I got a question for you Daniel, you have say in other videos that if you use a Resolution of 1080p while the game renders at dynamic resolution and upscaled the picture to 4K and then it downscales the image to 1080p since the PS5 is outputting a 1080 signal will that add more delay than using a monitor that downscales the image from 4K to 1080p for example?
Congratulations on the video, very useful and full of information!! 💪🏼 Do you think using call of duty on ps5 with an account not set as the main one in the console increases the imput lag?
Hi, thanks, it's very debatable, as we tested that a few times and every time it was different, here's a video about it: ua-cam.com/video/v6-W2HojGQk/v-deo.html
What you say about monitor upscaling 4k is si true. I played Apex Legends on upscaled 4k on a 2k monitor, now that I put native 2k input and disabled HDR the game is way smoother and responsive. I also play on 120hz👍
So I lost my usb dongle of Logitech g435 gaming headphones. So is there any latency issue if i use Bluetooth on tv rather than spending like 5000 inr for a Bluetooth wireless headphones adapter for ps5 or should i buy new Logitech g435 .I play AAA Games and mostly are god of war, spider man, gran turismo, gta, falll guys, etc.Since mic will not work,I will use controller for mic.
Hey daniel a little confused with the softward delay you said having certain options on would make the console take longer to react so should we have haptic navegation on with high contrast or no?
Hi, for 7 games tested recently (MW3/WZ3/R6/OW2/Valorant/Rogue Company/XDefiant) It reduced the delay, however BO6 wasn't like that, but we need to wait for final release to judge BO6, btw you can have Vibration off and it still helps. For High contrast, you wouldn't need that. that mainly affects if a UI action is made such as getting notifications.
Is there a device for the ps5 similar to the Cronus tournament sticks for the ps4 that allowed the controller to run at a higher polling rate when wired?
Hi, I connect a USB Dev kit which copies the output signal of the controller, the controller sends those data, however, not every game on PS5 request that much of data, so it's like you have 100MB/s for example but if the game only asks for 1MB/s the rest isn't going to help with faster response.
@@benhooks3220 if it feels choppy use USB, in my case it's smooth even though I have multiple BT around me, it mainly depends if something interferes with it or not.
Bro you really need to tell people the context of what you are suggesting. Disabling VRR on a VRR capable display is a really bad idea and arguably makes thinks worse than micro losses for input lag
@@DanielZH Of course it does. But how many games are holding a stable 120 for example? Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate your videos. But you were advising people that higher frame rates like 120 to reduce input lag and then you suggested turning off VRR. Most people will just go ahead and do that if they don’t understand what they are doing. I’m just suggesting that in the future you make it clearer to viewer just how drastic a setting like VRR can be on higher frame rates.
VRR adds horrible input lag on any monitor, if you play shooter it should ALWAYS be off on PS5, so Daniel’s advice is completely correct. This video is about reduce latency/lag and this happens with VRR off. Simple as that.

@@mrxxpainxx7039 Hi, I didn't test Apex yet, but since it helped in many, I would say maybe it helps there too! but I will test it for future references later.
Hi, it doesn't disable Vsync, it depends on the game, I didn't test it in the Finals, but in most cases I tested it caused a higher input lag with Edge, and in some cases lower with DualSense.

Should I use resolution, performance or game default on the ps5?
It's best to leave on default and only change it in games if you want.
What’s better? Usbc- usbc // usb - usbc??? Does it matter? Dual sense wise
Hi, not for DualSense, for Edge I suggest the Type-C or back ports.

Nice vidéo, can you do another vidéo to result Even more thé latency on ps5. Nice content from 🇫🇷
Hi, are you asking to actually have more input lag? why?
Let goo video from the best tester out here thank you daniel
Wow, thanks!
so when playing COD multiplayer, you suggest VRR to be off?
Hi, that'll have less input lag, unless you get tearing and it may not worth it.
Do a video on the Personalised 3D audio profile for ps5, maybe something that could be good for cod footsteps
Will do soon!
Hi Daniel what is the best vrr on or off in warzone 😃
Hi, in Warzone VRR off gives you a faster response, but you may get screen tearing.

does enabling vibration and adaptive triggers good for reducing input delay? im assuming it will add more pulling rate decreasing the delay.

Please try the controller Scuf envision its only for Pc
Rainbow six siege settings hdr always on or active if supporty?

haptic feedback during console navigation off or on ?

@@benhooks3220 if it feels choppy use USB, in my case it's smooth even though I have multiple BT around me, it mainly depends if something interferes with it or not.
Hi, so what about edge poll rate on a ps4 game on ps5? What is it for usb and bt
Hi, typically none of the PS4 games request a high polling rate, both would work similar, USB is better to ensure a smooth signal though.
@@DanielZH I swear it feels different on both tho like noticeable in a way, can you please try it as ur the expert with these things?

Hello ps5 Warzone HDR on or off? For speed 🫡
Hi, if HDR looks good, you can use it, it had 2-3ms lower delay on avg, otherwise, no need.
Wish someone did these tests on xbox
I'd like to, saving to buy it before 2025, the reason I wait is to see if they will release a new console after PS5 Pro or not.
