Hahah true! Sometimes i’ll do a game where I basically just rush cap/upgrade as fast as possible so I can get out force recon as quickly as I can. Not always the best strat but can be very fun especially when it goes well.
One thing you could start to do that I forgot to mention in the video... Rush for force recon 2. Once it's deployed, tell your engineer to switch the uplink to electronic warfare. Can regen 3 CP before the FR reaches the enemy and use it to help your push.
Great production on this analysis- The mini zoom ins, arrows etc makes it really clear and entertaining. Definitely times where my units were too idle during this match… Great point on some artillery shells not hitting the uplink. I literally do this all the time using the map instead of force attacking the uplink its self from the camera and didn’t realise how inaccurate it is… I think if you pin point the cursor dead centre on the map over the uplink it is okay but likely inconsistent. Also yes, I have come to realise in skirmish counter sniper is not a thing so sniping units in cover is pointless… Another great video 💪
Thanks for letting me do this. I like it and it's fun editing practice. I never considered it a possibility to tell artillery to attack using the map. It's so strange what the map allows and disallows. A big reason for your win was deploying all those gunships and your opponent spent 9 CP to airstrike your gunship and rifleman at W. Units win matches, not mission supports.
One thing I noticed - he needs to learn the "Q" hotkey for special attacks. He could be shooting out that stuff much quicker and taking the extra 2 seconds of stress away from having to click on the icon on the bottom right of the UI every time.
I know you don't play the game with voice commands anymore, but I really want to see you doing one episode about everything related to the voice command system. Or just play a couple of games using voice commands. Really love you channel, End War is such an unique RTS. Keep up the good work.
Hey thanks. I really enjoy making this sort of video. It means a lot to me that people appreciate and agree that all the visual cues are highly valued.
Springfield was my introduction to the Theater of War in 1v1... I lost but I was hooked. I think i need to get a capture card to record some games. I was messing around last night with just the AI on the dlc maps. Its all "muscle memory" when it comes to playing Endwar. This was a good breakdown. I had similar thoughts about pushing with transports first.
If you're interested in seeing more like this, let me know!
Would love to see some Russian gameplay
Force recon is love, force recon is life!

@@icecoldsnakeYT Interesting, I never considered that. Gonna try it out on my next campaign. Thanks!
Word up. I live & die by Force Recon. So many tactical roles that it can play....

Ya know. I didn't even catch that during this video. I saw it on his next video too.
We miss the voiceline vids man 😢

Ya know. I might have to add that to the list. It's such a cool feature that I disregard and almost forget exists, but everyone else loves.
