Oh Jen I remember these videos so vividly you helped me through one of the worst times in my life I was waiting for a liver transplant and I was in probably one of the most difficult positions I have ever been in. I had been waiting for like three years at that point and I got one the following year by the way but I just looked forward so much to these videos it got me through my time thank you Jen.
It is nice to go back and see how much you changed and see how you switched out some things you have stream lined the prep. You still have an easy going way about you, I like how you bring us along with you. You are like a big sister.❤
Dear Jen, no apologies necessary! I was so happy to see you post and really enjoyed the video. As for that person that said those nasty things to you, they were probably bullied as a kid and want nothing more than to take someone down with them. Or, perhaps, they get some sort of sick joy out of making another human being feel small or insecure. No one is pulling their arm to watch your videos. The point that they are just to ridicule you, shows how pathetic a human being they are. If you my friend need to lose the wait because you want to, you can. You are beautiful! They will still be ugly.❤
Cheers to having interesting Vlogmas video ideas! It's not just the typical follow along with me during my day, which are fine.. but your decorating and recipe book videos were such neat ideas!
All these years later, it’s still the chopping produce that gets me every time! Hehe It’s instant relaxation and all is right in the world. Too funny! Glad you’re still going strong and you have inspired so many of us!:)
I remember seeing your belly in this video and thinking "she looks like me!" It made me stick around! I found your channel before getting pregnant and watching you took away a lot of the anxiety I had about being a working mom. It was nice seeing someone my age making it happen, but in a real way. I'm so grateful for you!
Love that you aren't playing 🐔 and taking this head on! So long as the chicken isn't rotten and cooked thoroughly, it should be fine. Also, no need to apologize! The fact that you're able to put this content out so quickly is awesome. We appreciate all you're doing. ♥🌲
Great video Jen. I think meal prep is good even if your not working. It makes cooking easier and saves time. Loving Vlogmas. Looking forward to your next video. I have learned so much from watching you. Thanks Jen for all you do.❤️
I think this was the first video I watched from you. I had searched "keto." And I didn't realize the music...lol. until now. I miss your closet beer chats.
Way back when I started watching you I was a stay at home mom. I’m on year 4 back to teaching special education as a mom! I loved your videos then and still do now! ❤
How fun is this 😁 I found you a bit later.. But I so love your honesty and humor.. you're a rockstar ✨️ Also , I most always have a glass of wine whilst cooking dinner 🥂 Love the musical interludes 😅
We have salads, basically, every day for the past 10 years and I’m on the vegetable wash team. I cut up the same 3 heads of romaine like you do and I have a specific airtight container. I line the bottom with a paper towel, put 1/2 of the cut up lettuce, layer another towel, put rest of lettuce, and then top with another paper towel. I then store the container upside down in fridge. That way you are taking the “wettest” lettuce out first. That way it doesn’t sit on the wet paper towels or on the bottom very long. My lettuce stays very dry. Also, spinning it really well helps also. This method it gets crispier because it’s cold and dry. Just from years of experience. 😀. Love Jen’s videos!
I never wash my chicken for fear of spreading bacteria and the cooing temp is high enough to kill any bacteria left on the chicken. I remember those clear amber glass cookware by Anchor Hocking. Great video.❤️
Pretty sure it was called vision ware..not sure of the company that made it..I remember that I just had to purchase it..worst cookware..everything I cooked in it stuck
Your keto prep videos are what got me to subscribe. I loved your videos back then! Even just watching you chop everything was inspiring. I believe that glass cookware was called Vision cookware. My mom had some in the same color. I still have and use the systema snack boxes because you recommended them. I can’t believe it’s been 6 years!! As a working mom I appreciate your videos. You are one of my favorite UA-camrs! 🥰
@CindyKinney I'm doing okay, a lot going on. I need surgery to fix the fistulas that are connected from my bladder to my intestine. We found out last night that my hubby was finally approved for total shoulder replacement surgery. My youngest grandson gets tested next week for Autism. My hubbys cousin was told he needs a kidney transplant and goes next week for an evaluation. How are you, friend?!
I only found you a few years ago. I love your videos because you are so real! Wish you were around in my younger years, keep up the Great work especially for all moms out there! Love You!
That was the first vlog of yours that i have ever seen! I just started keto and was looking for meal prep tips. I grew up watching my mom wash her chicken! I wash mine, depending on where i get it from! im still keto and still enjoy your vlogs!
My Moroccan relatives put salt and other brines on chicken, but I never do anything but take it out of the plastic wrapped container. I read somewhere if you wash your chicken you can spread E. coli around your kitchen.
N Nothing like going back in time to relive a memory of something in your life that makes you smile. Made me smile. How cool. I enjoyed that. Enjoyed you enjoying the music. As always thank you for sharing, take care, and see you soon! Had to laugh about the glass of beer on the counter. Thought everyone cooked that way after a days work. Beer, wine, and barefoot of course.
Telling us about that comment you got about your belly! Why are people so mean?! I have noticed this a lot this year and it saddens me so much! I just cant seem to wrap my head around it! Why do they feel entitled to do that? Im so sorry you have to hear such hateful words. I thi k your fans far outweigh the haters Jen! Take heart!
I enjoyed the first video as well as this video. You were talking about your speech. You have matured and gained confidence and the music is the music of the times I think everyone was using that. Happy Holidays, I'm really glad to see you back, I've missed you. Ann North Carolina USA
I call it Woo Sauce. 😂 I hope the engagement from that one little obscure moment had you laughing all the way to the bank. I was keto in those days too. At 61, I am finally healing my relationship with food. Compounded semaglutide and my recent retirement from nursing help!
Great ideas that stand up six years later! I recently lost 35 pounds, but I shattered my kneecap and don’t feel well, so I don’t recommend that diet plan, lol! 😬
You obviously are more comfortable on camera now, and your voice sounds " younger" then. I think I watched this video a few years ago when I was trying to navigate Keto. Now I prioritize lean protein and vegetables. Yesterday, I made pork tenderloin tacos with small low-carb tortillas, cilantro, guac and pomegranate seeds with enough leftover for 2 more quick meals.
I've never washed my meat, unless the recipe says to. Which some of those meal prep services do say to do. Otherwise, I can't be assed. Lol I never noticed your stomach in this video. It took you pointing it out for me to notice. Lol 🤷🏻♀️ I was busy watching your hands and what you were doing. Not the background. Never noticed your beer either. 🤣 You're still my favorite yter. I go back to your weekend preps that are over 30 mns when I need cleaning company. Lol My favorite of your keto videos is the one where you did the garlicky/cream cheese beef and broccoli meal. Great video Jenn! I enjoyed my leftover meatloaf dinner while I watched this. 😎
I love your videos and you nailed it with the working mom thing. Watching (and listening) to what I relate to.
The purple-ish cookware is the good Pyrex and / or Corning. Pyrex has changed their glass material which is why it’s more likely to break now.
Loved watching you when each new piece of music comes up!!
No worries, happy to see you! ❤
This was a really creative idea - reacting to a video from years ago. :)
Glad you liked it!
I believe Pyrex and Corning made glass pots. We had the amber/ brown set in the 80s.
Pretty sure it was vision ware...I remember that I just had to but it..everything I cooked in it stuck..they were awlful

Do you have a chopping tutorial? It is both soothing and anxiety-inducing to watch you chop veggies.
She posted a video years ago on how to cut certain fruits and vegetables.
