#ssbadger #submarine #usscobia @dnasbirdingadventures heads out for a big #birding road trip with our #vanlife Annie Van. We’ll head through Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin & Michigan. We’re not sure which way we’ll head home yet. These are new roads and we’re finding some new birds for our 2024 bird list! What beautiful country! So far we’ve found excellent #wisconsin #birdingwatching , #hiking trails, and #campgrounds !

This is a Special Edition and tour from Manitowoc, Wisconsin’s Wisconsin Maritime Museum, USS Cobia Submarine, and the SS Badger as we take our van across Lake Michigan. It saves us 200 miles. She was have a bit of motor trouble when we reached Michigan. She’s on the road again thanks to the Ludington mechanic. OF COURSE WE’RE BIRDING TOO! We found another bird for our 2024 list while waiting for the ferry!
