@@KobricTV Thank you so so much!!!! I Really Appriciate that... Btw i found a better hook on the maket recently and i will never go back. I Use them for everything now, Exspecially the mouse tails... They def are the only hooks i use for trout noW. Check them out!! I think your love them too!! Thank you so much again!!!!
I love this technique. I pop-pop all the time! Another cool way is with the smaller slip sinker (so it doesn't get hung up on bottom as much), you can slow-reel it in after letting it sink. Just a very slow reel in and it drags that weight on the bottom to send up a bit of sediment to get those trout-o's attention! It'll give the mouse-tails movement. Usually I use the small trout worms.
Ohhhhhhhh yea BUDDY!!!!!!!!!! I Exspecially LIKE to pop pop it in the part of the lake that got a sandy bottom with drop off!!! They cant resist it!!! So glad there is another mind out there doing the same awesome technic!!! Oh and yea ik about a smaller weight this is my older video.. I have an updated version of how too here and talk about smaller weights. ua-cam.com/video/u5wRX-On_M0/v-deo.html
@@LipRipperFishing215 I caught two brookie girls yesterday with that pop-pop! One with a natural trout worm and one with an orange one. Pop-pop, let it sit, slow reel to give it some movement? I have some mouse tails from a while back and I'm gonna try those too now that I watched this video. Usually I use the trout worms and run them up a small aberdeen hook. I run those worms up over the eye of the hook too and onto a bit of the line. That's my stealth-mode. Just that hook point exposed (comes out about the middle of the worm). Perfection.
Ohhhhhh yea dawg!!! That arbedeen way is a killer brother!!! Yea just worms work great as you say too!!! I think the way you do it be best for the brookie girls too.. More natural but them rainbows love that colorful crap lolol mouse tail power all DAY!!!
I have a question. Can you use a 1/64 oz jig head on a mice tail and would it wreck the presentation ? I been looking for a size 12 hook or 10 would you know any online that sells them ? Thanks Mike from Canada
Ohhh man yea i think that would work great also!!!! The tail would be going all crazy still!! I think that a great idea! Ohh and yea there is a hook a found about 2 years ago that now i only use. Do you notice if other colors get more attention on clarity of the water. The stuff I'm fishing is light tan. I'm having pretty good luck on magnum eggs but I want to give these a try.
@Mike ustan Your saying your water is light tan right?... And i bet you do do good the eggs!! I do killer on the magnum eggs.... Anyway, to your question!!.. Ive never actually thought about that, i do for bass think that way though! BUTTTTT What i can say about them and i hope this will help you figure it out ive never fished them in tan water yet... My lake is really CLEAR and rocks but has super big green weed vine patches that grow from bottom of lake up some are 14 foot long in areas. So picturing that, in the spring when them vines and greenery starts I've found it to be very successful with the green egg/Orange tail ones, i tried that color mouse tail first because the lemon lime color magnum eggs match the greenery at my lake and are killer in spring like 30 Trout a day average... But also after it rained in spring ive found the orange egg/green tail did some damage and also some on the white egg/orange tail.... Now but in the begining of fall and fall at the same lake i have noticed a change in colors they wanted, they started licking the white egg/Pink tail and.... The reason i started trying the pink and white mouse tail, was because my lake in winter they love the white magnum eggs with blue spec... And or the white and pink swirl magnum eggs and so this is my opinion, if i was you I'd try the same colors around that you would in the magnums as you would in mouse tails.. And or atleast have the EGG of the mouse tail the sameish color of the magnum eggs you use... I REALLY HOPE this will help you decide better and it will help you get them LICKS and RIP them LICKS with ease!!!

Hey man great video! Quick question - I am planning on using the same rig, but do not have a slip sinker only the egg sinkers. Is it necessary to put a bead to stop the weight from hitting the swivel? I've always wondered about this.
Thanks my DUDE!!!! I APRRICIATE THAT!!. Okay for your question is concerned. I have never used the bead application to separate the sinker and the swivel for trout fishing.. Even when i use a bullet weight or when i used to use egg sinkers. The only reason i switched to a bullet weight from a egg sinker is because it was easier for me to find at the store by me the 1/4th weight in a bullet shape. I Have been using this same set up with out a bead for bottom fishing for trout for atleast 12 years and never had a problem with out the bead... The reason ppl use the bead is so the knot dont fray from the weight hitting.. But out of all the years of me doing it ive never had that issue... 'BUT!!! For instance' there is '2' different equations that i DO.. The first one is if the sinkers 'hole' no matter the shape of the weight can fit over the swivel or just enough that the weight can get stuck on that swivel then it cant slide and would defeated the sliding weight mechanism.... The second reason i would add bead is when i am River Fishing... Because im using atleast a 3oz egg sinker and i feel that amount of weight on the knot could do some damage and or that amount of weight coming down on that swivel can make the lead sinkers hole bigger and eventually get stuck on the swivel.. Well i truly hope this this helps you with your question and will get you more LICKS and RIP more LIPS!!! Keep on doing you Doggy Bone!!!!
