5 and I have to say I’ll never get bored of playing it again, it’s such a masterpiece. From PS3, PS4, and finally PS5. This game is one for the books!
I remember my grandma getting a Guitar Hero Alvin in the Chipmunks game for my birthday but I didn't have a guitar for the PS2 so we went to Best Buy and exchanged it for Ultimate Alliance with the 2 disks. I'll never forget playing it for the first time
For some reason, I got a core memory of sitting in the parking lot of the mall, talking to my aunt about super heroes and finding out she loves daredevil. This is just after I bought Ultimate Alliance 2 and was waiting in the car for my mom. I was so unbelievably hyped to play the game.

Fun little fact for you, on the Nintendo platforms they planned to have Link and Samus as playable crossover characters. The rumor is that they showed off footage of them in the game to Nintendo but someone messed up and had PlayStation button prompts show up and that made Nintendo think that they would be on all the other platforms too so they had them can it.
I'm so thankful that I got to play this when I was younger, it introduced me to so many Marvel characters. It made the MCU all the more exciting for me, I'd played as these characters and now I was going to watch them on screen? Honestly the best. I remember Deadpool being my favourite, he was just as broken as Nightcrawler though.

Don't remember the story cuz it been 7+ years since I beat it, I had Blade, Deadpool, wolverine, and black suit Spider-Man on my team, don't remember getting blade from a claw machine tho. Would love to replay it but there's no new game plus mode and that game took me 21 hours
Actually there is a new game plus. You can start a new game without losing your progresa and characters from the previous run and keep raising their level.
I JUST bought both Ultimate Alliance 1&2. I got the gold edition. It was such a nice part of life a core memory if you will. I used to play the first game with my cousin back in like 2007. It was the first game i played and i have so many fun memories. When i get my cousin were gonna beat it. Then my goal I've been working on for so long will be complete.
When I played this for the first time, I was in the 2nd grade and only knew about Spiderman. This game is what introduced so many characters to me. It really got me into marvel. I remember when I saw Deadpool for the first time, I legit thought he was a new Spiderman with swords. Good times.
I've been playing this now with the 50 roster mod on pc and I've been loving it I use: Juggernaut,beast, Ironman, and Deadpool. Beast for the atck speed boost, Deadpool for damage; and iron man for energy consumption, and I have my Juggernaut just wail away and watch everything get smashed it's a broken build but I love it
You where the perfect age to appreciate this game in its fullest sadly I was a a little too young to fully understand how monumental this game was. Wish it came out like 2010

I remember getting this game as a package deal with my 360. As a kid I assumed since it came with my 360 it wouldn’t be that good, but man I was wrong. This game was so fun. It’s a reason why I’m a huge marvel fan today
X-Men Legends and Ultimate Alliance are some of my favorite games of all time because I played them with my brother. I love so much about Ultimate Alliance, the soundtrack is great, seeing the consequences of your actions and/or inactions at the end of the game, the characters and story, seeing the art between loading screens, little references if you talk to certain characters using a specific team member. GOD it’s just so good, I really wish we got a proper sequel with 2 and 3, the fact that we never got that galactus storyline makes me sad despite the fact that I like 2 and 3.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 the Gold Edition and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 with all the DLC I bought it before it got delisted I beat those game so many times I still have 360 physical copies and the first thing Microsoft should do when they acquire Activision is make Marvel Ultimate Alliance backwards compatible
Why does Activision block the ability to buy the game once they lose the license? They're the only company I have seen to do this and they done it more than once.
Saying the only good thing about Fantastic Four is Dr. Doom is criminal. They are by far my favorite superhero team. Their family dynamic and depth is unmatched imo.

I always liked the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games, but I LOVED the X-Men Legends games. As a 90s kid, it just felt like a continuation of the animated series and I always preferred the cell shaded graphics that still look good to this day. Also honorable mention to Justice League Heroes. Not as good as either Legends or Alliance, but does not get the respect it deserves.
I've only played the first game, but it was my childhood. This game taught me so much about Marvel and all the characters, from heroes to villains to everything in between. It was one of the many reasons I have become such a Marvel fan. I had so much fun making teams and getting the little team bonuses or whatever when I put the right people together. My cousin and I would play this whenever he was over and I would usually play as Spider-Man and The Human Torch while he would always switch it up. Plus, the cutscenes were amazing for 2006! I went back and watched them all not that long ago and was shocked by how good they looked. I still want to play the sequels someday.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance, even to this day should be a framework on how to make a game about Marvel superheroes. You look at something like Marvel's Avengers where they had the budget and squandered it all on making a cheap cash grab live service where you fight the same AIM robots 90% of the game. Even after that disappointment, a few of my friends were still trying to defend it until I gathered them all together and did a 4-player couch co-op through Marvel Ultimate Alliance. 16 years later this game still holds up and the way things are going, it'll probably hold up for another 16 because I don't see anything else coming close to the level of fun this game offers. The only thing that came close was Marvel Heroes.
Idk if it helps anybody, but there's a double pack of Ultimate Alliance and Forza 2 that goes for almost nothing on eBay/mercari because people don't remember it.
Fun fact Punisher was in the game at launch he was patched out on launch day but if you were like me and didn’t have internet growing up you got to play with the Punisher. THQ owned the rights to the character so they had to delete him
Man the biggest thing I remember about this game was getting the bad ending where Galactus eats the planet, I was like 6 and was God damn traumatized by it, beyond terrified that the world was gonna end cause I lost
Holy crap, youtube with a rare good recommendation, I love this game so much, have been playing it on every and any system since it came out, made and used mods for it, speedran it, everything.
X-Men Legends, X-Men Legends II and Ultimate Alliance 1 were all golden but X-Men Legends 1 was just freaking epic. Every time you think the story's at an end, something spine tingling happens that extends the story again and again. I remember how cool it was to use a flier and swoop down low behind another teammate and actually be able to pick them up and carry them anywhere you wanted to. (I hate that this feature never transferred to the sequels but I can imagine scenarios where dicks would probably pick up co-op controlled characters and drop them into instant kill areas griefing their real life teammates.) There was just so much story in XML1 and out of 6 to 8 playthroughs, I had 2 danger rooms that I would literally farm for 7 or 8 hours straight each time and never got bored once. In fact I actually looked forward to unlocking those danger rooms just to farm them to boost my team.
It's crazy how this game had a hole bunch of marvel characters it's also crazy to think that just two years later a movie came out that would Define marvel forever and that is iron man that would open the door to the larger marvel universe for films surecwe had the x men and stuff butter this would change the way people go see movies
This was my first crash course in the broader scope of the Marvel universe. I knew who key heroes were, new some key storylines, but this just cracked up my mind. I remember putting all of my points into one of Thor’s moves and being able to two shot bosses at one point. I got a lot of satisfaction out of that.
I remember playing this and ultimate alliance 2 with my younger brother. I was already 21 and he was only 8. Him being a spidey fan like most kids. We have so many great memories because of this game
This is legitimately one of the best Marvel games ever made. This one holds a special place in my heart, as I spent so many hours on it back in the day and occasionally today. The sequels really do pale in comparison, everything about this first game is just so good. All the different and iconic locations, the depth of the abilities for each character, an entire roster of Marvel heroes ranging from the big leagues to the obscure, comic book missions, tons of iconic villains to fight, 4 costumes for every hero; it's just all so good. I REALLY want this game to have a remaster/remake some day. There's so much room to expand, and the modding scene for this game is a perfect example. They have upwards of 50 characters that you can have at any given time during your playthrough, with you able to slot in what characters you want. But I know that there's a lot more than 50 out there, and it's crazy. There's also a mountain's worth of costumes for every character, including modded characters. A remaster/remake would be so great, imagine all the new characters they could add, how they could expand the original story with new missions and locations, and the costumes... Oh the costumes. I'd love if we could grind out like 10+ costumes per character, something to really add to replayability. A new release on PC would also open it to further modding, because current modding is really limited to the hardware that was around at the time of the original release.
Something vital to my enjoyment of the first and second game which the 3rd did not bring back which crushed my fun with it was the fact that the heroes you weren’t using leveled up at the same time as the heroes you were using which made it fun to use all of them
YOOO THIS GAME SLAPPED, me and my younger brother loved playing this game; there was also, a very similar game, but it was DC instead, which also slapped, but i cannot for the life of me think of the name
Playing this game to this day, still trying to 100 percent it and get every achievement, such a fun game, I fear it’s going to be a sad day when I finally complete it.
this game was my PSP's joey.. it remained in the pouch ready to play at any given moment. Then, when I got my original 360 (before its RROD) I fell in deep love with it all over again. Couch co-op with my kids seeing all the different costumes, giving the explanations that I knew, learning how to mash faster... Great video. My 360 version was the one that had Forza motorsport on the combo.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance was my childhood. I remember spending countless hours playing this on my PSP. This game was also my introduction to the broader Marvel universe, before the MCU. I remember the new character reveals seemed so important to me the only comparison nowadays would be Super Smash Bros dlc reveals for example. Still play this on psp/ps3 to this day. PS ngl UA3 was the reason I bought a Switch because of its exclusivity and although it was light on tog elements I found it to be more of a beat em up almost and still gave me nostalgia. But yep the OG game was the GOAT Marvel game period imo.

I was a blade fan growing up, then punisher, daredevil, ghost rider, and Spider-Man. I grew up watching the much darker Marvel antiheroes that I still use in my squad in ultimate alliance 3. I still remember playing as Wolverine in the water level as a kid and getting lost😂 I love Harry Potter, Star Wars, vampires and werewolves, and saints row 1&2 as much as you love this game so I feel you! Achievement and trophies was something I didn’t care about until I got older.
I never played the ultimate alliance games. I've only played the X-men Legends games, both one and two. If i loved X-men legends, then I'll give ultimate alliance a go.
Im a HUGE X-MEN fan and when this game came out i was over the moon, totally in love with it. I never played this on xbox only on wii and i friggin loved it. no. 2 is my fav and i loved playing as Storm (1 of my top Mutants).
I still own gold edition for my ps4. I have been playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance gold edition for 14 years off and on. I think i have beat it like 1000 times no bs. The characters, customization, music, art, story, etc. Make it a memorable and unforgettable experience.
Your experience with this game is basically the same as mine first experience with so many of these characters still love fing fang foom because of this game its a great snapshot of what marvel was before the mcu
I go back and play this every couple of years. Might still be my favorite Marvel game overall. Great story spanning the farthest reaches of the Marvel universe, so many fun characters to play as, excellent unlockables that make it worth experiencing every character, and a surprising amount of depth despite the very accessible combat. Also, Cap's Shield Throw is insanely satisfying, Carol Danvers with fully upgraded Photon Burst absolutely WRECKS when added to melee build, and using Hawkeye's ultimate at point blank range destroys bosses like no other.

I didn't knew that Blade was a Marvel comic character until I played this game.
For some reason, I got a core memory of sitting in the parking lot of the mall, talking to my aunt about super heroes and finding out she loves daredevil.
This is just after I bought Ultimate Alliance 2 and was waiting in the car for my mom. I was so unbelievably hyped to play the game.

Fun little fact for you, on the Nintendo platforms they planned to have Link and Samus as playable crossover characters. The rumor is that they showed off footage of them in the game to Nintendo but someone messed up and had PlayStation button prompts show up and that made Nintendo think that they would be on all the other platforms too so they had them can it.

I'm so thankful that I got to play this when I was younger, it introduced me to so many Marvel characters. It made the MCU all the more exciting for me, I'd played as these characters and now I was going to watch them on screen? Honestly the best. I remember Deadpool being my favourite, he was just as broken as Nightcrawler though.
I brought this game because I remember playing it on PSP. Don't remember the story cuz it been 7+ years since I beat it, I had Blade, Deadpool, wolverine, and black suit Spider-Man on my team, don't remember getting blade from a claw machine tho. Would love to replay it but there's no new game plus mode and that game took me 21 hours
Actually there is a new game plus. You can start a new game without losing your progresa and characters from the previous run and keep raising their level.

I JUST bought both Ultimate Alliance 1&2. I got the gold edition. It was such a nice part of life a core memory if you will. I used to play the first game with my cousin back in like 2007. It was the first game i played and i have so many fun memories. When i get my cousin were gonna beat it. Then my goal I've been working on for so long will be complete.
When I played this for the first time, I was in the 2nd grade and only knew about Spiderman. This game is what introduced so many characters to me. It really got me into marvel. I remember when I saw Deadpool for the first time, I legit thought he was a new Spiderman with swords. Good times.
I've been playing this now with the 50 roster mod on pc and I've been loving it I use: Juggernaut,beast, Ironman, and Deadpool. Beast for the atck speed boost, Deadpool for damage; and iron man for energy consumption, and I have my Juggernaut just wail away and watch everything get smashed it's a broken build but I love it
You where the perfect age to appreciate this game in its fullest sadly I was a a little too young to fully understand how monumental this game was. Wish it came out like 2010

I remember getting this game as a package deal with my 360. As a kid I assumed since it came with my 360 it wouldn’t be that good, but man I was wrong. This game was so fun. It’s a reason why I’m a huge marvel fan today

X-Men Legends and Ultimate Alliance are some of my favorite games of all time because I played them with my brother. I love so much about Ultimate Alliance, the soundtrack is great, seeing the consequences of your actions and/or inactions at the end of the game, the characters and story, seeing the art between loading screens, little references if you talk to certain characters using a specific team member. GOD it’s just so good, I really wish we got a proper sequel with 2 and 3, the fact that we never got that galactus storyline makes me sad despite the fact that I like 2 and 3.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 the Gold Edition and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 with all the DLC I bought it before it got delisted I beat those game so many times I still have 360 physical copies and the first thing Microsoft should do when they acquire Activision is make Marvel Ultimate Alliance backwards compatible

Why does Activision block the ability to buy the game once they lose the license? They're the only company I have seen to do this and they done it more than once.
Saying the only good thing about Fantastic Four is Dr. Doom is criminal. They are by far my favorite superhero team. Their family dynamic and depth is unmatched imo.

I always liked the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games, but I LOVED the X-Men Legends games. As a 90s kid, it just felt like a continuation of the animated series and I always preferred the cell shaded graphics that still look good to this day.
Also honorable mention to Justice League Heroes. Not as good as either Legends or Alliance, but does not get the respect it deserves.
I've only played the first game, but it was my childhood. This game taught me so much about Marvel and all the characters, from heroes to villains to everything in between. It was one of the many reasons I have become such a Marvel fan. I had so much fun making teams and getting the little team bonuses or whatever when I put the right people together. My cousin and I would play this whenever he was over and I would usually play as Spider-Man and The Human Torch while he would always switch it up. Plus, the cutscenes were amazing for 2006! I went back and watched them all not that long ago and was shocked by how good they looked. I still want to play the sequels someday.
This game was my first introduction to Deadpool, and all his optional dialogue with npcs was amazing. Needless to say, I've loved him ever since
My favorite version is the original Xbox version. It has the most steady frame rate and supports 720p. Great version of the game

Marvel Ultimate Alliance, even to this day should be a framework on how to make a game about Marvel superheroes. You look at something like Marvel's Avengers where they had the budget and squandered it all on making a cheap cash grab live service where you fight the same AIM robots 90% of the game. Even after that disappointment, a few of my friends were still trying to defend it until I gathered them all together and did a 4-player couch co-op through Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
16 years later this game still holds up and the way things are going, it'll probably hold up for another 16 because I don't see anything else coming close to the level of fun this game offers. The only thing that came close was Marvel Heroes.
Idk if it helps anybody, but there's a double pack of Ultimate Alliance and Forza 2 that goes for almost nothing on eBay/mercari because people don't remember it.
Fun fact Punisher was in the game at launch he was patched out on launch day but if you were like me and didn’t have internet growing up you got to play with the Punisher. THQ owned the rights to the character so they had to delete him

Man the biggest thing I remember about this game was getting the bad ending where Galactus eats the planet, I was like 6 and was God damn traumatized by it, beyond terrified that the world was gonna end cause I lost

I have this game on PlayStation 2, and it still holds up after 16 years.
Luckily I have the XB1 digital rerelease of both MUA games that are still playable on current XBox systems.
Played this on ps4 again recently, still so good. Sucks new people can’t buy it anymore for ps4 though

I had always been a fan of Spiderman growing up, but this was THE GAME that introduced me to the Marvel universe at large!
I remember playing this non-stop with my buddy, iron man and Cyclops. Team Lazer. so much fun
X-Men Legends, X-Men Legends II and Ultimate Alliance 1 were all golden but X-Men Legends 1 was just freaking epic. Every time you think the story's at an end, something spine tingling happens that extends the story again and again. I remember how cool it was to use a flier and swoop down low behind another teammate and actually be able to pick them up and carry them anywhere you wanted to. (I hate that this feature never transferred to the sequels but I can imagine scenarios where dicks would probably pick up co-op controlled characters and drop them into instant kill areas griefing their real life teammates.)
There was just so much story in XML1 and out of 6 to 8 playthroughs, I had 2 danger rooms that I would literally farm for 7 or 8 hours straight each time and never got bored once. In fact I actually looked forward to unlocking those danger rooms just to farm them to boost my team.
Love this game so glad I was able to buy it on the PS4 when they put it in the marketplace for a limited time and now I have it on my PS5

It's crazy how this game had a hole bunch of marvel characters it's also crazy to think that just two years later a movie came out that would Define marvel forever and that is iron man that would open the door to the larger marvel universe for films surecwe had the x men and stuff butter this would change the way people go see movies
This was my first crash course in the broader scope of the Marvel universe. I knew who key heroes were, new some key storylines, but this just cracked up my mind.
I remember putting all of my points into one of Thor’s moves and being able to two shot bosses at one point. I got a lot of satisfaction out of that.

I remember playing this and ultimate alliance 2 with my younger brother. I was already 21 and he was only 8. Him being a spidey fan like most kids. We have so many great memories because of this game

This is legitimately one of the best Marvel games ever made. This one holds a special place in my heart, as I spent so many hours on it back in the day and occasionally today. The sequels really do pale in comparison, everything about this first game is just so good. All the different and iconic locations, the depth of the abilities for each character, an entire roster of Marvel heroes ranging from the big leagues to the obscure, comic book missions, tons of iconic villains to fight, 4 costumes for every hero; it's just all so good.
I REALLY want this game to have a remaster/remake some day. There's so much room to expand, and the modding scene for this game is a perfect example. They have upwards of 50 characters that you can have at any given time during your playthrough, with you able to slot in what characters you want. But I know that there's a lot more than 50 out there, and it's crazy. There's also a mountain's worth of costumes for every character, including modded characters.
A remaster/remake would be so great, imagine all the new characters they could add, how they could expand the original story with new missions and locations, and the costumes... Oh the costumes. I'd love if we could grind out like 10+ costumes per character, something to really add to replayability. A new release on PC would also open it to further modding, because current modding is really limited to the hardware that was around at the time of the original release.
Something vital to my enjoyment of the first and second game which the 3rd did not bring back which crushed my fun with it was the fact that the heroes you weren’t using leveled up at the same time as the heroes you were using which made it fun to use all of them

Playing this game to this day, still trying to 100 percent it and get every achievement, such a fun game, I fear it’s going to be a sad day when I finally complete it.
this game was my PSP's joey.. it remained in the pouch ready to play at any given moment. Then, when I got my original 360 (before its RROD) I fell in deep love with it all over again. Couch co-op with my kids seeing all the different costumes, giving the explanations that I knew, learning how to mash faster... Great video. My 360 version was the one that had Forza motorsport on the combo.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance was my childhood. I remember spending countless hours playing this on my PSP. This game was also my introduction to the broader Marvel universe, before the MCU. MUA was just peak 2000s Marvel and as much as I love the MCU, that era of Marvel holds a special place in my heart. Plus the game portrayed Doctor Doom far better than the movies did lol.

PS ngl UA3 was the reason I bought a Switch because of its exclusivity and although it was light on tog elements I found it to be more of a beat em up almost and still gave me nostalgia. But yep the OG game was the GOAT Marvel game period imo.

i remember finishing this game 4 -5 times just to get those different endings. Marvel ultimate alliance is the best multi character marvel game to date. it was just that amazing.

I was a blade fan growing up, then punisher, daredevil, ghost rider, and Spider-Man. I grew up watching the much darker Marvel antiheroes that I still use in my squad in ultimate alliance 3.
I still remember playing as Wolverine in the water level as a kid and getting lost😂 I love Harry Potter, Star Wars, vampires and werewolves, and saints row 1&2 as much as you love this game so I feel you!

I never played the ultimate alliance games. I've only played the X-men Legends games, both one and two. If i loved X-men legends, then I'll give ultimate alliance a go.

I still own gold edition for my ps4. I have been playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance gold edition for 14 years off and on. I think i have beat it like 1000 times no bs. The characters, customization, music, art, story, etc. Make it a memorable and unforgettable experience.
Your experience with this game is basically the same as mine first experience with so many of these characters still love fing fang foom because of this game its a great snapshot of what marvel was before the mcu
I go back and play this every couple of years. Might still be my favorite Marvel game overall. Great story spanning the farthest reaches of the Marvel universe, so many fun characters to play as, excellent unlockables that make it worth experiencing every character, and a surprising amount of depth despite the very accessible combat.
Also, Cap's Shield Throw is insanely satisfying, Carol Danvers with fully upgraded Photon Burst absolutely WRECKS when added to melee build, and using Hawkeye's ultimate at point blank range destroys bosses like no other.
