How can I edit the mobile styles? I'm beginning to hate Mailchimp, 8 years later. No information on their blog, no nothing about the new editor. The email looks horrible on mobile.
Unfortunately I'm not sure about edting the mobile styles, all I know is you can preview in mobile mode and make adjustments. Not the best solution but all we can do right now unfortunately.

@@WadeMcMaster Bro, mine is looking different too. Is classic building the paid version of mailchimp or is it something i can correct in the settings?
@@chidieberebasil6258 No problem, they're both on the Free version, here's how to switch:
1. Head to & click the bottom left menu (should be a circle)
2. When the menu appears, click 'Account'
3. Click the top 'Settings' Tab then 'Details'
4. Choos eyour Default Email Builder

Hi Wade, Thanks for your video, it helped me out.
To return the favor I wanted to point you in the right direction regarding the issue you are having with the Helvetica font on your computer. To improve speed, websites check if you have the desired font installed and if that is the case they will use that one. This way there is no unnecessary data transferred and the page loads faster. To fix this you simply have to remove the font from your computer so the font will be downloaded from the server again.

Do you have any tutorials on how to use anchors or table of contents with the new mailchimp content builder?
There is a table of contents merge tag - however I am not familiar enough with it to get it to work in the new editor unfortunately :(

I couldn't see it using the basic editor unfortunately. But using the layouts maybe you can find a workaround.
I know you mentioned that you can add a link to videos or photos but do you know if you can hyperlink words in your newsletter if I wanted a certain word to be able to take someone to a different website if they clicked?
Hi Taylor, you should be able tonhighlight the text you want, hit the link icon and add a link directly. Hope that helps!
having problems with uploaded images. When I insert them into Mailchimp the size is all off. I have tried saving images in different px formats but the results are inconsistent. Is there a standard px size I should use when I want to upload an image to Mailchimp?
I dont believe there is. However i do think mailchimp sizes the image according to the layout, so ithink youd need to adjust the layout itself. Let me know if this doesnt help!

I'm struggling with the layout in basic editor. If you want to split a row between an image and a text box it will only let you do it exactly 50/50. It looks bad. :/ I'd love to be able to adjust it because I'm just using a basic little icon type thing as my image
I cant see a way to alter the column widths unfortunately, its only pretty basic it seems. Sorry mate :(
@@WadeMcMaster I cracked it actually! Under "add" there's a tab that says layouts and there's some options there that are some of a 1:2 ratio. You can drag an image to one side in the layout and a paragraph box to the other.
The only problem is that I've already done some of my content in the 1:1 style and after recreating it 1:2, I think it looks good as it was before 🤔🤔
