I guess you guys are talking about me. I'm 68 and she is 23. We have only 2 issues, 1 is money, I'm retired, have a great pension and I like to go out and eat breakfast 4x a week. She is always hounding me how much it costs $9.00 with tip. Lunch 3x a week, same price. We might eat dinner out 1x a month=1000 pesos. Every time I or we buy something or just looking, she's telling me NO! It's expensive. She's from the province. Drives me nuts. #2, we have a child, my partner and her mother are nuts. The Superstitions they have are mind boggling. Incredible stupidity on display. The mother always passing her clothes down to my partner.
I am extremely blessed that my Filipina is not that much younger then I am. We do have a relationship that was built on friendship first. She never has asked for money and has told her family that I may be an American but I am not wealthy. We will be living on a budget which will let us live very comfortably. We act like teenagers so the slight age gap doesn’t come into play.
Yes. Good video. It's always nice to hear from good couples who are sharing. 😇❤️.. it's good to be reminded also. Life is short and being in a happy relationship is special. 70 years old this week, in Australia, Brisbane. Fingers crossed I'm going on a trip next year. Have already been to 18 countries, not sure about the Philippines because I'm anti church and religion. I think this is what holds the Philippines back from becoming a better place. Yourselves are doing great and I have seen others who are loving it. Will make an effort to change my prejudice and visit. Thanks. 👍😇❤️
I would never go more than 5 or 6 years younger than me. Anything else is perverted in my opinion. Or taking advantage of a younger girl because she is poor and desperate to get out of poverty. Many of these half dead immigrants bring nothing to the table except for a social security check and full time care giver duty.
Check out minute 16:43 where Maya, Gio, and Borat are all 3 doing a thumbs up.... Hillarious. - I DON'T think it will work if: the ExPat is looking to be sedentary in his retirement AND/OR the Filipina still has not had any work experience and wants to party with friends.... then it's 'probably' not gonna work unless you have an open relationship. - I DO think it Could work if: the ExPat is still fit & active and can be Respectful of her perspectives and recognize that the Filipina is his Cultural Ambassador AND the Filipina has had enough Real Life experience to be realistic and realize how hard it is to Make It in the world. In that scenario I could see the Couple developing a realistic Plan for the future of both partners..... kinda like M&Gio... M&Janet... P&B.Mae... G&Eli... to name a few.... they all have their own Channels and are building a brand (and houses in some cases) IMO. Peace and Love, B Goat
What should you watch out for when dating a younger filipina? Mine is 25 and sometimes o scratch my head at her doing. In a nutshell she claims to be not a showee person however her social media activity says differently.
Already mentioned. I come from Japanese martial arts, where the most important commandment is respect and recognition towards other people, regardless of age and performance. Therefore, I will treat and support my future wife in the same way; she can also get involved in my professional ventures as long as she is honest and trustworthy. Otherwise, at the slightest suspicion, I will strictly separate business (assets/finances) and private (relationships) If I get involved with a very young woman, then it is my duty to look after her and support her in her professional life or at least to ensure that she and the children are provided for in the event of my death.
If a couple wanna date with large age gap it's up to them. Has nothing to do with you or others. Your no experts on other people's relationships. Mind your own business
Thanks Maya & Gio for great advice. You touched on a few things that wouldn't automatically come to mind. Have a great day! Regards, Sam from Sydney-Australia.
Hi. I'm 60 now ( last of the baby boomers). It seems that in the Philippines, there isn't so much emphasis on which generation you're born in, such as Generation X or Millenial, Generation Z, and so on. Even the thought of dating someone in Canada that's a Millenial ( 1981 - 1996) and me being born in 1964 would be pretty much nonexistent. Do Philippinas ( amongst their own culture) look at age differences as much as the Western world does?
Gio: "I don't want to be that guy." 😂 You're talking about ME! 64 and haven't dated for 16 years. Just now starting to look for a partner. I think I waited too long.
Too much large age gap criticism. Partner should be respected and treated as equal, no matter what the age difference. As far as work and planning for the future, that should be taken into consideration regardless of age also. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. Building a person up for future success should be always. Not criticizing, just giving my thoughts. Thanks for sharing y’all’s.

I’m 61 and am more comfortable with being in a relationship with 40 year old than a 20 year old.

More cash more fun!❤🎉🎉🎉
40 years? WOW. I just don't get it. I couldn't date anyone younger than 35. Nor more than 25 years.

We’re only one person contributes to the financial stability of the relationship. It will never work. It’s that simple simple

It's the social media addiction that would give me pause, not the fact that she's young or a Filipina.

I think wishdome does not always come with age. I know many young boys and girls (my employees) who are very intelligent and wise.

Eh, it doesn't really matter. Modern women are so age prejudiced that guys as young as 35 get considered "old". 😎
