Haha, I have to tell you that my 70-year-old neighbor has a similar one. I'm in China. He uses it to pick up his granddaughter to kindergarten every day. The factory in China deliberately reduced the power of the vehicle's engine so that he could not drive very fast, so he did not need a license or even a driver's license. @@marcusborderlands6177 yeah, I was thinking about the logistics and how useful a vehicle like this would be. Doesn't need a large battery because...well it's a neighborhood commute vehicle. Given how cheap they make vehicles. I wonder if they could make electric conversion kits to update older US street legal vehicles to electricity, upgrade electronics and refresh interiors.
Hi. I have a question. Which battery voltage is better for range? Imagine an ebike with a 72v capable bafang m620 and 2 batteries of the same watt hours, 1 is 52v, 2 is 72v. If the bike is going the same speed same load etc, Same watts output. For example Does the bafang m620 work more efficiently on the lower voltage? Thanks Tom

When I am doing my own budget DIY conversion, how do I connect the cheap battery pack to my controller? Could you make a video on batteries and connectors?
Dang man. Living on the West coast, something like this honestly looks pretty tempting for the price. Realistically, I don't plan on getting one, but I'd sure as heck take this over a golf cart any day.

Don’t know that I’d want to drive this on the street or if it’s even street legal in the US, but I can see it coming in handy instead of an ATV for someone that has a large property that they need to move things around on. Might need to upgrade the tires to something more suited for off-road.
This is great customer service! I'd love to have one to get to my offroad farming property. But there is zero chance they'd let me drive it in Germany. No matter if it's safe, the german car industry is way to influential. B.t.w. I'm waiting for my solar/electric car Sion (Sono motors germany), I really hope you'll be able to feature it once it hits the streets.
You cannot drive this in Germany even on your own off road property? That's incredibly odd. Here in the US, at least the MN state, these cars can get registered as Low Speed electric vehicles, which won't make them highway legal but you can go on any street marked up to 35mph. I'm not sure if there is a classification or process in Germany that is similar
Cute little pick up. I went to the manufacturer’s site and while it gave a decent amount of information, it didn’t give payload capacity. Also, is it street legal?

I want to build an electric bike for my wife and I to use while camping as well. Great videos and full of info. Keep up the great work Micah, till next vid take care.
Any concept on load capacity and speed? I heard Robert mention 37 mph on that one vehicle and it appeared he was going to give you a speed when the battery said goodnight! That was great! Please tell Robert he has many new internet friends in the United States.
I can't wait to hear how you make out. would love to see an unpacking video and hear about your experience registering the vehicle. also, what is the top speed in Miles/Hour? and how many miles will it go on a full charge! looking forward to more videos on this!!
why not solar panel on the hood, and the top of it. then you could have in the second seat a a little recumbent bike that could charge the battery. now you can go anywhere. plus if you have a passenger with you, they have something to do besides be on their phone
It's doubtful you could *go* any 'insane range' on the road in the US in that, and what would be the point in taking a cheap pickup there if you couldn't carry anything but batteries? :)
@@timwegman5776 Basically he is saying this is a dollar value version of the F-150 lighting. But I think this ride is pretty cool. I cant wait for the review.

I doubt you'd even use that in the streets... Those things are pretty slow and are designed to go on bicycle lanes in china which is why you don't need a lisence for them.
Nice, I'll be sure to follow along with the progress/updates!
I am gonna use the bed hydraulic as a campervan leveling system.
I can't believe how cheap it is. Look forward to seeing your video when it arrives.
Cheers
Peter
Given how cheap they make vehicles. I wonder if they could make electric conversion kits to update older US street legal vehicles to electricity, upgrade electronics and refresh interiors.
Gas companies won't like it.!!!
I definitely want one🔥
Thanks brother
Genius professional seller honest complete transparency friendly makes me want to buy from you!
Thanks
Tom
I'm very interested in seeing you drive this thing. I want one! That being said I work for a golf cart dealership and have seen performance problems with 4k motors. I can't imagine a 3k.
That eTruck is sooooo tempting.
“Oh, your battery is dead!” Lmao.
The bed makes it easy to dump your crazy girlfriend. Hell yeah dude I'll pull you out, but 1st, have you seen a charger out here in the woods?
this is great, lol... I really thought I misread the price when first looking at it... paid $2k for my kingsong 16x euc with 3 less wheels and no sunroof! looking forward to seeing some updates when u get it.
congrats on the big channel growth btw, been a subscriber since 2017 or so back from the battery pack building days.
This looks really neat, the factory was really keen to talk about their product. When you get the truck how about putting it up head-to-head with a golf cart and doing a round of golf with it?
How do you register a non compliant vehicle here?
I've been subscribed to your channel for so long..... and I just want to say, You are outstanding in everything you do. You always seem too impresses.. just want to tell you thank you thank you thank you, I have so much more understanding about electric vehicles & learning more everyday because of you. Thanks again🔥🍻
Thank you for sharing your EV interests. I will need one of these as soon as I upsize my estate.
Flood the market with these trucks and say goodbye to climate crisis.
Well nearly 😁
I just read your article it was amazing and then I found your video about the same truck. It's my lucky day.
I would be very interested in a truck like that. I currently have an electric golf cart for my camping trips. Working on upgrading the electronics to solid state and also upgrading the motor. I am new to the whole lithium battery scene.so therefore I bought your book on lithium batteries. Haven't read it yet but will soon as I am getting quite a collection of cells. I want to build an electric bike for my wife and I to use while camping as well. Great videos and full of info. Keep up the great work Micah, till next vid take care.
Can't wait for your update on this.....
Very interested in the AC for AZ use! Looking forward!
Omg that phonecall was quite an experience 😅🥳😜
I think we need to embrace emerging technology I just wish it was here in the USA at the prices we can afford
still very cheap labor in China
Nice truck! Looking forward to hearing more about the importation process and what it's like actually using it.
This thing is so cool if I had more property I would get one.
I wish all dealerships had the same level of communication as this Chinese one does. I'm impressed.
Interested for how Customs deals with this and the import tax you will need to pay.
@@FarmerFpv Do you have a link for that thing?
i am also wondering if this could be deemed street legal..perhaps as a "neighborhood vehicle" and could then be driven on streets?
butthole before customs -----> .
butthole after customs --------> O
How to register this thing?
@@manp1039 Depends on the state and exact locality.
You are the coolest dude! So chill about the whole thing.
did you got the truck yet?
that truck looks very very fun. kudos to Robert for the tour and ride along
Would definitely buy one of those mini SUV’s, that thing looks cool
Any concept on load capacity and speed? I heard Robert mention 37 mph on that one vehicle and it appeared he was going to give you a speed when the battery said goodnight! That was great!
Please tell Robert he has many new internet friends in the United States.
How much did it cost with all the extra features?
looking forward to see the product review
Im waiting the speed test of this sweet truck¡!!
Can that truck be Register to be driven on the streets?
Haha thats so cool! I laughed so hard when it went flat on the test run 😅 So excited for your review now and maybe your modifications too it oneday 😉😈
I have been thinking about this , the most useful application for an electric vehicle would be a small pickup like this as a farm hand truck
I just laughed out loud when the battery died, that chinese guy is funny
I can't wait to hear how you make out. would love to see an unpacking video and hear about your experience registering the vehicle. also, what is the top speed in Miles/Hour? and how many miles will it go on a full charge! looking forward to more videos on this!!
imagine filling the bed with batteries and getting insane range
exactly what I thought
And take it to the ocean shore
why not solar panel on the hood, and the top of it. then you could have in the second seat a a little recumbent bike that could charge the battery. now you can go anywhere. plus if you have a passenger with you, they have something to do besides be on their phone
That would weigh a tonne, hindering acceleration greatly.
It's doubtful you could *go* any 'insane range' on the road in the US in that, and what would be the point in taking a cheap pickup there if you couldn't carry anything but batteries? :)
So you can get 2 of these for the cost of an expensive e bike?
"can we get a Ford lightning EV?'
"no, we have a Ford lightning EV at home"
the Ford lightning EV at home:
Sorry I don't get this comment did I miss something or am I just dim? Lol!
@@timwegman5776 Basically he is saying this is a dollar value version of the F-150 lighting. But I think this ride is pretty cool. I cant wait for the review.
Looks like the front is a Chevy Silverado 2500 and the back is a Ford f250
It probably has the same parts.
Can it be licensced to use on roads and if so all roads or just certain roads like under 45 mph speed limits etc like road legal golf carts? I am relatively sure it hasnt passed crash tests etc.
that is the most quietest EV ever; that's awesome.
