It's pretty amazing that still, in 2022, with the endless amount of songs that have been made through out the years, you can still make a song that basically consists of 2 notes and make it sound like nothing else. The simplicity is its brilliance, like Sepultura - Bloody roots. It feels like I'm being attacked by a bear!
I think Shaman EP is a taste of their new direction in the new album, because they're always doing something different ever since In Medias Res. This song in particular is made for live shows, I think. It's more of a relentless chant than your usual structured song. I can't wait for 2023.
I love this band SO MUCH! One thing I absolutely love about their music is that it doesn't make me tired like some of the other heavy songs, when you listen to them you have to take a break because the music is so intense. With OC I only feel more energized, their music gives me a hard kick and I only want more!
Orbit Culture never EVER misses. They consistently keep their sound and yet also create something completely new. Looks like they won't be with In Flames when they're in Phoenix sadly:(
They have a talent of setting up a sound that it feels like it shouldnt work and it will fail, but theb they just hit ur head with the most insane transitions and new riffs like where do they even come up with this stuff. Cant wait
Holy fuck, I gotta get tickets to that tour. This band is one of my favorite discoveries from your channel. 🤘 EDIT: Double holy fuck, they're playing Blue Ridge Rock Festival an hour from my house next month, and so are Halestorm and Electric Callboy. 😱
Holy fucking shit. The boys are back and absolutely ripping it up just like always, if not better. If this is coming from an album, I am 150% in. Like.. It's just a relentless beat down and you can't help but love it.
Having to wait on the best reactor is as painful as waiting for the best band to drop new videos. Let’s Go!!!! Ready for this reaction. P.S. probably have listened to this song 50 times already. It’s an absolute brutal banger. OC delivers like no one else.
In the last week or so, I've been itching for new OC music after getting my melodeath fix from The Halo Effect album that recently dropped (awesome album!) so this release is perfectly timed. As a huge OC fan, they never, ever disappoint, and are so consistent and incredible that it's just a huge gift when they release new material. Finally, the song...My neck is sore and I agree completely with Tank in that I feel this track is a fantastic extension of Carvings and I loved every second of this! It's a great day to listen to OC so thank you Tank for your excellent reaction, I also had a huge grin on my face as well.
OMFG, what a song, I f...g love it. Christopher is such an unbelievably drum machine. Man, love the groove here... bang that head that doesn't bang ;-) Nice reaction Tank, like always.
I truly enjoy Riivata’s videos, especially for OC and Atlas. Dark, gloomy and mysterious. I live in Finland so I know dark and gloomy! 😅 The song is amazing, can’t wait for the album. 🤘🏻🔥
First time I have actually heard of them, so I really appreciate you viewing the stuff that you do, I always add more bands to my list! This song was absolutely amazing!
Thanks to YOU, Tank, I love Orbit Culture as well!! If I hadn't watched your video reacting to "Strangler", I think I'd NEVER have the amazing opportunity to listen to these guys. So, once again, thank you SO FUCKING MUCH!!! 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
I just can't get enough of this band. Ever since the covid rules started getting relaxed a bit, they have been going full speed. Seeing them in Lincoln, NE with In Flames and I really can't tell you the last time I was this excited to see a band. Cheers, sir!
Love the head banging man, you were keeping up with the energy of this song. Orbit Culture has been my favourite band since Rasen and this song slaps. I will 666% be moshing to this live one day. I love that this song is almost an anthem of the band itself. The antler symbolism representing the band logo and the lyrics talking about “we’re in Orbit” and obviously beware of the antlers. Anyways love your video, thanks for the tank tips, equipment notes, talking about the band, and sharing their hype. Keep it up! 🤘
Thank you, Tank! Brilliant review as usual. OC is at its creative zenith and I really hope it lasts forever. OC is in a league of its own. Haven't been this excited since Nirvana...gah! I can't take it, OC literally makes my brain explode!
Will never forget hearing them for the first time…something about OC is just different but I still don‘t fully know what - i just know that I love it! P.S. Tank: Lorna Shore just played a full show over in Germany at SummerBreeze Festival - the stream/ video is fascinating to watch. Speaking for myself: I‘d be interested in learning more about what‘s going on on stage that I am probably missing.
Great! can´t wait for the new album! Just got back here to watch and listen to new stuff, after my fathers death a couple of weeks ago. So great to finally hear some great music again and think about something else. Cheers! Keep it up.
Orbit culture , I don´t even have word anymore for how good they are. I was 6 years old 1984 when a lot of metal and made their big breakthrough, I guess 2022 is orbit cultures year,.
Loved your reaction, Tank. Honestly, I didn't really know Orbit Culture until your reaction. If there's one thing that really stands out to me. It's the Metallica influence is really there. This song in particular gives off, Sad But True and Wherever I May Roam vibes.
You got that glimmer in your eyes when you listening to Orbit Culture 🤩 Dude you need to try BlackBraid…. You are not hearing this wombo combo everyday but it is a Native American black metal band!!!! And they rock big time… go and give them some love
I always listen to your opinion first, because you really know about this matter and I like that very much 👌👌👌💋👍 And you bring the energy from this song over also totally real as I feel it 🤘🤘This song is again a neck breaker, great production 🙏🙏❤️❤️🇸🇪
Its just impossible not to headbang to this masterpiece. I legit love this band! And you are by far the best and first reacter I always search for when this gem of a band releases a new ep :D
Funny how you said Tribal because I thought of Soulfly’s song ‘Unleash’ with Dave Peters of Throwdown on guest vocals, and when you hear the trippy guitar parts of Rizzo reminded me of parts of this song. You’ll know what I’m talking about if you listen to that song and then listen to this Orbit Culture song again. 🤘🎸🤘. This is the best metal band out there right now for our genre as a whole!
Tank... THANK YOU! You catch me at a perfect time - I finally gave myself a chance to watch your reaction to this band and holy f. ITS A BANGER! Thank you so much for introducing me to so much more new awesome music. Through you and Nik I've found Spiritbox which developed to my absolute favorite band really fast and made me start hearing deathmetal while falling in love with Lorna Shore and Slaughter to prevail. I can't thank you enough for letting my own music bubble explode and open to so much more awesomeness! I'm off watching your other reactions... bye! :D
Hello Tank! I'm Brazilian and I watch your channel every day, you are the best in the business of reactions. Thanks for bringing new bands to your channel, information about them and above all, for entertaining your audience. A big hug directly from Brazil 🇧🇷
Though I haven't heard everything Orbit Culture's done, I wasn't sure at first if I liked this or not because I missed hearing Niklas' clean vocals; this is the first Orbit Culture song I've heard in which Niklas has only used harsh vocals. I really love how punishing the main riff is, and I'm happy they changed things up just as it was starting to get a bit repetitive for me. The change-up helped me to appreciate the riff all over again once it returned. All in all, Vultures of North really delivered on the punishing "groove metal" sound Orbit Culture excels at, and the production value screams quality as it always has. I really do hope this band will blow up soon, and their tour will certainly help with that. Also, I think I read online somewhere that Niklas did want to do a Metallica tribute album soon. After hearing their cover of Hardwired, I _REALLY_ hope that happens soon! I can already imagine which other Metallica songs will sound amazing with the Orbit Culture treatment.
They are ending their leg of the US tour right before they come to Dallas 😭. That being said, this song evokes a lot of feelings. Had goosebumps the entire time and my heart was pumping as hard as the double bass. These guys are no doubt my number one favorite.
Loved this reaction and how you got wet in the eyes in the end of the song! That shines on how god damn muched you liked it! A reflection I had on why you liked it so much. It got that nordic death metal vibe of late 90's, early 2000s of bands like Children of bodom which I know you like very much. I saw this gig coming up in Stockholm where I live. The regular tickets goes for about 60$ and they where sold out long ago. Then theres the VIP/meet and greet tickets for ~100$ or the platinum tickets for 150-200$.... and I started studying since the pandemic hit the stage industry, so my income is not the best lol. BUT my courses ends the same day as the show so I guess I'll be pulling some strings and coming back to work!!! :D Imminence saved my life with the Heaven in hiding(how I orginally found your channel btw) album and In flames was one of the first real metal bands I found as a kid. The pits on this tours with these bands will be to die for, in the best of ways!
Tank, I would just like to say, that your content is amazing, I am a fellow musician and love the tech talk, been following your UA-cam journey and it's been super fun, hope you have a wicked day my guy🤘😃🤘loved the new orbit reaction keep them coming
"In Flames - Pinball Map" playing underneath the review...👍 Thanks again for introducing me to Orbit Culture. I blast Nija/Shaman at least once a week at work.
Thanks for linking the Orbit Culture discord. Hope you can see them on the North American tour with In Flames, Fit For An Autopsy and Vended. I hope to catch them in Europe in december with In Flames, At The Gates and Imminence
Saw these guys the other month as support to Trivium, didn't really know them but they were so good live and I've since been hooked on their music. This and From The Inside are currently on constant repeat for me in between their other songs.
Hear them first yesterday from Galacticriminal in reaction and today on Work i listen to the stuff from them . Its realy cool stuff !! Nice new Band for me to notice about
I have to say thank you. Due to your reaction video to North Star of Nija, i have discovered Orbit Culture and since them, they are my favourite Band. I listen every day to them. Thank you.
The swedish cencor-flag was a nice touch. (And as a swede, the only time we would pronounce Rickard other that "Rikard" is if we are speaking another language.)
Got to see these guys at Aftershock! I had heard them on Liquid Metal, and found a few tracks I like on UA-cam. This got me excited to see them at Aftershock, and was quite happy they were first! Currently going through their back catalog, catching up!
Ngl, Orbit Culture is a band that i got into for about a year ago, and I dig them alot and like every song I have heard from this band. But this song omg, they have outdone them self, this is so fucking good, easy top 1 song from them imo, and that says alot!
Nice Work Tank. Great to see an Orbit Culture Reaction again. and an new BPM record. I watched all the old one earlier today. (again) (And the one with Amon Amart, (funny)) Hope that you will bee abel to see them live later this year, I will. I got tickets to the final in Gotenburg, with In Flames, At the Gates and Imminence, The party will start at Odd Island and i dont know where it gona end.. The song reminder me of Nensha, It was good, need to listen to it cuple of time more for a final call.. Until Next time. Take care of you and your family,.
I think this song is a perfect transition between the old EP. You can hear a bit of carvings, strangler and even the mast of the world… but heavier. I have a good feeling about this.. and II also thought a bit about the extra song “ mute the silence”, was I the only one that did that?
Hi Tank, greetz from Germany. I came across your chanel by reading comments at the chanel from Electric Callboy. You are doing a great job with yor reviews. There is so much good music and so many bands I only heard because of you. You should check out Cypecore a german cyberpunk melodic deathmetal band. These guys are blasting. The Alliance or Saint of Zion are recommended. Cheers mate 👍😉
Orbit Culture's upcoming full album is schedule to release sometime in early 2023! ARE YOU STOKED?!
HELL YEAH!!!
Hell yes, super stoked, can't wait🤘
The new album is called Descent! And this song will be on it!
yes
Sooo stoked
Never heard this band before this is the first time hearing them and they just got a new fan
🤘🤘🤘
We are here. We are now. We’re in ORBIT!!! USA Tour starts September 6th!
Carvings/Strangler vibes from this but almost like ”upgraded” and heavier. This album can’t come soon enough!
i love these parts of orbit culture the most, the cleans and borderline metalcore bits just don't flow as well to me.
New song releasing soon
@@simsonchin you do realize that MeloDeath exists rght? this is very common in the genre
LETS GOOOOOO 💪
💪💪💪
This song is UNRELENTING BRUTAL ...... I can add this to the most hypnotic song category right there with Carvings..
Spot on about the "tribal" feel to Orbit culture, i've felt that since Rasen
I think Shaman EP is a taste of their new direction in the new album, because they're always doing something different ever since In Medias Res.
This song in particular is made for live shows, I think. It's more of a relentless chant than your usual structured song.
I can't wait for 2023.
Orbit Culture is a band that is unique in their sound and I love it.
I love this band SO MUCH! With OC I only feel more energized, their music gives me a hard kick and I only want more!
Verdad!!
I hadn't heard of these guys, until a week ago. They opened for Avatar and blew me away. Huge fan now!
Orbit Culture never EVER misses. They consistently keep their sound and yet also create something completely new. Looks like they won't be with In Flames when they're in Phoenix sadly:(
I honestly can’t wait to see them in September!! I hope they have more than a 30 min spot!!
They have a talent of setting up a sound that it feels like it shouldnt work and it will fail, but theb they just hit ur head with the most insane transitions and new riffs like where do they even come up with this stuff. Cant wait
I've picked up and listened to all their stuff now. So far they haven't put out a single bad song.
I'm going to see them play with in flames on Sept 16th and I have never been more pumped in my life
these guys fucking kill it
Holy fuck, I gotta get tickets to that tour. This band is one of my favorite discoveries from your channel. 🤘

Seriously, it's so punishing. Hahaha
The vocals at the back at 7:40 are such row screams. I can imagine everybody sitting live and all are just rowing x)

I’m so stoked for the new album! And for the first time I’m more excited to see them as an opening band than In Flames 🔥
Thanks to YOU, Tank, I love Orbit Culture as well!! If I hadn't watched your video reacting to "Strangler", I think I'd NEVER have the amazing opportunity to listen to these guys. So, once again, thank you SO FUCKING MUCH!!! 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾

Yep can't wait too. Got the ticket for the show in Switzerland...yeah ❤️🔥
Thank you, Tank! Brilliant review as usual. OC is at its creative zenith and I really hope it lasts forever. OC is in a league of its own. Haven't been this excited since Nirvana...gah! I can't take it, OC literally makes my brain explode!
Let's goooo ! What a killer song. I heard it so many times by now already!
I can't fucking WAIT to see this band in Chicago. More than worth the drive from St. Louis. LET'S GO!!!
Will never forget hearing them for the first time…something about OC is just different but I still don‘t fully know what - i just know that I love it!

The only way I can describe this song is F**KING RELENTLESS
AND I LOVE IT
I love this band so much. Can't wait for a new album.
Arranged a trip to the US, and the stars aligned. I'll be watching In Flames and OC opening their tour in Boston. Cant fu$/g wait!
Can't wait for the new album so hyped . Orbit culture just keep bringing the brutality . What a tune . Niklas pure genius 🤘
God, I hope they play this in 2 weeks when I see them. I cannot contain myself with excitement.
Introduced to this banger of band by you way back in the beginnings of this channel when you did Saw. Only right to view their new drops here again.
🤘🤘🤘
Its just impossible not to headbang to this masterpiece. I legit love this band! And you are by far the best and first reacter I always search for when this gem of a band releases a new ep :D
Next Year on Summer breeze I celebrate this Awesome Band
I was headbanging my ass off to this song yesterday. They of course premiered it at their homeshow.

A great lineup 🤘🔥
I’m right there with you, Orbit culture just does something different than other metal groups and it’s amazing .

This was the first time I've ever listened to Orbit Culture and I loved it!!
Thank you Tank, you made my day ❤
They are ending their leg of the US tour right before they come to Dallas 😭. That being said, this song evokes a lot of feelings. Had goosebumps the entire time and my heart was pumping as hard as the double bass. These guys are no doubt my number one favorite.

Thank you.
🤘🤘🤘
I couldnt quite put my finger on it and you are right Tank....It definitely could be a Carvings part II.
The swedish cencor-flag was a nice touch.
(And as a swede, the only time we would pronounce Rickard other that "Rikard" is if we are speaking another language.)
2hours to live in Eksjö Sweden 🤘🤩🤘
Got to see these guys at Aftershock! I had heard them on Liquid Metal, and found a few tracks I like on UA-cam. This got me excited to see them at Aftershock, and was quite happy they were first! Currently going through their back catalog, catching up!
The sound quality for OC tracks amazes me. The song is a banger...and it sounds sooo good. Especially when the volume is turned way up
Ngl, Orbit Culture is a band that i got into for about a year ago, and I dig them alot and like every song I have heard from this band. But this song omg, they have outdone them self, this is so fucking good, easy top 1 song from them imo, and that says alot!
Nice Work Tank.
Great to see an Orbit Culture Reaction again. and an new BPM record.
I watched all the old one earlier today. (again) (And the one with Amon Amart, (funny))
Hope that you will bee abel to see them live later this year, I will. I got tickets to the final in Gotenburg, with In Flames, At the Gates and Imminence,
The party will start at Odd Island and i dont know where it gona end..
The song reminder me of Nensha, It was good, need to listen to it cuple of time more for a final call..
Until Next time. Take care of you and your family,.
Certified banger. Awesome. Love it!
More! Give me MORE!!!
Love the relentlessness and the ongoing unease in this song. Absolute banger!!
