You forgot to do one very important preventative job while you had the oil pan out!!!! The oil pump nut on the m50 is known to fall off by itself. At the very least you should have thrown some red thread lock on nut and retoruqed it!!! We usually safety wire the oil pump nut or actually some guys tack weld the nut to the shaft because the nut is known for backing out on the m50/m52 engines. If you havent heard about this then you should keep that in mind and do some research, because if that nut falls off while you on the track and you dont notice the oil pressure drop you can sieze up the engine really quick and destroy the pistons just because of that stupid nut Otherwise Good work bro! Just like me in my garage at home but instead im doing this in an apartment lol.
Will definitely do that next time, I noticed there is still a minor leak so I might pull the pan again and do the oil pump nut, I have oil pressure gauges next time so I will know when oil pressure drops
@@TJS36 ok ya keep an eye on the oil pressure from time to time and you should be good. but you should always use a little bit oF rtv on the oil pan gasket it doesnt seal the best without it. Use some silicone gasket maker if you go to pull it off again
