As a another way to break armour: the flash grenade can stun most bosses in just 2 hits and stuns all normals instantly. There is a support gem that gives armour break when you stun. You can reduce the flash granade to 3sec cooldown with just one support and shoot 4 at once.
@@brodieb5066 I think poison only lasts a short time. The cloud should re apply pioson constantly. Specialy with the mod that lets you apply another stack of poison but reduces it's duration.
I’m definitely starting with a Rapid Shot Gemling Legionnaire at start. Being able to use pretty much any skill gem with only one Attribute means you can Dex stack and get a ton of AS from the two Falcon Notables. Plus you could run Fire wall on a quick swap wand to add a ton of flat fire dmg to the rapid shot. Throw on some chain for clearing mobs and you got a great setup 👍
for the notable on the Tree Exposed Wounds: 32% increased chance to inflict Ailments Break 30% increased Armour on enemies affected by Ailments Can we essentially use other skills that applies ailments (Lets say Galvanic Shards for shock for instance) then we can break their armour? Also your video are pretty good to watch in terms of building a Cluster Grenade build, I've wanted to try out a Lightning-Fire variation of Cluster Grenades but unfortunately there isn't really much information of the skills I wanted to play but going phys early on to potentially endgame based on this video seems really good.

We just had a new tool released to fit in gems so I'll be sharing that soon :) Rough idea I have now, but much more in the next video as I cook more: flash grenade + overpower + aoe + reduced cooldown + devastate + added lightning + shock chance (?) + stormfire (?) explosive grenade + lmp + less duration + mana leech(?) + blind (?) + hourglass (?) armour piercing rounds + chain/pierce (?) + increased armour break + increased reload speed (?) + splinter + life leech + break posture (?) high velocity rounds + brutality + exploit weakness + immolate (confirm can ignite enemies with cluster) + ranged combat + autoreload (?) + dazing (?) cluster + empowered damage + execute + concentrated + added fire + close combat (TBC)
The small passive on the armour break cluster is 20% increased damage to enemies with broken armour. Combined with the 60% notable its 100% increase total dmg.
Very good reasons to go phys. If you do end up messing with ignite later on you will probably want to run a weaponswapping build though since both the strongest attack in the game and the strongest buff belongs to melee (Hammer of the gods and Infernal cry). In spite of those skills being "warrior themed" I think the witchhunter might just be the most powerful class for it given we'd only need to deal with about 2/3rds of the actual health of the boss due to half of our ascendancy and having a powerful "%more" buff to do it from the other half (might need some setup in case the initial impression of "decimating strike" actually removing concentration is incorrect)

What do you think about the revealed ascendancies? I am thinking about going armor breaking warbringer crossbow with weapon swapping to two handed mace etc. Is this too convoluted?
ranged to melee does sound a little more complex, but definitely possible! I've heard people talking about weapon swap to a shield magma barrier and stuff so it's pretty interesting. I've only explored between deadeye/witchhunter/gemling. I think witchhunter is more of a nobrainer/safe choice for me, just remove their life and kill monsters quicker.

Deadeye looks amazing with the frenzy charge ideas with rain of arrows + thrilling chase ascendency (poe2db.tw/us/Ascendancy_class#Ascendancy) as well with a phys variant. Another crazy looking build I was taking a look at.

Most definitely!! There are other archetypes within the crossbow realm with cold, fire or lightning and even ballistas which we've not seen any numbers on yet. Outside of crossbow, the possibilities are endless as we talk about other weapon types on the witchhunter. There's too much sporadic information to work with and I just dove right into crossbows for my analysis for a starting point and the physical archetype stood out to me the most. I can't wait, let's have a blast at launch :)
It's all up in the air now as we can't say for certain, but in my opinion, it would make no sense if they don't benefit from the 0 armour they are consuming. If it doesn't work, then you just put exploit armour on a non-phys skill with elemental curses/exposure and penentraion as the only viable usage which would be hilarious.
I honestly think decimating strike might end up being bait. Until we know the odds of rolling a 30% damage hit on a single target, it will only really be good in large enemy packs where you’re shotgunning and have higher odds of a good damage roll to trigger.
yea you need to pick imo a very week culling strike node first aswell. I think no mercy and witchbane looks better. Also the explosions and sorcery ward looks really good.
I personally have not tried it out yet but path of exile 2 does reward using weapon swaps and skill combinations and not using this would mean missing out on alot of damage bonuses. We'll have to wait for launch to see what's possible and if 1-2 button builds are possible as I've theorycrafted 3-5 buttons right now.
we cannot say anything for sure, game isn't even out yet. and i'm sure that in typical poe fashion, reload speed/weapon swap speed will be so high late game that you can barely feel it.

My idea was Gas grenade with corrosion support to keep the armour break continous, while shooting high velocity ammo.
Can also add chance to poision with corrosion on any skill for armour break

I rethought it out, I think flash grenade + devastate armour breaks, then cluster + HVR will destroy everything. More in my latest video!

Damnnn, same idea. For me this will depend on the power of iron grip support gem. Personally, f it's 10% per 5 str, it's a immediate take for me.

It's just random between 5-30%, averaging at 17.5%. That's effectively around 21% more dmg on average with the possibility to high/low roll.
It's not realy damage, it can't be resisted. So it's more like enemies have -17.5% less health.
inverting res doesnt exist cause monster cannot go below 0% res, not sure about player res but maybe same for players too
Player res goes -10% per finished act. Though even if -10% is shown on the character sheet the damage modifier might be considered 0
The blurr is really jarring
Keep in mind that 100% converted dmg not gonna dip the dmg what is converted from.
