Great DIY video. I'm not able to do little intricate work like this but I bet it's 100% worth it knowing you did it yourself.

Great video. I learned the lesson with cheap soldering irons while rewiring my strat. I burned out two pots because of old solder too. Thanks to UA-cam and some forums I was able to get a good tone, it was a five year project though.

Nice solid looking pedal and no doubt very satisfying to build your own.
I looked on the modkit website and they ain't cheap !
It'd be way cheaper to find a schematic with a parts list and buy the componets yourself. Also... they don't seem to have a kit for a delay, which is what I'd really like to build. Does anyone know of a website that has a free schematic and parts list for an analogue delay?
Great video though and a good insight into the building process..cheers

Gonna have to put one together myself. Please tell me what is the name of the song at about 5:20. I have heard it since I was a kid in old cartoons and it always reminded me of evil monster movies. Of course the version was completely different..... We used to have a saying at the Biomed shop when we had a piece of medical equipment that we were unfamiliar with came in for repair. "If at first you can't figure it out, read the manual".... Thanks and nice sounding piece of equipment you built up.

And that's a soldering iron! Soldering guns are for soldering pipes together and other high temp stuff.

Hey man, thanks for making this great video. Because of this video, I went ahead and purchased the same trem pedal kit and an overdrive kit. This will also be my first BYOC or DIY pedal. So how many pedals have you made since this one?
