"RAISE YER PHONES!...Oh, you already have..."
Squire on fire is an absolute joy to listen to.
Great to be able to relive this with a near identical view to that which I enjoyed last night, and great to meet you in person James, thanks for chatting with us.
Thanks for the company!
Always nice to meet people when I’m at a gig on my tod 👍👍
Squire rules.
Thanks for the video. I was about eight rows in front of the desk. It was the first time ive seen Liam or John and absolutely loved it.
I've been to one gig in the last 3 years or so (Ride at Mcr Ritz) but is it normal to have that many phones out? Put your phones away guys n gals
There’s more chance of nailing jelly t ceiling
@@matthewdrake9699😂😂😂😂
Agree
I don't know why they don't ban phones from shows, but officially film it, then offer everyone who attended a download link for the video. Hundreds of people all having the same crap video isn't necessary. There's a better way of doing this.
My phone is firmly in pocket for the whole gig. Live the moment!!!
Man.
This is ridiculously good.
I was there would have said hello if I knew you was there love the content.
Thanks, maybe see you at the next one
Great gig, I was there too with my better half. Liam and John were both on top of the game. Jake Bugg was brilliant too.
Easy to be on top of your game when you write naff lazy guitar solos these days. Second Coming 4.5 out of 5. This is about a 1.5.
A lot of bad reviews.. not sure what I’m missing.. I was at the Dublin gig, was epic atmosphere and a brilliant gig.. short, sure.. but not an issue, loved it.
oh really! how short was it?
@@OSWI was at the Newcastle gig and it was just less than an hour. I think the average has been 55 minutes for these gigs
People are moaning about the length of the gig. I can't imagine seeing Liam again in such a small venue so personally I loved it.
I’m sure if there’s a second album which is rumoured to be coming and the tour with that one would be 15+ songs to choose from
@@philharrison5 yeah man, my thoughts exactly.. I was blown away to be so close to Liam and John in such a small venue as the Olympia in Dublin. Usually looking at a small speck in the distance in the big venues. The atmosphere at the gig was amazing too. I loved it. I know the argument is about how expensive the tickets were for a 50min set, but, again, Its a very rare experience and the tour had sold out in 30 seconds.
Please James might you review the full album and the gig ?
How good is this band
Sounds like a pub band. A good pub band, mind.
Phone audio will never do the mix justice
You go to some f-ing good pubs!
Tell us which pub?
"Raise Your Phones"
Reminds me of the solo at the end of Happiness is egg shaped
Liam’s voice is brilliant, back to 1998-2000 levels
His range isn't quite where it was then, but it is miles better than it has been since probably 2002, and his tone is excellent, lots of power and rasp! I really do think he is self-conscious about his voice, and is indeed taking better care of it now
Sounds crap mate time to have a word with your mind. Desperate stuff.
@@CasualGameDev He does take care especially before a tour, he grew up did Liam wants to give value for money.
Hasbeens reliving their glory days. Nostalgia but nothing else
What did the scarf symbolise though?
Good question.
Football I think it’s a Manchester City scarf or Newcastle fans give it to him,. Didn’t Elvis used to do that then throw it back to the audience.. Liam gives it back to the fan
It wasn’t a football scarf and he brought it on stage with him. It was a shemagh, he didn’t give it to anyone I was at the gig. You basically just made up an answer.
How was it? The reviews I've seen of the gigs so far don't seem great.
Biblical shite?😁
It was great. They played the whole album, many extended versions, and the presence of Squire seemed to affect the vibe in an interesting way. Didn’t see anyone doing coke, flinging pints or throwing punches. Everyone just stood back to listen and appreciate. I really enjoyed it.
Yeh i have also read some negative comments I don’t know what they seeing different. It was absolute brilliant performance I thought the songs sound better live than the album. As soon as the 1st song just another rainbow came on everyone was singing to it. Excellent performance 👍
@@JamesHargreavesGuitaryou seeing Noel this year?
@@JamesHargreavesGuitardoes people do coke in plain sight? Or throw punches? Wtf . British people are strange af
Is this the Carling Academy?
Just don't get why everyone films it when it will be uploaded anyway , just spoil the gig for yourself
Amazing Liam & John
i felt like that should of been played in 1.5
biblical
Saturday afternoon pub garden band
Broony needs to join with Noel and play oasis roses hits
Liam is a far better singer than Ian Brown and Squire is a far better guitarist than Noel. If we had Reni on drums this would be out of this world.
I thought it was you stood not that far behind me, excellent gig though
Lots of "gig auditors" there 😮
I dont think liams loveing it from what ive seen on the vids but thats just my opinion.
I don’t think your spelling’s great but that just my opinion
I'm not surprised. The songs are shit!
There's usually more guitars and liam likes a big sound so I agree

The fuck does the drummer have two hi hats
Terrible album.
Because you’d know
If its like this silly song then yeah must be.
@@stuarthossack5351pretty much is, not bad, just bland
Am I the only one who doesn’t think that the drummer fits with band? Find the drumming weak 😮
I don’t know who the drummer or the bass player is. I’m used to Liams own band so find it odd.
roger waters drummer
i think he i very jazzy. but adds smt interesting with fills and fancy stuf. has a nice groove too
@@user-oh7iv3ij5xthe bass player is Little Barrie by the looks of it. Actually a better guitarist than Squire, not sure why he’s on bass?
You think Squire's going to let him play his lines?? He's not better than John.
Yeah could of found a better drummer surely, the drummer with liams solo stuff is better I agree
“Show me the money”……John Squire 2024. I hope Gallagher avoids future collaborations. This song is light weight!😫
