Easy Car Rigging And Animation Tutorial | Launch Control (Blender)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 лип 2024
- In this tutorial I will show you the easiest way to rig and animate cars in Blender. We'll do this with the Launch Control add-on because it takes just a few clicks after preparation. If you don't have the add-on yet, you can download it from the link below.
Feel free to ask, if you have any questions.

My name is Leone and I make videos since 2018 and since 2021 I also work with Blender and other 3D softwares. The different possibilities of creating videos and then combining them has always interested and motivated me. I like to try out new things in my projects and share the resulting videos with you.
Hope you enjoy!

You´re welcome 🙏🙏
Thank you❤❤❤
You're welcome 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Wow man, this was really helpful, thank you so much!!
You're welcome!
Great tutorial. Love you channel
Thank you very much! Glad that it helps 😊
Gold
Thank you 👍🙂
Brilliant. And the tires can deform too under pressure?
As far as i know there isn´t such a feature.
Now teach us how to make an realistic enviroment lika that! Seriously that render looks amazing
Thank you 🙏🏻 I've already uploaded a few videos. The last tutorials show the process for this exact landscape.
Thanks, but I need your lighting setup and render setting tutorial..
Will make a tutorial about render settings in the future. It´s on my list 👍
Hey! I've been following your tutorial and it's been very helpful so far. However, I'm having issues with using the spline path that you duplicated at 10:00. whenever I try to select it in the Launch Control menu it says "Could not use the User Path. There seems to be multiple splines inside the path object. Please delete all but 1 spline in the User Path.", any idea how to fix this?
Thank you very much. What kind of path did you create? Did you make it the same as I did in the tutorial (duplicate edges of the mesh and made them a curve)? Or did you do it by creating a new path, with Shift + A?
thanks for the video!
On 8:36 i have the same issue that i saw on your video. Looks like a car hit the bump, g-force sky rocketed and turned red.
Any ideas how to avoid this?
I had this bug randomly in different places of my path
Thanks in advance!
You´re welcome!
On 8:36 it was just because i´ve activated the physics at this point. A few seconds later you can see that it works fine.
In your case it can have two reasons i think.
1. You didn´t play the animation again from the beginning to recalculate everything again after enabling physics.
2. Your car is very fast from the beginning of your animation. With physics enabled you should give the car a few frames to accelerate.
Could you fix it that way?
Love this❤ great tutorial. Thank you❤ Also can you please share .blend file? Is the car free to download? Does it come with Launch control?
Thank you very much. Launch control comes with three cars. There are some websites where you get free high quality cars like wirewheelsclub.com. Then there are also add-ons like "Transportation", where you get over a hundred cars for a cheap price.
Unfortunately I can't share the blend file, because of the textures. But I shared the model in my large landscape tutorial. You just have to texture it, but all masks and models are included.
great work
did your create background or downloaded from anywhere? and need lighting tutorial also
Thank you. I created the environment by myself. For the lighting i just used an hdri. I have a tutorial where i show how i created the scene.
@@enhancedsight thank you so much
💓💓💓💓💓
Brother, please also make a video of the render settings of your car animation.
Will do that and show my render settings as well as compositiong.
@@enhancedsight thank you so much bro
@@uniedstudios you're welcome 🤗
how do i change the ground detection for the launch control??
You mean to chose which mesh should be the ground? After you rigged the car with launch control there will be a collection called ground. You just have to put the ground in this collection.
When I click on (keep transform) in the car, this message appears. (loop in parents). How do I solve this problem??
I think, that there must be an error with the parenting. Try Alt+P and clear the parent and then parent them again. It can also be, that you already connected the objects to a rig.
What's the name of the first song in the video bro? BTW good tutorials for beginner
Thank you very much. The song name is in the description.
How do you render these big scenes with all the trees and stuff?
Will also make a tutorial about render settings, but also made one about how i build my landscapes. I guess you have trouble with GPU Memory. There are a few ways to reduce it, but the easiest is, to use the simplify option in the render settings. Also raise the dicing rate, if you use adaptive subdivision. For the assets i just use the maximum distance option in geo scatter. That way i just have to scatter the smaller assets (like grass) near the camera.
@@enhancedsight thanks for the reply! Yeah I honestly thought my rtx 3070ti would have no trouble even rendering smaller scenes
@@petermeier4465 the 3070 ti has 8 GB vram which should be enough for most scenes, especially in 1080p and with simplify enabled. You can upscale it afterwards, if needed. The rendering at the start of the video was rendered in 1080p and upscaled to 4k.
@@enhancedsight okay thank, unfortunately I don't have geo scatter lol expensive, but I got g scatter and the pants library which I tried using but didn't work for me unfortunately 😖I'll go see what simplified, subdivision and dicing rate is thank you!
@@petermeier4465 Not simplified subdivision, but simplify. It's an option in the render settings, to choose a maximum texture size. For example, if you use many 4k or even 8k textures, then your scene gets heavy real quick. With simplify you can reduce the amount of memory used.
What is the download link for the car?

Bro how much time it took to render?
Don't remember, I think around 30 seconds per frame in 1080p with 64 Samples.
bro give us the link of this car model. so we can download this car and use it as well.
The car model is paid. I bought it on blendermarket for 10$. Here is the link:

Your pc spec?
Laptop with 64GB RAM, i9 and RTX 4090
where i can that car model??
I downloaded the car model from blendermarket.com

Going to start learning blender now lmao bye Maya
😂😂😂
bro.. how i get that add on as free
Launch Control is not free. Rig A Car is free, but not as good. You would have to animate the physics by yourself which is time consuming, especially if you don´t know what you´re doing and want to play around.
Link??
