0:10 - Bomb and Heavy are very interesting! The first robots to rebel against Eggman. Designs that are utterly unique to anything else Eggman has ever made. Are there any plans for them in the future?
0:40 - Are the Mechanix (Bomb and Heavy) considered part of classic or modern? The Chaotix are treated as modern, though i'm not sure where the mechanix stand.
1:49 - How would Belle or Sage react to Bomb and Heavy?
2:35 - Just how indestructible is Heavy the Mechanix? Across Knuckles Chaotix hes shown being able to tank basically any and every hit thrown at him. Even shrugging off blows by Metal Sonic Kai with no problem. Is he truly immune to all harm? Can none stop him? Did Eggman create the truly unstoppable Überme(ns)ch?!?
4:10 - What would happen if Bark & Bean and Bomb & Heavy traded partners?
5:02 - How exactly does Bomb the Mechanix...Work? I mean, they explode, but are up and attem in seconds, ready to go off once again. How does THAT work?
6:16 - What is Bomb and Heavy's relationship? Are they acquaintances? Are they friends? Siblings? Or...Lovers? The public demands to know!
8:38 - What are your opinions on Heavy and Bomb, and how would you give them unique personalities and stories with potential in the current age where we have many other robots on the side of good? I liked what you were starting to do with them in Archie before the reboot, so if you have extended plans to share from that, or just ideas that pop into your head now, I’d love to hear it.
11:45 - If Heavy and Bomb appeared in a classic special what alignment would they be? Good like how their Archie counterparts were (...usually). Evil trying to fool the good guys, which was a possibility raised in Chaotix. Or perhaps a case of both genuinely trying to be good but are so incompetent at it, that it leads the cast wondering if Eggman was trying to pull something with both of them?
13:42 - The manual of Chaotix implied that Heavy and Bomb may not have actually defected from Eggman, and are actually there to hinder the heroes on Eggman’s orders by slowing them down and constantly exploding on them. If they were ever brought back for the classic comics, would this possible villainous side be played up, or would they just be considered innocently inept?
14:38 - How would Omega interact with Heavy and Bomb? If it came to a fight, which rebellious robots would come out on top?
16:34 - Heavy and Bomb have the day off to relax, where are they going? What's their dream vacation?

Archie Mega Man is one of my favourite things that Ian has wrote, and one of the most interesting characters is Tempo AKA Quake Woman. If you're able to get into it, did you have any concrete further plans for Tempo? If you're not able to answer, what's your favourite arc you wrote for Archie Mega Man?

8:38 honestly i think they’d work better as mute total bros. The kind of dudes to immediatey celebrate (or break dance in bomb’s case) after a victory, and high five.
I like the idea of Heavy and Bomb being sidekicks to the Chaotix. The straight man gimmick is a fun take and I can see Vector ordering them around and treating them as his personal mooks in a way he wouldn't treat Espio or Charmy.
5:02 I believe the logic behind, a side from game mechanics, is that Bomb is like the Voltorb and Electrode from Pokémon: they generate inside themselves the energy needed to, perhaps with a mini generator or though chemicals, and release it in a big explosion while they're bodies, while damaged, remain intact/whole, they don't simply break.
You know, I still can’t really wrap my head around the classic sonic from mania, forces, and generations can still be a part of the main timeline.
Maybe this is just my opinion, it ruins any dramatic tension. It’s like how in justice league unlimited Batman teams up with an older version of Bruce Wayne, and they make the comment that they must win since Bruce Wayne survives to be an old man, so they have to directly acknowledge that the timeline has clearly split because of time travel shenanigans. (sure we can logically assume sonic will survive because he’s the main character, but having classic sonic there as a constant reminder, he survives just breaks the potion.
And outside of thematic reasons, wouldn’t Sonic, Eggman, Tails, & Knuckles all be familiar with the phantom Ruby already if they lived through the events of mania? It’s made clear in forces that Sonic has no idea what the phantom ruby is until Shadow spells it out for him.
No hate of course, and this is on Sonic Forces for having a messy plot, but until there’s an in universe reason to explain why modern sonic doesn’t remember any of forces or generations I’m still going to headcanon mania is its own split timeline

i think bean will take a liking to Bomb, do to the fact that his ability is to throw bombs!
I hope Heavy and Bomb would be both idw exclusive characters. It'll be cool how they'll be portrayed in the comics.

It's okay to ask questions, but just know that they likely won't be answered any time soon. The last standard Q&A was over a year ago, so your only hope for a timely response is if somebody else decides to boost it for you, which in itself is quite rare.
