I'm amazed that Blender can do texturing almost like Substance Painter in terms of quality. Also, if you don't mind me asking, how's the tutorial going for the Ahri model going?
@@Mahanobe I guarantee it is faster in Substance Painter though, since I use both. But with a few updates, I'm sure Blender will become the standard 3D Army Knife for everything. Maybe. I hope.
@@jeremiahgallo1055 Nothing beats Quixel Mixer. Insane quality textures, all because they are actual scans of real-life objects. Not to mention all you need to access them is an Unreal Engine account, which is completely free. Top quality product & free? Yes, please.

I watched the whole video and saw some great use of the tools and found myself trying to figure out some of the techniques you used for shading particularly with the cloth material. do you use a pen tablet/display or use a mouse? do you switch between or have any preference for your workflow? Yeah. Making textures in blender is maybe even better than on substence. Another thing is exporting. Its still little complicated.

Texturing skills translate to any software. No software will make quality textures on their own. Blender does not "do" the textures, the author does.
