If you turn the knob to select letters, keep turning and you will come to all capital letters. You selected lower case letters for some. There's a whole crap-load of 2 meter buttons that can be re-programmed for frequencies that you like. This is very handy stuff to learn and use...!!! 😊
Thanks for the link to the manual. Have it for two days and boy complex thingymadingy for a novice to Ham radio. Haven't got my license yet so this is perfect frolic around. The scanning function is a chapter on itself wich I haven't read. Maybe there are functions like on a portofoon to make the scanning work TO time operation (TO), Carrier Operation (CO) or Search Operation (SE). Or CTSS/DCS. Hope I set you on the right track and once again thanks.
Yes the memory and scanning function most perplexing function to me on the DSP2. I assume it’s very powerful functions? But, the Chinese and Russian documentation is so lacking with this particular setup. I bought the RadioToday guide manual to the DSP2 and hopefully he has figured this part out better than my naive understanding. Always enjoy your posts.
Thank you, just ordered one, lot’s of features, looking forward to tinkering with it. All your video presentations are excellent! Much appreciated
