- How much do you REALLY earn from Spotify streams? I thought I would reveal how much I made from 250,000 spotify streams. I kept 100% of my royalties thanks to DistroKid! #spotify #distrokid #shorts
My first year of releasing music on Spotify I made enough money to pay for an annual subscription to Spotify.
😂😂😂😂😂
What's your secret 😂
How can I buy streams on Spotify?
Wakakak....
Thanks for showing me this because I've heard other people say more amounts and I want to start producing music
You’re very welcome! Good luck with producing and you can use my link for a discount on DistroKid! distrokid.com/vip/harry
U just starting out?
Adds up to the math that 1milli streams = $4,000
Yeah for sure!!
I had that amount after 1.3 million lmao, payouts really depend on country
Not if you use song trust
Nice, and you also got a new fan out of it. Great music, bud.
thanks dude!🙏
No problem! If you wanna use DistroKid and don’t already, this link will get you a discount (and also me a referral fee which I’ll always be grateful for!) distrokid.com/vip/harry
Do you get paid every month for your track. Or do you just get paid one time. I’m asking because I have 3 tracks over 100k. And my label is screwing me. I kno I made money. Just don’t kno if it keeps coming in every payout period.
Oh dear dude sorry to hear this I get paid every month this is exactly why I use DistroKid!!
@@HarrySeatonwill the songs only receive one payment or will be re occurring payments.
@@HarrySeaton man do u make acoustic songs ?
great affiliate plug at the end that's where the money comes in fr 👍
Hell yeah
1194$ for 250k streams is good though in india we get this much amount after hitting 2 million streams
I personally like awal, I give up 15% but my music stays live for life, I don’t have to pay anything yearly, nor do I have to pay upfront to distribute records. This is why I shy’d away from tunecore, they want X amount to upload it, then X amount a year to keep it active, a lot of bedroom artist aren’t even making $1 off of their music, they’re pretty much hustling backwards
Fair enough! I had a terrible experience with them. The thing is, if you’re serious about your music there’s a good chance you could randomly get added to a big playlist. It happened to me. That one song netted around $2000 over 2 years. 15% would’ve cost me $300. That’s the same as my DistroKid membership paid for 15 years, and that’s assuming I don’t make $20 a year from my streams going forward. I always take the attitude of planning for success (even though it’s very rare haha!) but this way I’m set up for if it does happen!
@@HarrySeaton same here, I did a song with Tory Lanez years ago that boomed and took off, til this day I still earn a lot of money off of that record in which I’m paid out monthly, plus I’m on a few different Tory Lanez playlist. But for the average artist that just has a laptop and a mic, and works a regular job that uploads his music, he’s not seeing a return, so giving up 15% or nothing isn’t a bad play either, especially when the music stays active for life without paying every year to keep it up, because let’s say it doesn’t hit this year, or the next, but the year after everything catches on, that music was still active without having to come out of pocket to keep it live
@@Street_Costello and think how much more you could’ve earned without losing a percentage 😉
@@HarrySeaton that’s the gamble though, I was on tunecore early, released music and didn’t see a dime, albums were like $49.99 to post, singles were $10 each, then it was like the same price yearly to keep it active, and through them years I was making like $0.25 total, shit wasn’t moving period, over the years I stopped paying to keep music up that wasn’t giving me a return. Everybody has different experiences. I happen to be making money now and I’m good cause I caught fire with the Tory record, but not many get that break and they’re paying every single year just to say, ‘hey my music is on streaming platforms’ shit lord forbid, and knock on wood, I pass away, if I was on tunecore, and can’t push the music, it gets dead cold, and the music isn’t generating as much, it could potentially come down, but with awal, just for 15% it stays well after I’m gone, wether I get a massive amount of streams or just 1 stream. So yea every situation is different, but awal just works for me personally
Hmmm so that means it should be 650$ for me, and it's just 350 😊
Do featured artist get paid by Spotify??
obviously they get paid
And here I get 0.0001357 dollars per stream
Wakakak.....
Same here
Does this work for podcasts?
Do podcasters get paid like this also?
Thankyou dude
Thks for sharing. My first time in ur channel, question what’s a good place to promote my Spotify music organically ? Can you recommend me one ?
🙏🏼
Amazing! Yeah for sure. TikTok without a doubt. Start making clips of your song, both pre-recorded and live performances!
and people say "streaming saved music"... LOL
Imagine if u charged $1 per stream
Distrokid is the best !!
Free and Premium Streams actually don't make a difference afaik. They use 70% of their income for their artists. These 70% are divided by the amount of all streams across all songs and that's the amount per stream, from what I know.
Pov: your looking for the distrokid link
Go get that discount dude! distrokid.com/vip/harry
@@HarrySeaton bet
That's pretty high actually
I think it's real.
We all need to try this
I got 64$ of 15k stream so far.
I only streams my beats tho
I made 4 dollars and 57 cents in 1 month. No paying. I'm happy, beat yall to making a profit from my music. Laughing in the out loud.
Ok dude 😂
i get payed 0.001 per stream
100% if you live in America
Whats up How do you get paid every month when stores are on a 2 to 3 month delay ??
Dude, after that 3 month delay, you'll basically be getting paid every month from the previous 3 months....
@@1PerfectAgony capp my boy that's not how it works
@@citymatthews Actually that is how it works….after that first 3 month delay you’ll be getting paid every month 💀 if you don’t know what you’re talking about just say that .
Yea that’s ass for the amount of streams u generated. Love your transparency
I would be happy as a pig in ish with that😅
Nice
So you’re paying a subscription to collect royalties, it’s not really keeping 100% then is it?
I have 6 million streams how much should I get
Hey we got k rounds?
I earned 1.06€ for 1096 streams
Sounds a bit low actually! I get about £3 per 1,000 streams!
Ouch
Don’t forget you gotta pay tax on that
How could I ever forget that 😭 but in the U.K. it also depends what you do. If you are full time employed, your first £1000 from other work is tax free
Hahahaha in greece its like 0.0025 per stream😂
What if I have those streams but I never got the money 😊
Maybe you need to use DistroKid! They’ve never stopped me getting paid!
@@HarrySeaton I use distrokid
Please teach me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey men is this amout you earn monthly?
Yes if you got those streams every month!
Pre knowing guess 1000$$$$$$$$$
So less than minimum wage. Got it
Depending on your streams, could be £1 or could be £1,000,000!
stop faking bro
What do you think I’m faking?
@@HarrySeaton your ernings
I’d happily show screenshots. What would I gain from pretending? Plus you can see my streams publicly, then you can check average earnings and see that it all adds up 😂 stay mad though dude!
u earned so much💪🏻 i am not mad or jealous just i thought u r faking sorry ?
Its real
