Tips from some one starting out in poe as well. Make sure to pay attention to the negatives of support gems and if you feel like your not doing enough damage sometimes all it takes is playing around and messing with your support gems and you can double or triple your dps
The work you put into your editing is so appreciated. Your BG3 guides were incredible, and I haven’t found anyone else that puts these together as creatively and polished as you do. To top it off, your builds and info are also top tier. Excited to see you’re gonna be covering POE.

This is my issue with my monk. I’m level 28 and using a level 11 staff. I’ve blown so many orbs on staffs with a good base to only get complete garbage mods on it. A little frustrating and essentially blocking my progression. Outside of that, I’m enjoying the game a lot.
I got an insane staff at like lvl 5… 68% spell power, + 2 levels on all lightning skills… plus a couple other things I think some crit chance and casting speed… level 32 now still using a lvl 5 staff kek
I had no idea identified gear sold for more than unidentified, and the ctrl+click thing to identify all is amazing. This video is amazing. Ty for the knowledge.
You can also set your skills to only proc with each particular weapon. So if you have a 2nd weapon that utilizes fire nodes, you can make it to where all your fire skills automatically are used with that weapon. Your character will switch on the fly without you having to change the button to switch weapons Under the skills tab, click the little arrow next to where it shows the DPS. On the little screen that pops up, at the bottom it will specify weapon set 1 or 2 and you can toggle them on or off for each particular skill I HIGHLY recommend setting up a 2nd weapon for EVERY class you might play. You can REALLY specialize your builds with the weapon set skill points and get SO much more bang for you buck with those 24 skill points…… I mean that’s why they are there and that’s why there is such a limited number of them. They can absolutely step your build up to the next level
As a noob I think my problem has been not checking gear at the vendors or keeping gear too long that I think is good. I'll see someone with pretty much the same build just destroy a boss that I struggled on.
I recommend test and try yourself, the character you make is much more fun in the end because you know it is shaped by you not someone else....me myself never use other recommended characters i want to search myself but not all of people like me i understand that
Sell blues, disenchant yellows. Easy peasy. Also, you should be salvaging gear that has + to quality. If its a weapon, youll get whetstones which increases the stats of your weapon and armor youll get armor scraps which will increase the stats of your armor.

Depending on item: To upgrade grey items = orb of transmutation. To upgrade a blue item w one stat is orb of augmentation. To get a blue item w 2 stats to yellow = regal orb. To get yellow item w 2 stats = exalted orb. And I forget which it is to make an item corrupted, but, this is the basic premise from what I understand being a newer player. Note that the above items mentioned will randomize what modifier you get on the item used. If i am wrong on the above, someone please correct. Merry Christmas (2024) everyone!
Very confusing aspect for me from all these guides are "Use orbs to upgrade your gear" and "Dont touch your orbs because they are currency end game and nothing you use your orbs for during the playthrough compares to their value endgame" so - I would love to see the though process to actually nailing this, as right now it seems like two sides of a fence.
Crafting isn’t really “crafting” in this game. It’s more like “rolling.” The market kind of sucks right now. It’s over-inflated and a lot of people don’t reply. For starter weapons and chest pieces, the market is okay, but usually it’s best to use your currency on jewelry if you’re crafting (from my own experience). Edit to add, definitely save divs, but regal and exalts can prove useful for the jewelry and maybe an armor with 5 good stats.
Use your exalts to trade with. Don't use them to upgrade rares. With one exalt you can get 3 stats you need from trading or one stat that sucks by rolling.
I used mine all through the campaign. Except exalts. Once I hit endgame my currency started climbing. So the people that say don't use them. I wouldn't listen to them all to much.
Like any currency you have to weight buying gear while leveling or relying on drops. Most playthrough you will use your upgrade materials. Personally I'm still going through the campaign and I'm having a serious or doubt while leveling. They need to adjust drops for leveling.
Hi, I would like to give you some advice for a next video since I hear a lot of people complaining about Play drop, a really useful statistic that a lot of people are not considering, eh, the % rarity drop that different objects have, including rings, helmets and so on. I managed to raise this % to 50% and the difference was ABYSMAL. In just 2 runs I got a whopping 2 uniques and six exalted orbs, so I tell you that you should make a video about it.
I'm playing a sorc. I get at level 6 an ice staff giving +2 to all ice skills. It has level 3 ice attack. I'm still using it at 16 and the +2 ice skills is the powerful reason why. The basic attack suucks now though so I have no option for an alternative new one that doesn't drop my other skills massively. It's a tough call to make and I can't improve the level of the skill on the staff itself which is a shame.
1 Don't play mele. 2 Don't rely in armor or evasion as main defense tool. 3 Don't rely on block (both passive nor active) as main defense tool. 4 Abuse ranged attacks. 5 Abuse the broken Energy Shield mechanics. If your class starts far away from energy shiled nodes just reroll your class.

For the required Stat part.. That doesn't work with gear. Only weapons. With gear, if you remove the stat requirement after putting it on, you don't get bonuses from that gear anymore.

Is it possible to reset the map on the console as well? How to see all skills on ps5?
press square to see all skills and not just recommended.
As for resetting maps, just hold X before the "final" tap that take you into the dungeon, and there will be options to do so.
i would take all the blue gear if my inventory wouldnt be full after 5 peaces and i need to go back every fcking 3 minutes
FLASKS = Get the suffis "gains X charges per second" it can take time t get it on the flaks but for those boss fights. so worth it. HF SS Exiles :) x
What does manually resetting instances do, that isnt done by travelling there through a waypoint?
For some reason i have decided a good weapon, rings and boots are all i need.. i gotta start paying attention to the rest of my armor.
Thank you👍
