Is it safe to practice one hour without any rest? so far i do the 20 minutes one maximum. And i always open and try the different breathing exercises videos from this channel at least once everyday once, but only for maximum 20 minutes. Please give me some feedback anyone, appreciated, thanks
Hi, I am a therapist-practitioner from the UK who has trained in breathwork and a number of other modalities. To respond to your question - everyone is different, so only you can answer this. There are no issues with doing this type of breathwork for one hour or even more. BUT you simply need to follow the signals your body is giving you - don't force yourself beyond what your body wants to do. If you are straining/forcing then it will not be beneficial. If you can easily do 20 minutes, then you could experiment with extending it to 30 minutes and see how that is. The key point to know is that there is no inherent danger in practicing this breathwork for longer periods. I've just done the whole hour whilst scrolling and reading online. I'm feeling very chilled :) Hope this is useful for you and good health.
