On my 2011 Focus it's a little different. In the key fob there's an actual metal key to use in case of need. It should open the driver door too, if the car battery is completely flat. Never tested but I hope it works.
I replaced the batteries and keys and advised me to be a jerk, now if I try this I will need to scan the key better. It happens to me that when I stop Detecting the key while driving, the emergency mode pops up and my throttle does not work. I have to stop and start again 🤦🏻♂️
Do you have the key in the center console as shown in the video? If not, put it there and try again. If you have replaced the battery then the key fob may be going bad and needs to be replaced.
@@miscadventurescaughtonvide9408 I used to put the key in the water compartment or under the panel where there is also space. I started to put his armrests where there is room for him and everything is ok. I don't understand why I have such a weak receiver / transmitter just a few centimeters away and it's already stupid 🤦🏻♂️. It's absolute nonsense, it drove me crazy.
Thanks for watching the video. It worked every time for me. I even commuted to work for a week this way, before I could get into the dealership to get a new key fob. You must be facing a different issue. I hope you get it figured out.
That’s that sorted sir now the sensor behind the rear view mirror where the cameras and Binet release warning msgs get picked up from ,they all go to the cars computer so diagnose if that’s clean as it was possible someone was in the car at night as I noticed that the closing tabs would not allow me to get it closed tightly the way it should be!! Hunting we go on yet for a vid on this sensor or these sensors .the multi plug could be slack or just not ligned up whenever a human’s removed it through the night when it was parked up!! I use the car for helping myself,I am disabled and my more disabled friend so it’s really important for reliability issues, cheers again ✌️👍
this video could have been 30 seconds
Sometimes this will happen on my 2014 Ford Cmax Energi

No luck for me. I used 2 fobs and new batteries. 🤬
Were they new fobs?
If new fobs then they need to be programmed. Hope you get it sorted out.
NOPE! I’ve tried that 2 out of 3 times it happened to me.
