🤦♀️. I got sick of pinching my fingers even with the handle on the strap. We now strap it to a hand truck. Works great!
We always silicone or glue our shims as well. Years ago we had some fall out somehow and that lead to the seam cracking. Ever since then they all get glued!
😬
Why do I watch work videos at 9.45pm on a Sunday 😢
Haha you too eh
Love the color choice! Quartz does suck! 👊
I build a set out of 2cm quartz. The legs were the hardest part.
Just curious why you like granite over quartz?
Will the blue show up after it's leathered?
Ohh that's a good idea
Try it
My old shop would of filled it with clear and put in on the cnc. They think finishers will just polish it right on up. Then the installers got to be the ones who lift in and back out because the shop manager didnt inspect it coming off the truck
@brettmoore3194 yea that sucks man. Even if I want the one doing most the work I couldn't do my guys or customers like that.
@FOUCHFABS first granite shop I work for was a dream but I was offered lots more money to go to the competition. Learn the hard way why they had to pay so much to retain employees
Oooffff that's gonna be murder on someone's back! Have fun with that hehe 😁
@harrod19 lol, thx. Gonna be my back I'm sure. I'm gonna try to do it a little at a time. Otherwise it's trash. I couldn't sleep if I sold it to someone.
@@FOUCHFABS you've probably got leathering techniques figured out but for the aggressive pads, maybe 40ish and 150ish grit, I use a grinder with external water. For the rest I use a polisher. Goes much faster with a grinder but the poor water feed eats up the pads. Have fun!
My only concern I have in that situation is that it will slide straight in. Some posts are twisted... If everything is straight and square then easy install.
The motor tends to lock up do to the plastic from the casing I had the same problem took mine apart and it was a little piece of plastic that was caught in the motor that made it bind up and stop working mine works now however I do like the older one better I feel like it just has more power that stays continuously
I haven’t use tape for about 10 Years now .. I use white out or pencil or pen .. I made myself learn how to use tape ..
Pretty douchey narration musta been warranty work. If you were getting paid for the repair you wouldnt whine like that.
Lol ok tough guy. Pretty sure he didn't do the original installation. He's there to fix someone else's work.
@@harrod19 and get paid. He should be thankful…tough guy.
@@jasonroach8751 some of us are motivated by things other than money. We work for other reasons.
Where are you guys based?
NC
Just shut up and do the work you are getting paid for.
Ha ha! It’s okay to vent . I just found the channel.. very interesting. And I need new worktops!
Is that what your boyfriend tells you when your under the covers?
@@FOUCHFABSlmao, he's definitely closeted 😂
That is a beautiful slab! I hope the blue comes out!
Scotch blue
All we do is overhangs on our sinks and the fact that they had y’all come do it is sad😂
Not cool. We've never had an issue with Viper brand from BBI. Quality control these days is GARBAGE!
Pay cheap? -pay dear 💀
We don't do an overhang into kitchen sinks. We cut where the radius starts on the sink. I've only had one customer request a slight overhang.
I cut overhangs on all my sinks with these I can't have much of an overhang. I personally don't like seeing the transition from sink to stone and the silicone with food and crap all over it so I do a stone overhang. If the request it flush I will do it.
@@FOUCHFABS Yep, I hear ya.
nice work
Thanks
Not soap stone
Lol thank God you're here to help! Medspank would be proud
How can you tell?
Why not set this up on the bridge saw?
Weird place for a sink but beautiful nonetheless
Haha no kidding 😂 whole lotta crazy going on there lol
The fact that me and my father poured our own cement countertops in the garage and brought them in the house ourselves kindof astounds me now 🤣🤣🤣🤟🤟
That sounds extremely hard lol we made forms for the concrete in the kitchen
What an awesome set up for the shop cats! 😺
I have never cut the edge off a slab unless it was chipped damaged or needed to and I’ve never ever had a proble
Can't beat that relief when she's in, no damage.. phew! 😂
Well that's good to know but looks like hell on your back
From we're I come from we sand it down with a 50 pad
@@user-ze1qm5iw7s you sand 3cm down to 2cm??
It kinda doesn’t look like soapstone..
Tight space? No problem. Nice work.
Yes, thanks
That soapstone is gorgeous!
Looks like it's back to cutting for that blade.
All your work comes out great
Thank you! Cheers!
Nah put a seam anyway bro not worth backache/nightmares and besides your joins are practically invisible 😂
Turned out perfect!
Always cut from the outside going in.
So we’re just gonna ignore the big ass crack n chip under the the cabinet 😂😂😂
How much you got in your lip 😂
I actually have an interesting knife called the Toughbuilt scraper knife, very handy piece of kit and I think something like that would work wonders for scraping that epoxy off
Ah, I've actually used one of them. Very bulky but I thought it was a pretty good tool until I figured out that the only razor blades you can use are the tuff built brand ones and they were like 10 times the cost. No thank you!
@@harrod19 there’s no price tag on quality my friend
@@M.Godfrey what lol?? Of course there is. If the knife cost $10,000 you definitely would not buy it. There's no chance in hell a granite shop is going to pay 10x cost for razor blades just because the blade can be used conventionally and as a scraper. A traditional straight blade scraper is like $6 and blades are 10x less. What are you talking about 😭
@@harrod19 you are obviously a cheap ass 😂
yaw haw that looks pretty good ma dawg
Let the professional do the work. We let home owner do part of the work . Where it comes together is not going to fit. Just sayin
That's fantastic 💪💪
Can't hear anything you said but hopefully it worked. I'm nervous!!
I don't know why the sound was bad. Maybe my headphones. It did work pretty good.
BEAUTIFUL! The rare time I love the internet. I'm 10x better at stone and tile because of guys like you. The tile world has blown up in the last couple of years! Agree 100%, customer template on islands, vanities, etc. Have a great weekend big man!
Wow, thank you!
Excellent!
Many thanks!
Easy money. I like how u mix ur epoxy right on point tone saludos desde Jalisco
Thanks 👍
