This is great! I need example 3 but not comparing cost, I just need to return what is found in the columns with what is is different in the 3rd column i.e. same employee ID and amount but different coding. Help!
I really needed this AND I enjoyed watching....however....please slow down. It's hard to follow. I don't know if you're shooting for a particular time limit but it's a struggle to follow your steps. Thank you for the upload.
nice one but for beginner power query users like myself, you may want to slow down a bit and more importantly, not skip important steps. Just a thought. Thanks for the tutorial
Thank you, Sir, for your valuable information; I have questions. I have 2 Excel data sheets that I need to compare, and after the comparison, I need to copy the correct values from one data sheet to another and download it. Could you please help me with that? Thank you.
Wow. I had no idea all this stuff was possible. I thought I'd need some whacky formula to get these results but this seems more elegant. The only issue I'm facing is that since one of the data sources is another excel file on someone else's sharepoint... well, I don't know if it's because of this but the issue (inconvenience, really) is that it doesn't live update. I need to hit Data > Refresh All to get it to update. I've made a couple formulas that warn me to do so if the counts don't match up but live updating would be nicer. Anyway. Thanks so much for the quick and easy guide! It was a perfect solution for the problem I was trying to get past.
Amazing! Love the clarity and speed of the instructions. Thanks a lot!

Tip: Click the "Settings" cog at bottom of video frame, Click "Playback Speed", Choose a slower speed 👍

Providing the initial data as a download would really help.
