Got that book about a few months ago after reading a review for it on another webpage. Only gotten a few chapters into it, though..really need to dive back into it, so to speak.
Excellent review. I had hoped it would break the mold, so I was left feeling mixed similar to you. I liked the destructive end. There was one twist that I should have seen but didn't. I was convinced I'd missed a critical piece of info early on. In reality, it was like my opinion of them continued to drop the more we learned.
Extremely happy to have my favorite channel active again. Great review as always.

So there is a super cheesy Canadian paranormal show called Surreal Estate about a realty agent who fixes haunted real estate.
Its more fun i imagined it would be.

This is only my second so I haven’t read enough to say. But suffice to say I fully intend to keep going.
Is pregnancy a big part of the book? The reason I ask is I have read too much horror and thrillers about pregnancy and I find this topic to be boring.😅
It’s just a background detail. This isn’t “mommy horror” like Rosemary’s Baby or anything.
