- After years of going without, we finally broke down and bought a greenhouse. The excuse is that we need it for our plant nursery. The reality is that it's just epic. Here's a look at how we built our greenhouse, and how it looks when finished. We also cover how to keep a greenhouse warm without spending money on electricity.

This is a good commercial greenhouse we got for a very decent price from Greenhousekits1.com. We started it on September 28th, and finished it at the very beginning of November. Now we can propagate plants through the winter and have plenty to offer in our nursery in the spring. - Навчання та стиль

Hallelujah! So happy for you! I am in the middle of a 22x25 build from scratch. Hopefuly I will be done soon. Put in 2 heat sinks and half burried one side. North facig wall is insulated. In south Missouri. Trying to start a nursery and a not for profit to build communty gardens in senior communities and local churches. Pray for us. Great job!

There is one thing about a greenhouse that we always need to remember. When we use it, it's paying for itself. No need to calculate how long or when, just remembering that it does. Just like the time to water and care for the plants. They give back, in more ways that we can count.

Wonderful greenhouse and it will be one of the best investments you ever made. To get my little one over the top since I am a loner, I used duckbill clamps and hemp rope,, doubled over the plastic edge, clamped it and flung the rope over the top to the other side, pulled and tied it off and did that all the way down until it was over the top and down the other side.
Look at all those little yous running around pitching in .... Yayyyy that's sooooo awesome 🥰

Love the greenhouse! An idea for the next one (or for others who don't have a big family): to assist in getting the plastic up and over the top of the structure, tie rocks or balls into the edges of the plastic with one end of a long cord; tie something heavy to the other end of the cord and throw that over the top. Then you can pull on the cords to help bring the plastic up and over. (Using the rock or ball enables you to attach a cord to the plastic without making any holes in it.)

You and the children could have a whole business of putting up greenhouses, hoop houses, they all did a great job!! Praise the Lord!

Obviously the plants will love it, but there's nothing like having a space to work in comfortably on those blustery winter days and in rain storms... so be sure to save yourself a little room and not stuff it completely full.
Your kids have no hesitation to jump in to participate, no fear of criticism (or heights), and no doubt that they are an important part of something larger than themselves. How novel to me and to many others I'm sure, to possess the power of inner strength, unconditional love, solid confidence and security that they matter very much to the world around them. In my next life, I want to be one of them, please. You and Mrs Good are a special pair, indeed.
Seeing the whole family pitch in to make this happen is good for one's soul. May you receive the blessings you work hard fo manifest.

It's a Monster (said in a broad Scottish accent for lols) I was trying to work out where I'd seen James before, then worked out he's a greybeard version of Oliver Anthony, amazing forward planning to have bread a brood of young monkeys in time to help errect it, fabulous project, wishing you all the very best of success with the new venture!

What great space!!!! A line of barrels of water along the north wall allow them to collect the sun while not interfering with available light (if only done one barrel high).

It's a great start. You gotta have a place to grow the green plants before you can start banking the green stuff to pay for it. You'll do well I'm sure. The tractor will come in time. You'll need one for all the mulch and compost you'll be selling in your plant nursery future.

Love it. Careful, even this time of year in Colorado in my greenhouse without shade cloth I have to run vent fans on a thermostat. It will get 130 degrees inside on days without cloud cover. Greenhouses are awesome
