My Zeeksaw got here to me today. So, whew. It's going to live in my truck for camping and firewood cutting.
Awesome...I love mine
Just picked one of these up for backpacking after searching on UA-cam for over an hour. No websites I found even mentioned it... Thank you for bringing this product to my attention. Subscribing =D
Which one?...Zeeksaw or Saker?
I like battery powered tools, and have no need for a chainsaw like this, but still want one.
TY, made my decision a whole lot easier 😊 Zeeksaw it is.
Thank you, so much for doing this review. I liked that you compared them by cutting rather than just by talking about each one. Do you recommend someone like me (a senior) to buy one of these? Is it safe for me to use as I've never used a chainsaw of any kind? I have used other corded and cordless tools like circular saws, jigsaws, table saws, mitre saws, scroll saws, reciprocating saws, and of course, pruning saws.
I'd like to know why the manufacturers always say never to cut anything bigger than the bar. Is it a dangerous practice for beginners? I know you know what you're doing, having used all sizes of chainsaws but for the average home owner with no experience, is it dangerous?
I don't know much about chainsaws but I'm wondering if the lack of power on the Saker 4 inch chainsaw vs the 6 inch Zeeksaw is because to have a longer bar and chain would require a stronger motor to run the longer chain? Does that make sense? I don't know much about physics, either. But if my assumption is correct, then, wouldn't it have been more fair to have compared two chainsaws of the same size?
Personally, based on your review, I would choose the Zeeksaw. I'm thinking of buying one someday.
I noticed on Amazon.ca, they have a newer version (2024) and it's description says it has an automatic oiler. You didn't mention on your review which version of Zeeksaw you had, (nor did you mention anything about oiling the chain or how it's done), so I'm assuming it wasn't the newest version (it may not have been released yet) which doesn't have an automatic oiler. I would think, based on my research, thus far, that having an automatic oiler would be a good thing because I forget whether you said it or someone else, but someone mentioned that you need to oil the chain every 4 or 5 cuts. I would find that rather tiresome after awhile. Still, having a unit like this would be much less of a workout for a senior, than a manual pruning saw.
Saker does have a 6inch saw now though… might have to do another comparison vid with that one
I'll contact them
Nice glad I chose zik
I bought the zeeksaw. Seems to be good but I haven’t used it much. I got tired of using a hand saw to trim small limbs and old okra and old vegetable stalks from my garden.
I hear ya....im sure the more you use it....you will realize how long it would've taken you if you didn't have it
I ordered myself the Zeeksaw
Saker do a 6” for a direct comparison
I'll write them
Are they both brushless?
Yes
@@The570Experience thank you 😉👍🤜
I just got the 4” Zeeksaw. You’re really testing 2 different products. My 4” Zeeksaw has the same blade as your blue one. The instructions say not to saw anything with a larger diameter than the blade. I’m hoping it will open my coconuts!😆
@joleevasquez4461 ...you're right...thats what the instructions say...im just demonstrating that you can saw bigger things
Why is my Zeeksawchain loose
Did you try to tighten it?
