- Earlier in the year, I reviewed LarryBoy and the Bad Apple for Playstation 2, and was left severely underwhelmed. However, the Game Boy Advance port lingered as practically an entirely different game. Can LarryBoy win over this grown ex-Christian on round 2?

Only playing the PS2 game as a kid makes it funny to know that the GBA version was a pretty ok mario vs donkey kong clone. Kid me always assumed the PS2 version of games were always the best.
It’s pretty wild when that happened, and they’re always fascinating. Justice League Heroes on PSP and JLH: The Flash on GBA are absolutely better experiences than the PS2 version, and Bionicle Heroes on Nintendo DS AND the GBA are waaaaay better than the ps2 version of that game too. I’ll eventually cover those examples on my channel too; I’ve currently only covered JLH: The Flash on here, and it was just on its own instead of in-context with the PS2 version since it’s decently different enough.

Sadly, I could not find the post myself. The idea that someone, presented with true posting freedom, was just like “Yeah, this’ll do!” is such a bizarre and amusing mental image to me.
