Southern California, you must try the Salted Pepper wings at Golden Chopsticks. They have locations in Mira Mesa and National City. Although they’re not buffalo wings, they are so good that you won’t care. Easily the best wings I’ve ever had. Plump, juicy, tender and moist inside with an excellent crunch on the outside.
When you make it to Missouri or Kansas, stop here in the Kansas City metro! The Peanut is a local classic known for its wings. Thanks for another fantastic video!
@@mrdereksuttonPersonally, I wouldn't go that far. I think he's a solid UA-cam foodie that concentrates more on what the average person would consume, and the commenters really appreciate that fact.
I think you deserve an award because this is like the best food series I’ve ever seen on the Internet and you don’t have an unlimited budget. This is better than majority of what BuzzFeed has ever created.
Pyramid Bass Pro is pretty cool if you’re an outdoorsman. They have a ducks unlimited museum that’s got a lot of guns, calls and decoys. They also have a cool hotel in the pyramid.
Yea it’s crazy in both the best and worst way possible. I’m from Memphis and anytime someone comes to town for the first time I always take them there. It’s a good way to kill an hour or so before grabbing some food downtown. The whole center area is a large pond with bridges running over it where you can see some huge fish like alligator gar.
Also in Hattiesburg, MS is “American Wings and Cafe”. It’s located on 98 across from the Toyota dealership. Their hot honey bbq sauce is homemade. They use part of their Kimchi recipe for the hot sauce. This was a frequent visit for me years ago. Highly recommend.
Bro bro!! I live ATL (Wing Capitol) but I’m from OKLAHOMA. And I’m telling you, the best wings I’ve still ever had were from Oklahoma! Please visit either: Wing Supreme in Oklahoma City, OK (these are small wings, BUT if you order a 10pc, you get like 15. The flavor is insane. I get Honey Love) Mack’s Wings in Tulsa, OK (these are traditional sized, and my favorite flavors are Mack’s Rub & the Honey Heat-type sauce) Hnorable Mentions (these aren’t standard hot wings) Bobo’s Chicken: This is a food truck that only comes out at night on Saturdays. They smoke their wings, then fry them and toss them in honey. Tez Wings: These are Chicago style wings dusted in seasoning with a sauce on the side I’m telling you bro, these are the places to go! Hope you do! Love your content man!
Thanks for uploading today, Sam! I have really enjoyed this series. Your motto helped me get through the day. My dad had a stroke today following major surgery two days ago. I know it's going to be okay. God bless.
Shoutout to Chings and the honey gold wings. Feel like not enough people know about how good honey gold wings are. Hot honey gold is my personal favorite. All that rich sweetness but with a nice burn at the back end.
This series has been so much fun. One thing you definitely learn in the world of sauces and peppers is things do burn differently. That's why some pepper combos can make a sauce so much more devastating!
Not sure if you’ve been to Illinois yet, but I cook wings in Bloomington, Illinois at Tobins Pizza, 5 days a week. I’ve been watching you for about a year and a half (about as long as I’ve worked here), and I genuinely believe that you’re one of the most underrated UA-camrs out there. If you haven’t been to Illinois yet, you should definitely come by.
For Idaho: in Idaho Falls, ID the Frosty Gator. Nice local watering hole. Honourable mention of Macakenzie River Pizza Co (which may be a small chain) and the Celt Pub. Idaho Falls is located within a drive of Northern (Salt Lake City) Utah, Western Montana (Missoula) and Western (Jackson) Wyoming logistically it may also be good for the driving/travel.
If you’re still taking recommendations for Arkansas, I recommend the *smoked* buffalo wings from Whole Hog Barbecue in Fayetteville, but the catch is they’re only available on Saturdays and you better call ahead to make sure you can procure them!
I came here for the much anticipated Part 4 of this epic adventure, but walked away still laughing out loud over the Tiny Tim/Saban empty chair joke. Well done, Bravo ! Looking forward to Part 5 !
Fairley's in Hattiesburg is amazing in my opinion. And I know you were trying only wings but they have an "All-In" which is basically a fry, boneless wings, sauce, and ranch salad that blows just eating regular wings out of the water. Hope you enjoyed your time in Mississippi!
I made a recommendation for Meshikou Chikin in Columbus but they closed at the beginning of the year. The guys who ran it also has a ramen shop next door and they still sell wings there. If you find yourself in Columbus, Ohio, you should check them out. And if you're desperate to find something in Ohio. We have a regional chain called Roosters. I go to them quite a bit.
👋 I live in Buffalo; my husband and I are loving this series! We’ve tried them all here and our absolute favorite Buffalo wings that seems to be a hidden gem is at Belt Line Brewery. Can’t wait to see you come here!
I’m from Kentucky so I’ve been waiting for this episode for a long time. I’ve not been to the two restaurants you mentioned but I definitely want to try them out now. However, fun fact, I live in the town where KFC started.
Washington state recommendation: Wing Dome on Greenwood Ave Control: Extra wet #4s, perfect amount of heat and flavor Super spicy: Order one #7, you only need one Alternative rub/sauce: Jamaican Jerk, Triple Garlic or Flavor of the Month
Bruh I live in VA and u did my spot which is currently 2nd on list. And now here I am on a work trip drunk as hell in Nashville hungry and see this. Im trying brother Z’s in the am. Tha k u sir.
I lived in Alabama from 5 years old to 24(1975-1999) and I don’t think I ever had a wing. Had a few wings along the way to being 49 but you’ve definitely outdone my lifelong wing total in this video by a lot. Thanks for another great video! Your channel is wonderful. I just watched your video about why you say it’s going to be ok after watching this one and it touched me personally very much. I don’t understand so much in this world but what I do get from my faith is love, inclusion and hope. Thanks for your message.
Sam I’ve been a lifelong vegetarian but it never stops me from enjoying the brilliant work you’re doing on your channel. I look forward to you completing the entire country. Alaska and Hawaii are gonna be those big last ones . Big love brother
My aunt used to work near the original Baumhowers so I used to eat there a lot when I was younger. There was also another restaurant owned by Bob Baumhower called Bob's victory grille, but it was literally just the same thing with a different name. I still kinda love that place
North Dakota: The Parrots Cay in Grand Forks has excellent wings! Id try original buffalo, heat level about 15-20. Remember to ask for crispy. A secondary sauce people seem to like is called "Shark". Same heat level.
For Arkansas you absolutely have to come Chickn Headz in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It’s right off exit 62 on I-49. You have to try the hot honey mustard wings it’s amazing and super unique.
once again gonna recommend BuffaLouie's in bloomington indiana, some pretty good sauce selection and just overall a good vibe of the restuarant (USA Today once said this was one of the top 10 places to get wings, AND foursquare said it had the best wings in indiana)
Hey Sam! Since you're getting close, I want to recommend Chicken Lit in Naperville IL. They are a family run chicken wing spot that serves breaded wings. They're my absolute favorite in the state!
For Ohio you need to try Oak Tavern - Cincinnati. People come from miles around to have their wings either to sit in or takeaway at Oak Tavern. You’ll want to get your order in early on game days as they are seriously popular. The portions are big and they are made for sharing, so make sure to get a couple of friends involved with you. Their wings and a nice cold beer and you are pretty much set for the day.
As an Alabamian.. I can't believe they sent you to Baumhower's... Don't get me wrong, I like Baumhower's, but there are so much better places to get wings in Alabama.
Looks like you haven’t gotten around to the Great Lakes region, so I have a suggestion for Michigan. Sporty’s Wing Shack in Pinconning. They have a pile of house made flavors, including “suicide” hot wings. A waiver is required. We live in CA now, so it would be super cool to see something from home online.
For Arkansas if you’re going through Russellville there’s a hometown wing place called Daddy’s Smacking Wings that has regular wings and dessert wings. In Fayetteville foghorns is obviously what most places recommend but I think this small sports bar called Parker’s is way better.
For NY at the very end I suggest going to Rochetser for Jeremiah’s Tavern or MacGregors. Not sure how they’ll stack up overall but they’re pretty big ones for Rochester.
Dang, cool to see you visit Tuscaloosa. There's a fantastic place here if you stop by again called Catfish Heaven that has a really fantastic wing sauce. The wings themselves are kinda scrawny but the sauce gets sold by the container.
Posting again. For when you happen to visit Wisconsin. Chicken Licks, Sun Prairie, WI And, Points East Pub, Milwaukee, WI These are the two best places I've found in the state.
I really enjoy this wing series. Dedication is pulling off these huge trips while you work full time (probably not much longer seeing the way this channel is taking off though).
If you haven't filmed the Midwest already, you should go to Buffa Louie's in Bloomington, IN. Once rated top 10 wings in the nation! Iconic spot at The Gables, you should definitely check it out

When you're in Texas, a wing place I really love is called pluckers, a place with big wings and tons of flavors to choose from. Another little hole in the wall I enjoy is called Q, big wings with some amazing flavors for an even better price. If you're ever in the area, definitely try it out :)

Illinois...must go to Crisp!! You won't be disappointed!

That Bass Pro shop pyramid always gets me .😂
there's a restaurant at the top, for a second I thought he was going up for the wings. they have damn good burgers up there
@rowdyjr2318they took the islamorada fish co away from the one in fort myers even tho we are only 3 hours away from the original one in islamorada

Loving this series! The time and dedication that goes into creating something this well polished and travelled must be insane. Thanks so much, Sam!
Thanks for stopping by Tuscaloosa! Honored to have had our city graced by the best content creator in the game!
There’s no reason why you should ONLY have 49K views in 2 days!! Keep up with the outstanding videos Sam! Always love watching em!!

This series is UA-cam gold. Watch how this series ages….it’s already a classic!!!!
Fell asleep to Sam's video the other day. Not in a rude way, his voice is...calming lol. Love the video!
In the Dallas area its Duff's Famous Wings in Southlake. For a bonus spot you should definitely try Korean wings at No. 1 Plus Chicken in Carrollton
9:57 my mouth started watering just reading those keywords from the Google reviews
This series has been so much fun. One thing you definitely learn in the world of sauces and peppers is things do burn differently. That's why some pepper combos can make a sauce so much more devastating!

I'm so happy you are getting more and more following and traction by the day, you absolutely deserve it. Been watching for a while now!
This feels odd to say, but your cadence of speech is exactly what I want in a youtube video. Also, enjoying the content.
The amount of work you put in to make such a high quality video really reflects in the end product. I appreciate you and your work, Sam.
If you’re still taking recommendations for Arkansas, I recommend the *smoked* buffalo wings from Whole Hog Barbecue in Fayetteville, but the catch is they’re only available on Saturdays and you better call ahead to make sure you can procure them!
For Louisiana, go to Empire Wings in Baton Rouge or Valley Wings. Pluckers will show up but they started in Austin, Tx.
Such a cool series Sam, so proud of your growth. It always warms my heart hearing you say "it's going to be okay"
another banger, one of the most consistent youtubers out there with such a varied selection of videos. keep killing it sam
I like this guy because you can tell he’s all in. Crazy attention to detail
I just found your channel a couple months ago and i’ve watched almost all of your videos everytime you upload i get a big smile on my fave
I wouldn't call Roosters desperate. They are very good.
CM chicken is right down the road from where Meshikou is, that place is pretty damn good too
I love the more engines shirt!! You and Preston are my two favorite creators!
👋 I live in Buffalo; my husband and I are loving this series! We’ve tried them all here and our absolute favorite Buffalo wings that seems to be a hidden gem is at Belt Line Brewery. Can’t wait to see you come here!
When you go to New York, you should try to hook up with Hot Ones and first we feast to take on the wings of death!
Lol he hes goes to nyc instead of Buffalo this whole channel is a fraud.
I’m from Kentucky so I’ve been waiting for this episode for a long time. I’ve not been to the two restaurants you mentioned but I definitely want to try them out now. However, fun fact, I live in the town where KFC started.
Corbin Kentucky! I stopped there on a trip through Kentucky. fun little town
Mommas is really good, you gotta try
I’ve been to that original KFC location. Saw the highway sign and stopped there on a road trip.
It was pretty cool!
Another amazing video. These are truly some of the highest quality videos I’ve seen on UA-cam in a while.
Washington state recommendation:
Wing Dome on Greenwood Ave
Control: Extra wet #4s, perfect amount of heat and flavor
Super spicy: Order one #7, you only need one
Alternative rub/sauce: Jamaican Jerk, Triple Garlic or Flavor of the Month
Bruh I live in VA and u did my spot which is currently 2nd on list. And now here I am on a work trip drunk as hell in Nashville hungry and see this. Im trying brother Z’s in the am. Tha k u sir.
From Memphis, could not be happier my city said chings and central. Both excellent.
This is my favorite series on the channel! This is a nice break from the same old food reviews I see on UA-cam
As a North Mississippi resident, i can confirm we all just go to chings in Memphis when we want wings 😂
I lived in Alabama from 5 years old to 24(1975-1999) and I don’t think I ever had a wing. Had a few wings along the way to being 49 but you’ve definitely outdone my lifelong wing total in this video by a lot. Thanks for another great video! Your channel is wonderful.

Walkons is actually a chain/multi-location restaurant. I believe the first one was in Baton Rouge, LA
I Salute you on this quest - Wish you spent more time in Rhode Island or PA, you are doing America quite a service!
Minnesota try D-spot
Name of wings
1.witch doctor (hottest)
2. Buffalo/buffalo bill(adds blue cheese)
3. Reese’s or French toast (your choice)
I second D-Spot
I would add twist(lemon pepper) and tarantula for flavors to try
Nothing like wing sauce pain, man I could feel the heat thru the screen. Awesome vid love this series.
For Indiana you should go to Bloomington and go to buffalouies
saw this notification at work, immediately watched it when i got home. always looking forward to your videos sam :)

the backfield sports bar and grill in Walnut, IA!
This channel is so awesome, one million by the end of the year for sure.
For Michigan I recommend visiting DWC or wing snob
Here in Lubbock, Texas there is a small restaurant owned by a Korean lady who sells pretty good wings. Kokio Chicken.
For Ohio you need to try Oak Tavern - Cincinnati. People come from miles around to have their wings either to sit in or takeaway at Oak Tavern. You’ll want to get your order in early on game days as they are seriously popular. The portions are big and they are made for sharing, so make sure to get a couple of friends involved with you. one of the only channels I got notifs on. Awesome quality Sam!!
My favorite series of your channel!
Don't live there anymore, but I remember Crisp in Chicago, IL having some amazing wings while I was still there.
If Sam isn't considered one of the world's premier authorities on hot wings after this tour, I'll be upset 😠🔥
For Arkansas if you’re going through Russellville there’s a hometown wing place called Daddy’s Smacking Wings that has regular wings and dessert wings. In Fayetteville foghorns is obviously what most places recommend but I think this small sports bar called Parker’s is way better.
Have you had Chick’n Headz in Fayetteville? They’re my absolute FAVORITE! Absolutely love their wings
Avsolutley loving this series. Would love to see another one where u look for the best burgers or pizza or something like that!!! AMAZING CONTENT!!
For Louisiana, you have Kajun Kidd Burgers and Wings in Thibodaux! Like I don’t even comment on videos but you have to go to this place!
This is one of the best series on UA-cam
Just a reminder for when you get to Buffalo: you gotta try the Cajun Honey Butter BBQ wings from Bar-Bill Tavern from the East Aurora location
His videos are so good, i enjoy watching the sponsorship adds.
Man, I've been watching damnear all your videos over the last week or so. Really enjoy the style of them.
Loving the series Sam. When you get to Texas, you gotta try Wayne's Wings in San Antonio.

This series is exactly what the wing community needs !! Keep up the great work!
Great series ! I’m trying to figure out how you went to 3 states in day , amazing!
Glad you enjoyed baumhowers! Hope you had fun in t-town
Can’t wait till this channel blows up even more 🎉
I really enjoy this wing series. Dedication is pulling off these huge trips while you work full time (probably not much longer seeing the way this channel is taking off though).
Going to J Timothy’s for my birthday this week…dirt wings!! Woot! Woot!!
You have to try KOK in Lafayette La, they just do it differently there and you won’t be disappointed!
Great video!! Love the series so far!!!
Check out Jim's Wings in Fort Collins, Colorado! That's my favorite spot here.
You need to hit up Firehouse Pub & Grill and get the garlic parm when you roll through Idaho (Boise)
If you haven't filmed the Midwest already, you should go to Buffa Louie's in Bloomington, IN. Once rated top 10 wings in the nation! Iconic spot at The Gables, you should definitely check it out
Absolutely love these wing videos, the devotion to the craft is insane! Keep it up man!
I hope when you do New York you explore downstate, not just Buffalo. I mentioned it earlier but I’m confident in saying Candlelight Inn in Scarsdale, NY has the best wings along the Hudson River valley. They’re known for their Hot/Teriyaki mixed wings, absolutely to die for!
When you're in Texas, a wing place I really love is called pluckers, a place with big wings and tons of flavors to choose from. Another little hole in the wall I enjoy is called Q, big wings with some amazing flavors for an even better price. If you're ever in the area, definitely try it out :)
