I think we have a winner! I checked the badge and it looks very similar. (although damaged) And yes the frame and the history seem to match up! 😁👍🏻 I can’t wait to tell my auntie! Thank you I didn’t expect to find anything out so fast. 🙏🏻 I was thinking it might be a hand made 1 of a kind. But they made nearly 900 from what I just read. I wonder how many survived? 🙂
Have to admire the craftsmanship, but I wouldn’t dare to ride it down a very steep and/or bumpy road. Interesting to have a bike which is more prone to termites than rust 😄
Nice bike! I build too wooden bicycle frames, but using different construction technics that makes lighter and strong. This kind of construction make the frame very flexy.
Yes it looks very flexible, I’m surprised if the forks can even support my weight. It was probably designed for a half starving Italian survivor of WW2, so the average weight of the rider was probably about 50kg. 😂
@@reginaldscot165 I'm 165cm tall and 44kg, less than WW2 survivors...😆😆😆😆 To make strong structures in wood you need use tubes or some sort of C or I beam. Solid wood will be flexy, I only use solid wood on my seat post.
You're going out on a limb there,Regi. Does that birch picture indicate the type of wood? Maybe hickory would give the bike a ti like spring... I did see a wooden bike in a museum here in N.Z,think it was English. They let me pick it up with gloves,it was heavy. There has been a few mtb made of bamboo on youtube. They were quite light wooden you know😁
As long as you are sure? Like I say, it’s not my favourite but it handles really well and if the price is right why not. 🤷🏻♂️ Don’t pay any more than 40% its original price in my opinion. 🙂
That frame is beautiful. Absolutely love it.
It’s something special alright. 🙂
1945 Fratelli Vianzone?

Beautiful bicycle
It is. ❤️
YOU JUST WOODEN BELIEVE IT ..
Is this some kind of oak? 🤔 To be honest the idea of a wooden bicycle goes against the grain for me. 😉
@@reginaldscot165 NICE 1

Ha ha yes that’s very true. 😂
A wooden bicycle, crazy. Put a campag groupset on it! 😂
That would be nice. ❤️
Amazing, and great condition. Looks like a real bicycle to me, not just display. But maybe shouldn't be ridden ! just in case :)
I’d love to try it, but it would be tragic if I sat on it and it snapped! 😳
Purty and interesting bike
Very 🙂

@@reginaldscot165 it will bough down for you like a camel.
I’ve found myself pining away for such a bicycle. I prefer aluminum, but want to branch out. Knot sure if its for me.
What a terrible Oak! 😂

A wooden bike modern or old is definitely in my try list. I think I need to got the bike show in Asia and see what I can find? 🙂
Reginald, I have found a Cinelli Nemo Tig steel frameset on sale here in UK. Thinking of buying it on the back of your feedback 👍

I would examine the lamp for more information. The bike looks like it could be from 1900-20 maybe?
I guess by the components it’s 1940s. And someone just found it and it’s 1945, just after WW2. 🙂👍🏻
Insert "would" meme here.
No idea 🤷🏻♂️
