I like this vehicle, but I have concerns about the long-term durability of the wet timing belt. I've seen reviews of other Chevy cars that have this type of belt, like the Chevy Onix, and it seems they start to break around 50,000 miles.
7:25 Its nice to know this is one of the upcoming cars that stick with a more simple-straight forward design when it comes to A/C controls and the shifter being a handle as opposed to a switch. As opposed to what some such as modern subarus have, while Subarus are my favourite, I'm not a fan of certain controls having to go through an extra step of selecting the control app (at least that's what I recall from looking around)
Agreed. Some things should stay simple. I think Subaru has some of the best interior designs currently. But certainly some features that shouldn’t be difficult to get to. Thank you for watching as always!
I’m not too sure about that. As with any vehicle, there are some that are bad for whatever reason. I think this Trax is probably pretty solid. Thank you for watching!
My chart MSRP’s are the true starting price, meaning no options, and more importantly none of the fees that always even to find there way in. $25,500 could be right on if there’s options involved. Thank you for watching!
Bought one Thursday 9/26/24. Got the ACTIV and so far, like it.
Congrats! Thank you for watching!

And have a carbon buildup cleaning before 40,000 miles!
Do you know if the new Trax’s have improved in maintenance quality? I use to have a 2013 Chevrolet Trax and it was a money pit in maintenance cost.
I’m not too sure about that. As with any vehicle, there are some that are bad for whatever reason. I think this Trax is probably pretty solid. Thank you for watching!
My 2025 Trax LT are listed as $25,500 is that over MSRP compared to your numbers?

Just replace the timing belt before 75-80 ,000 miles!
Unfortunate to hear that. Good luck with the repairs. Thank you for watching!
