I just got a bunch of old windows from my mom's house because she's having them all replaced...I got them for exactly this purpose!! Definitely saving this to watch over and over while I build ❤

The problem with these kind of videos is that it seems so easy to do the project while in reality, things like cutting timbers, painting even cleaning are all tedious, time consuming and sometimes frustrating process…..especially for the amateur DIYs
Its not what I would say is easy-but its not hard either. Its simply a transformation.You start with a vision and put one foot in front of the other. You take your time,but the project will have a life of its own. We just took our bare bones back cluttered porch-insulated,put up a nice white panelling,trimming it out now. I have 9 windows on 3 walls,so its a great seed germinating/plant room! Next is to run a piece of ductwork for heat out there from the house furnace.
This is a very beautiful project. I love how manyof the building were materials are upcyled & repurposed. 👏👏👏
I DO WISH you would bring up the risk of LEAD PAINT. 😫 I saw chips of old paint falling off all around this project. Very concerning!

the worst thing when im renovating our backyard garden is when you see a snake hiding on the bushes or woodplanks huhuhu,,, that's why I stop for almost a week in our home reno.

We made our greenhouse from old windows and doors. It is an easy way to recycle and save a bit of money. Kinda a pain with a bunch of different sized windows. But still doable. Yours looks great...

Boy.. you have to priorities your safety over work. Video clip time = 2:22, you were kneeling down and firing nail towards yourself. Video clip time = 2:25, you were holding the wood and trigger nail towards your left hand. This is not the way to work and capture. Just think what if any of your followers try to copy your way of working and misfires and get hurt. You need to work with safety and guide your followers too to do so. Hope you got my point of view. Always lead check painted reclaimed windows and lumber. Lead paint chips contaminate soil, not good for those tomatoes and zucchini

i like to paint lumber before I build with it. lay it across open ladders on their side on the lawn or between benches or saw horses. then no joint has unpainted lumber peeking out. And way faster.

I have done something similar with an existing dog pen. We used recycled windows, door and metal roofing. Kept a dirt floor, just added a deep layer of free sawdust from a cabinet maker. Only thing we needed to buy was the screws and caulking. First it was greenhouse, then a chicken coop, finally a shed. I painted it in cheerful colors and added a pergola front. TFS
