Woowoowow tell me when you upload :D I'm so excited how you will review it 😅 *Update: just finished watching, I totally forgot about the footage of us working together :D It was a great time having you in the shop. I'm completely amazed and relieved about the thick crema you pulled out of the machine.*
Make sure to hit like, share, etc if you enjoyed! this video took a lot of time, effort, and money to make. All support is super appreciated! And go give Dr. Beer a sub!!!
Thank you for the shout out!!! So glad I was able to get a pump over to you guys - there isn't a more deserving machine than this beauty, and I don't think there is a better pump than the FG304 for a super high-end espresso machine. FANTASTIC work on the restoration @NTRprojects - this is a sight to behold! I love everything about this project and am honored to have gotten to play a very small part in it :)
incredible! when I look at the initial phase of the restoration, the cleaning, the screws that had to be redrilled, and all the other "surprises", it became obvious that this is a labor of love for you both. Congrats on persevering and creating a beautiful restoration!
Christmas came early this year! Thanks for this amazing gift Lance! Absolutely gorgeous machine! If only I lived in Portugal and could get a nice Ristretto from your upcoming barista shift. Cheers! I hope you brew something tasty!
wainting for this video since @NTRprojects posted the restoration.... i was really excited when i realised that the machine was a colab with you.... thanks a lot for this....
Beautiful restoration and machine. I also never knew those Bluetooth transducers existed. That's gone straight to the top of my Santa list. Thanks Lance!
I’ve been waiting for this video for so long! At the time I thought it would be great if you got to test it but it wasn’t until after the video I found out it was going to you. I was so excited! Still am and I’m only up to 2:41 at this point!
A beautiful restoration. Look forward to seeing it in use pulling shots! As a newcomer here, I've been fascinated by that Faema Marti single-group, always sitting behind you, seemingly unused and neglected. Would love to see multiple shots being pulled on that beauty on some future episode. Regards.
I originally watch the restoration video on Dr. Beer then I saw the logo he made for you. That took me back and I took a second look to confirm it was for you. I looking through your channel and I couldn't find the video but you finally released it :). I knew someone experienced in espresso was interested due to the IMS shower screen lol. I'm eagerly looking forward to your next video on it!.
Now, a series on restored espresso machines would be absolute dynamite. Heck, I MIGHT even get UA-cam premium for that Lance content. Just saying (whispers: *please do this*)
Amazing video like always, can I suggest you make a video about motoring hand grinders? There are a few options out there but I consider them very pricey for what you're getting and if there's a economic version of them(a driller is out of the question because the rpm are so high it destroys your hand grinder in no time and it creates a lot of fines)
Just imagine how thorough a "my mechanics" YT channel espresso machine restoration would look like, what with all the new parts just up and being machined anew.
Lance! What an outstanding machine! Did you keep that boiler bolted or did you weld it for safety? If it's bolted, what's the pressure of the spring in the OPV?

I'm so jealous I wish Lance would pull thick crema out of my machine as well🥵
I'd have a hard time using that machine for fear that I'd mess up the glorious perfection. A museum piece, masterpiece ❤
I'm glad I'm not the only one obsessed with watching restoration videos before bed

I’m a fan of both Lance and the good Doctor Beers, so I’m super pleased with this collab ❤! Thank you both 🙏
That video should have come out on Christmas morning because it’s a freaking gift. So satisfying and impressive .
I cannot recommend more watching the restoration video. Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you mate
Lance drinking a dark roast ristretto for the video is MAD dedication! 😆
Thanks Jared
Such a beautiful machine with blue color and brass. And it even makes coffee! 🙂
I've watched the restoration. Nice work.
I nearly had a heart attack when I saw your name on the side panel in NTRs video. Absolutely excellent from him!
The color combination is absolutely FANTASTIC! Love it!! :)
incredible! when I look at the initial phase of the restoration, the cleaning, the screws that had to be redrilled, and all the other "surprises", it became obvious that this is a labor of love for you both. Congrats on persevering and creating a beautiful restoration!
It went from a workhorse coffee machine to an absolute work of art. Its stunningly beautiful now
What a lovely restoration and taste.
Cheers!
Beautiful machine, congrats to you both for bringing this back to life 🎉
Probably the most amazing restoration I've ever seen. The transformation is unbelievable. 😍🔥
What an amazing transformation! Restoring vintage machines is amazing 🤩
Очень красивая! Отличная работа! 🌺
Christmas came early this year! Thanks for this amazing gift Lance! Absolutely gorgeous machine! If only I lived in Portugal and could get a nice Ristretto from your upcoming barista shift. Cheers! I hope you brew something tasty!
Wow, that machine is gorgeous! Loving the blue and brass colour scheme. Great video
This is a lovely project, showcased beautifully in the video. I love the way you present coffee info :-)
wainting for this video since @NTRprojects posted the restoration.... i was really excited when i realised that the machine was a colab with you.... thanks a lot for this....
Finished product is beautiful. Well done Lance!
Sweet. Very nice. Really enjoyed the video and it is nice seeing old things restored. Tx for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful espresso art thanks for sharing and I loved Beer’s video too on the making of the machine he has such a grift! What a craftsman!
Amazing Lance! I love to see the combination of an antique espresso machine with some integrated modern tech parts. Congrats to this unique machine.
Fantastic. What a good looking machine, great restoration job. I love that dark roast flavour.
I've already seen the restoration and was waiting for your review which is, deservedly so, enthusiastic
Beautiful restoration and machine. I also never knew those Bluetooth transducers existed. That's gone straight to the top of my Santa list. Thanks Lance!
Absolutely gorgeous machine! Dr. Beer did an amazing job.
Bravo. Just discovered this channel today. Masterpiece. Great haircut, too!
Beautiful restoration. I love the mix of keeping it ls character while also updating the look and Technology
This is so cool! lovely machine and a fantastic restoration. please, do make more videos like this!:)
Very very very nice video. Well produced. Incredible restomod of this machine. It is beautiful.
love the restoration and appreciation for a machine that is meant to last lifetimeS (plural). We used to build things like that and can again...
Ace restoration! The machine looks superb.
Bedankt
The back of that machine is unbelievable 👌
Have seen the restauration its been a miracle. Thx to both of you to revive history
Omg that is such a gorgeous machine, Amazing work!

IT'S A MASTERPIECE 😎
Incredible build.
This is insane!! pure craftmanship

You are amazing ❤ that is a beautiful job 😮
What a beaut!
(The espresso machine looks good too.)
Beautifully redone! Love this!!!
What a beautiful video Lance, I'm going to see the all restoration process.
😍. Beautiful.
Keep the misspelling.
Beautiful video. Beautiful machine. Beautiful work.
Looks genuinly stuning, congrats on such a great project
This is just beyond amazing!
Wow that went stunning
Very cool. I too love this kind of thing.
It's so amazing what can be revived if given the right care!
Lance is looking more and more 4K HD each day, well done!
Beautiful! Maybe you need a slightly ticker silicon group gasket to prevent having to tighten so much the portafilter
Incredible!
What a nice machine!!! Excelent!
My brother in coffee , THIS IS YOUR AESTHETIC lance !
That blue and brass color combo is absolutely primo stuff.
so beautiful
Oh, Lance…
She’s a beauty!
10/10 no notes. So effin' pretty.
Now, a series on restored espresso machines would be absolute dynamite. Heck, I MIGHT even get UA-cam premium for that Lance content. Just saying (whispers: *please do this*)

Stunning work!
Awesome! Greetings from Stuttgart..!
I would do anything for a machine that beautiful 🤩
Stunning
Bravo on the new haircut!
Did the same pump modification with the exact model on my Oscar I. Best mod I ever made on an espresso machine. Flow control by knob also
Beautiful machine
I would like to know more about the E61 coating and what was used to paint the EMI logo.
Amazing man!🎉❤❤
30 mL/s would make my espresso machine jealous so I will have to watch that update in a different room.
What is the exact idea of having such a high flow rate? Can you explain? Thanks in advance
Just imagine how thorough a "my mechanics" YT channel espresso machine restoration would look like, what with all the new parts just up and being machined anew.
14:04 “You’re going to take out the flow restrictor inside the mushroom cap”
That’s what she said.
😂
Beeeeautiful!
looks great man thats awesome
Is the blue a powder coat? Did you check the everbright on the brass steam wand is food safe?
This is super cool
Ah heck yeah! 13:40
Is the Everbrite coating food safe? From what I'm seeing, only the Crobial Coat or Protecta Clear variants are advertised as such.
Lance! What an outstanding machine! Did you keep that boiler bolted or did you weld it for safety? If it's bolted, what's the pressure of the spring in the OPV?
Oh hell yeah
Mate, I'll drink that for you!😂
they basically built a new machine half way from scratch, damn that's wild
there’s a video series about an old ECM refurbishment that is so insane. Series never finished tho
i had a full exposed brass and copper pavoni and let me tell you brass looks even better when aged.
i polished it first and over 2 years or so it ages and looks much doper imho
Great work as always, buddy!
Now, yank that jiggler out!
(Also, where are my royalties for that footage of the Micra?)😅
Have at it. This video will make like 200 bucks over a one year period lol
That’s some super enthusiastic shaking, kind of at odds with Webers shake style.
Thoughts?
I have found the weber style shake is not optimal. I cover shaking in quite a few videos
I love the blue! What shade of blue is it?
Is there a way to fix the wording on the cup warmers?? 😢😢 I love the restoration, but I can't stop looking at scaldatazzi!!!
That's a beauty!! How much did it cost back in 1964?
Nice 💙
