They never disappoint. It's not like they are super technical or crazy. But they have heavy riffage, stomping drums, great vocals, and huge sound! Kudos to Nikolas on his production work on all their songs.
yeah I feel like the heavy/loud riffs are a part of their sound now, or at least for the songs I have saved on my playlist (Open Eye, 1-2 others from 2021 album, Flight of the Fireflies which is probably my favourite)
Bro I discovered this band like a month ago, and it’s been on repeat on my playlists. I can’t believe they are not bigger than they currently are!! Insane talent, I truly hope they get a major label to help them expand their live shows and bigger arenas, because they can deliver that too
I love orbit culture, but I kind of feel the same about Bleed from Within. Or this newly started Norwegian band called Hypermass. If you like the Swedish sounding melodic with some death thrown in, then they are great!
@@fredrikfjeld1575 Orbit and Bleed are my 2 favs for “newer” metal bands…Bad Omens for alt metal….This coming from a guy that grew up with Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Exodus…lol
I was beginning to think you wouldn't do this reaction but glad to see I was wrong. Can't wait to see what you think! It's a true banger. The full experience of Orbit Culture wrapped into one metal af package.
I was at the same tour a few months ago. I got to meet them at that concert in Salt Lake City and man they are the nicest people ever. I got a guitar pick from Richard cause he found out it was my first concert and man that was the coolest thing ever. I hope to meet them again some day. They of course sounded fantastic.
Orbit Culture: You never know what you're going to get for a song but you know it's going to be fantastic. You listen to 5 songs from OC and you know exactly 5 songs because they always do something with their songs that you can't predict. Love it!
I just love this song. Also loved Vultures and love that they show totally different sides of them - but are still clearly them. So stoked for the new album, I have been listening to Nija so much it's not even healthy lol😂
Thanks for introducing me to this awsome band from Eksjö, only 12 miles from my home town of Nässjö, Sweden! I can´t belive I never heard of them before, such a great band and song! Thanks Tank!
Orbit Culture are awesome. I saw them live when they opened for Avatar in May (good to see they are opening for them again, even if I can't make it this time around). Their sound is so good and mind blowing. It's good to see that they are getting more exposure in the states again with the upcoming tour and I can't wait for the new album!
I noticed two things with this song straight away when i first saw it. The line "It all crashes down..." and it's delivery are straight up from King Nothing by Metallica and some of the visuals towards the end remind me of the artwork for Load. Nik's subconscious is either sentient and he has no control over it or he straight up embraces his fandom for Hetfield and loves to show it. Regardless, this song is a fucking banger.
What? How old are you? They are nothing like shitty Metallica. At least since Load. Anything from And Justice For All is commercial Shit anyway. I believe you have not heard real metal the way it’s supposed to be besides this Cookie Monster shit.
thw only sad thing that thwy are definitely not metal :p Smeared guitar sound, rudimental song structures, 80s German pop-like choruses - this ain't metal. This is fucking Modern Talking with distorted but awful sounding/mixrr guitats.
Just an epic song and a shout out to you Tank for helping me discover them and with your call outs on the review of picking up some of the extra details to the instrumentation just truly awesome keep it up loving everything you are doing
This band was my most played on Spotify last year and, with this promising new album coming up, I doubt this year will be much different. I teared up when I listened to this song for the first time, because they just keep bringing it! Orbit Culture Podcast when? 😉
My biggest regret of 2022 was not catching them live at Aftershock and only by chance when i checked out the Aftershock Spotify list. Without a question my favorite heavy band these days. Fucking chills when i heard Strangler
First time hearing the band - the chorus reminds me so much of the songs "Alone" and "Shatters Within" from "Am Universum" by Amorphis, and it's been a good 15 years since I least hear that. Will definitely be following their music!
I've got no idea how they release so many new material so consistently. It also feels like each release is an improvement from the last even when I think that can't be possible. Easily my favourite modern band
Descent is going to be so amazing! I'm so excited. I feel exactly the same as you - this band seems tailored to my tastes exactly. I've never been this blown away by any band ever. Not even a mediocre song from them IMHO, let alone bad!
Sounds intresting, I will check them out. Another release I am very excited about is Skalmöld from Iceland, preordered as soon as I got the news. (Release 18th of August)
Thank you for the reaction. Oh now im more excited for the upcoming Brutal Assault festival in our republic and my first time seeing them aliiiiive yahaha
Over 10000 views in just four ours, thats quite good for a reaction video 14 days after the reliase of the song. There must be allmost 100 reactions made for it and i havet seen so many for some time. The song was also single release of the week in Metal Hammer.
"Nonsense" comment for the algorithm: Usually the metal songs you react to are a bit heavier/different than the stuff I listen to (a lot of prog and goth metal, some doom, also some black metal lately as well; favorite band of all time is Katatonia), so I haven't heard any of them, but I have actually heard this one! It was on my Spotify "New Music Friday" or whatever the list is called in English, and I really REALLY liked them! It's the first song I've heard from them and I've been meaning to check out more.
..... Thank you.... I have become a big fan of yours and just happened to be watching this video last night .... Suddenly, my wife came into the room and asked who it was playing... I said Orbit Culture.... She normally hates metal.... But, she said, "This song makes me think of Nadja". Nadja was my stepdaughter, who lost her battle with depression and opioid addiction a week before her 19th birthday in January. So, once again.... Thank you for what this video meant to my wife......
Ive listened a lot of songs of them.. because i like to watch reactions! I never liked it that much.. to be honest.. but this song is so huge!❤ even one of the best songs ive heard this year so far. How crazy is that?
Album drops right before my birthday, gives me plenty of time to play the hell out of it before seeing them live again in September. Seeing them with Fit For An Autopsy and In Flames was memorable. I'm hoping its just as good seeing them with Avatar.
I had never heard these guys til this video. So from the bottom of my metal heart, thanks Tank. Gonna get this album and the rest of their discography now 🤘🏻
I started listening to these guys about 2 years ago and regret missing their tour. It's been such a delight finding your channel and Orbit Culture videos. So jealous you got to hang out with them and have a good ol' American backyard BBQ.
Honestly I'm a bit disappointed it is not a full reaction video, but given your circumstances I completly understand. Just me wanting my favorite reactor reacting to my favourite band. And I'll take anything you throw at us ;)
I found out about Orbit Culture a couple years ago and I was blown away at how amazing they were! I don't understand how they're not more well-known. I love how the singer sounds like a prime James Hetfield.
We are all ONE with Orbit Culture.
Yes! :')
Aye!
Yes sir😊
I'm in.
YES!!
It really warms my metal heart that so many out in the metal world appreciate all our bands from the cold north.🤘
Scandinavia and metal really just.. Goes well together. Not sure why, but it seems to be a fact at this point lol.
Old bay area metal guy here and imo Swedish bands have dominated since the 90s
And there are many of them…. Its like if they do something, they take it seriously! 🤘🏼
Keep it heavy, please.
Well, we are pretty depressed up here, so metal is an outlet for us.
Hence, the brutal metal. 😉
What do you mean by "super technical"? Cause they have some fast riffs that need a good right hand. Mast of the world (insanse), Saw, Descent
"epic" is a good description, in the original meaning of a saga recited in a dark low hall filled with sweaty people. Amazing stuff!
Bro I discovered this band like a month ago, and it’s been on repeat on my playlists. I can’t believe they are not bigger than they currently are!! Insane talent, I truly hope they get a major label to help them expand their live shows and bigger arenas, because they can deliver that too
I was alive for Reign in blood and I'm alive for Orbit Culture. I try not to miss a metal beat. 40 years of metal strong.
Metal will always survive....
That’s what I’m talking about
They are everything i want in metal, combined into one band.
The absolute greatest band to come out the past two decades, for me atleast
I couldn’t agree more.
Blood Incantation, no questio
Throw SYLOSIS in this discussion as well.
I love orbit culture, but I kind of feel the same about Bleed from Within. Or this newly started Norwegian band called Hypermass.

Due 2 your reactions i found tthis band. Since then they are on heavy rotation. So Thank you Tank!
Thanks, I've heard of them but never actually heard them. I might be a new fan!!🤘
I was beginning to think you wouldn't do this reaction but glad to see I was wrong. Can't wait to see what you think! It's a true banger. The full experience of Orbit Culture wrapped into one metal af package.
I habe seen Orbit culture last Month on Reload Festival in Germany
That was a f*cking great Performance!
Saw Orbit Culture with Scar Symmetry, The Halo Effect and headlined by Meshuggah. It was an EXCELLENT night. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
This band is everything. Can't get enough.

Very nice... Somewhat on par with Amon Amarth another excellent band from Stockholm, Sweden... Very nice....
Orbit Culture: You never know what you're going to get for a song but you know it's going to be fantastic. You listen to 5 songs from OC and you know exactly 5 songs because they always do something with their songs that you can't predict. Love it!
Thanks for introducing me to this band. I just bought tickets to see them with Machine Head. Cannot fucking wait!
I just love this song. Also loved Vultures and love that they show totally different sides of them - but are still clearly them.
So stoked for the new album, I have been listening to Nija so much it's not even healthy lol😂
Same here! Nija all the time in my car LOL
Thanks for introducing me to this awsome band from Eksjö, only 12 miles from my home town of Nässjö, Sweden! I can´t belive I never heard of them before, such a great band and song! Thanks Tank!
🤘🤘🤘
De spelade på Almenäs för ett par år sen.
Orbit Culture are awesome. I saw them live when they opened for Avatar in May (good to see they are opening for them again, even if I can't make it this time around). Bangar as always, you can never go wrong with OC!!!!
I cannot state how much I love this band. Cannot wait to see them again in September.
Dude finally!! I’ve been waiting for this reaction!!!! Let’s go 🔥🔥🔥
Definitely a new fan from watching this, great stuff!
Banana! And thank you for introducing me to OC, they've quickly become one of my favorites.
His cleans reminded me of Hetfield's.
yup....and there are few shots of a Papa Het signature ESP Snake byte in this video to boot
What? How old are you? They are nothing like shitty Metallica. At least since Load. Anything from And Justice For All is commercial Shit anyway. I believe you have not heard real metal the way it’s supposed to be besides this Cookie Monster shit.
Can’t wait for the album, luckily for us it’s almost here! 🤘🏻🔥
6:00 onwards gave me chills! F*cking epic 🤘🏼😈🤘🏼
I just can't fkn wait to see them on tour with Trivium and Bleed From Within in few weeks... this is going to be so sick I can't even put it to words
This album will be amazing. Already preordered it the first day that was possible
Which one did you order?? I got the black with red splatter.
@@TankTheTech Oh, I don't collect Vinyl. Just a shirt and CD for me
6:40 ! indeed, excellent pick up! 🤘
Never heard of them yet.. Excited
If it wasn't for your channel I never would have known about this band and now there one of my favorites.
Orbit culture is definitely a great band. Love the riffs and structure of the songs. Pounding.
thw only sad thing that thwy are definitely not metal :p
Smeared guitar sound, rudimental song structures, 80s German pop-like choruses - this ain't metal.
This is fucking Modern Talking with distorted but awful sounding/mixrr guitats.
Thanks Tank whas AWSOME Love them.
I have discovered this band on your channel, thank you very from France 🇨🇵
Merci beaucoup!
Your title is the same comment I leave on everyone’s reaction. Been waiting for your view on this song!
I was was so stoked when I got the ntification that this dropped. There's always room for new Orbit Culture.
Second time this week I surprised myself again. I need to check out this band, great song.
Thank you Tank for this new band for me! What a great banger band. I already download the album from 2020… great!!! 🤘🏻
Always love you're reactions to orbit culture 🤘
Holy shit this sound is so good, love finding new bands on your channel!
I'll see them live for the first time in about 2 weeks, literally the day of the album release, at summer breeze. Rly exited
Thank you for a great reaction 🤩, and thanks for spreading their music in the past too 🙏😊
The best band in the world🥰🤘
As always.... I cried. Nothing can be so good. Love OC ❤
Super dug on this video! Really enjoyed the song and reaction. :)
This was the first time for me with Orbit Culture and I'm jamming with it!
Just an epic song and a shout out to you Tank for helping me discover them and with your call outs on the review of picking up some of the extra details to the instrumentation just truly awesome keep it up loving everything you are doing
We were all waiting on this reaction! Glad you had some time to get to it! Great channel as always 🤘🔥🤘
"Let's invade france" hilarious to me since I just watched you react to Landmvrks😂😂
This band was my most played on Spotify last year and, with this promising new album coming up, I doubt this year will be much different. I teared up when I listened to this song for the first time, because they just keep bringing it! Orbit Culture Podcast when? 😉

This was sick. And it got sicker and sicker.
I acctually discovered this band through your reaction to Saw. Thanks Tank 😄
They are touring the UK with Trivium and Bleed From Within in October (I think). What a belter of a tour!
Awesome video too!
OC are insanly good, my fave song is A Sailors Tale, exTreme to the Extreme if you ask me..
I'm getting a amorphis vibe. That's what they remind me of, never listened to these guys before. I like it.

Ever since I came across nija I’ve been a serious fan. These guys are killer.
I’m so stoked for this new album!!!
Thank you Tank, havent heard this band before and i absolutely love it, gonna binge listen everything they did now.
Thanks to your 1st reaction to them, Tank, I've been a fan of OC since then. They never cease to amaze me!!

saw them at gefle metal 2 weeks ago and this song was insane live. love me some orbit!

Never heard of this band before, based off just this one song I’ve pre ordered the new album, it's fucking awesome 🤘
I’m seeing Orbit Culture with Avatar and The Native Howl on Sept. 17th! 😆🤘
Looking very much forward to seeing the band live at Summer Breeze this year.
Orbit Culture is amazing! New album means new tour!!!!
Saw these live warm up for In Flames in Oslo in december. Was a band I checked out immediately after the concert, really liked them.
I see Orbit Culture in the thumbnail with that title and nodded in agreement
\m/Looking forward to 18 Sir
And you made burgers for these guys 😊😊😊
I like how they layered the intro.
Literally pre-ordering this album as this notification from YT came up 😂
Welp I think I found a new band to listen to. Thanks Tank! This is so fantastic! Those drums were so fucking good.
Slaughter to Prevail is my fav atm Heavy as anything ever plus excellent rhythm differences
In 40 years people will talk about how great impact Orbit Culture did for the 2010-2020 metal scene. Like what the 80 bands did
You might be so on point with that. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
I SWEAR I LOVE THIS CHANNEL. ALWAYS INTRODUCING ME TO NEW BANDS. JUST BOUGHT A TICKET TO THEIR SHOW.
