The most appropriate coolant for the Opel/Vauxhall/Holden Corsa/Barina C/XC is DEX-COOL red coolant, which is specifically recommended by GM

You need to start the car after topping it off for water pump to push coolant in engine and radiator, then add extra coolant while fluid gets sucked down. The way you do it half of the capacity would remain vacuumed

To remove air just turn the engine on and reach 90deg temperature before closing the reservoir?

I put a new egr valve on my corsa b, and now my engine temperature becomes hotter then it used to be before i replaced the egr valve, normaly it was around 90 c. Now it allmist go up to 100. And btw the new egr valve didnt fixed my problem wich is: my car stutter wich turns on the engine check light. Any ideas would be appreciated.

green color is inappropriate for corsa c. you should use red color because it is different than the green one in terms of ingredients ;)

My corsa is taking long time to get up to the normal temperature after changing the coolant. Is it a problem with the termostat?

if you say after changing the coolant , it is most likely . Was the old coolant very dirty ?

I have the same engine on my car and after 14 years of operation the original Behr thermostat started opening at around 77°C instead of 92°C (the design temp). Even if they won't jam open or closed they still lose calibration and open way earlier than normal after a while (=engine wear, bad heater, wasted fuel). Coolant is G12+ for this engine. Doesn't necessarily have to be red (the original Dex-Cool coolant Vauxhall and Opel part stores sell is in fact orange). As long as it's rated as G12+ and/or all relevant VW TL standards it's ok.

Hi! I have a problem because the temperature does not rise to 90. It is between 80 and 90 and if sometimes goes to 90 it drops down to 80 again. I did change the thermostat but same thing. Do you know what can be a problem?

You just changed the coolant in the radiator, not in the engine block, so this is not complete coolant change.
