Well the electrician installed the horizontal positioned outlets wrong on that riser , The wide neutral blade slot should be facing up because if an appliance is plugged in and works its way out and something falls across the top you would get a very bad arc with the way they are installed now , Neutral up No ark danger .
Lol, yea I told my wife I was gonna have to cut it if it gets stuck under a slab! Lmao. My partner Sammy with the long Grey beard got pinned to saw table by his beard getting caught under a slab.
Question? removing tile countertops to install granite. We have a split level bar and trying to figure out how to tear out 3/4" plywood that is laid directly on the cabinet but under the supports for the bar top. We believe the 3/4" plywood is the support for the bar top. How can I get out the 3/4" plywood which is nailed down under bar top? If we do manage to get this out, will it remove support for the bar top?
My time I have that situation we either lose the supports and put new ones, or you have to raise the supports. when doing tile tearout depending on how it was installed I will try to pry tile and wood all off at once . this is possible if nailed instead of screwed. if it screwed you have to go later by later and it can be really messy and time consuming. thanks for watching, dry it took so long to reply.
What is the purpose of recessing the brackets into and flush with the top of the 2x4? Could you just mount them on top and have the bar top resting on the steel brackets?
it isn't a smoke detector. it is the alarm system for building which we share. that beeping is a pain in my ass, but if I can endure it for days you can endure it for a few minutes. lol. I hate that beeping, and we have had it "fixed" multiple times only to suffer through it a month later.
I'm not sure on that. I think a cabinet guy or builder would be a better person to ask. I have mine in showroom at 44 inches to top of stone. It seems to work good for barstools.
Silicone, but the longer ones usually have screw holes if not attaching them to granite or marble. I’m building one right now out of a chevron patterned butcher block. Customer wanted the enter knee wall dropped by 5 inches and then a special designed cut for the tabletop. I ordered the 16” version of these and they are heavy duty, 1/4” thick steel. I put silicone on the knee wall and on the brackets.

Just had the boss order one of those brace routers! Been doing the old school way of skill saw and chisel.

I guess you could but it wouldnt be supported all the way around unless you used a lot of shims and silicone.
And trust me when i tell you, the customer will not go for that.
Does anybody know how this brackets are called or other place or store can I find them?

What is the proper height for the barn?
Bar?

How did you attach the granite to the brackets?
Silicone

Thank you
You are very welcome, thanks for watching.
The correct terminology would be "countersunk".
Manufacturer says 1/4" screws for granite, read the destructions ,howw you don't hurt someone
drywall screws?! fail.
What do you mean?
