Maybe my favourite little detail is that Gerbo holds the unnecessarily lengthy ransom note with all his arms, meaning he was just sitting cutely on his little round tuchus the whole time. I also solemnly hope we get to see more insight into the man, the mystery, Gradient Joe himself. What a deeply intricate character he is.

I adore burning our leaders to an absolute crisp as an audience cheers the name of our new great overlord in absolute glee, all hail the leviathan commonly known as bugbo!
as an animation student i geniunely aspire to create something as entertaining as this. the story, the dialogues, the character design. Its geniunely so so good
11:14 this part is just gold Bugbo saying his ordinary line " Togetherness makes anything effortless " while the wrecking ball just destroys the lair and you cant even hear bugbos words. Makes me laugh everytime
I like how Hoppo’s roles in this have gradually become stranger. First she shows up late, then she takes away the Mayor’s bones, and now she’s fighting on the battlefield? Also, shame the sudden wrecking ball implies we won’t get to see T.S. again. I loved his villainous nature.
So after watching this episode, I noticed that when Thomas Flyswatter was telling his origin story, the part where he claimed he had fallen onto the conveyor belt, you could see that he actually climbed on there, laid still on his back, and did not attempt to press the obvious stop conveyor belt button. I don't know what this means but I'm think that he did this to himself on purpose in a way.
It can only mean one thing: He is a masochist. Also what did Bugbo have to do with it? He didn't create or own the factory... Thomas Flyswatter just decided to hate him for no reason.
I have this theory that Thomas actually hated Bugbo way before the incident for whatrver reason, and thought going into the machine could give him some superpower to overtake the bug.
I think my favorite joke of this video is when he says he tripped and fell and couldn't get off but in reality he just lied there completely willingly.
Somebody’s probably said this already but during flyswatter’s backstory at 8:44 it looks like he climbed onto the conveyer belt and purposefully chose not to hit the stop button despite what he was saying. that was really well done

Thomas Flyswatter reminds me a lot of Dr. Strangeglove from Moshi Monsters. They both wear blue, both hate a species because of an incident involving their bodies (for Thomas, it was being turned into a flyswatter, and for Strangeglove, it was getting his hand bitten off by a Musky Husky, causing him to replace it with a glove), both are comical and incompetent villains, both originated from the Internet, and the resemblance between them is incredibly uncanny too…
The abrupt cut at 4:39 made me laugh way more than it should have. Something about the aesthetic and humor of this series unlocks a very obscure part of brain, I love it.
Something I thought of was the possibility of Bugbo rewriting him to be a flyswatter for whatever reason, and rewriting his memories of the event… but Thomas still has a vendetta against Bugbo, he knows he had something to do with it, he just doesn’t remember what. But I did just find this today, so I don’t know.
The fact that bugbo casually teleported the flyswatter guy into the bindings and then gmod style flew up to gerbo and gradient joe is the most terrifying thing ever
8:03 Bugbo really is a force to be reckoned with, he almost died and he just acts like a random person in the crowd that got chosen to be on the magic show
I love how after Bugbo’s spiel about how based it is to have friends, when Gerbo and Joe do eventually show up he calls Gerbo “Spider”. Like…Bugbro..did you forget his name for a minute or something? I also like to think that since Bugbo could have freed himself at anytime, the only reason he didn’t free himself sooner was so he could rub it in the flyswatter guys face that he had friends and they didn’t. (In all seriousness though, y’all really kicked it up like 5 notches for this episode. 11:36 minutes Mr. Silly? Goodness gracious me! That whole segment with the “Bugbo come home” song was unnironically very well made. The little call backs to the last two episodes with inepta and the clowns circus in the background were sweet too. Bravvyy did an awesome fucking job voicing the guy whose name I forget as well, his tinny evil nerd voice just fit the character perfectly. He sounds like a 80s SheRa villain and I mean that in the best way possible. Goofiest goobers all of you ⭐️.)
After rewatching the episode for the billionth time I just noticed that when the guy who’s name I forget is talking about his backstory he says “I want to make him and all bugs like him pay” …does this imply there’s at least more than one reality warping bug in the Bugbo cinematic universe? He didn’t seem phased when Bugbo just morphed out of his imprisonment so idk.
I’m pretty sure when Bugbo called Gerbo spider it was used as a friendly nickname. Cause he’s a spider. Or Bugbo actually just forgot Gerbo’s name he’s that kind of guy
I just noticed Bugbo only freed himself when Gerbo said he had a plan 💀 he'd rather warp through time and space than let Gerbo actually feel good about doing something for once. He does not let him have ANYTHING. give my man his star back, he deserved it (so did Joe but bugbo just ignored him lol)
I have SOOO much to say about this. 1. The picture that popped-up (1:53) leaves so many questions in my head, like what is the answer behind it? And why has anyone in the comments barely talk about it? 2. Looks like that farmer ant took "power plant" too seriously. (2:33) 3. It's interesting to know that the civilians fear Bugbo's missing poster, either because they fear the appearance of the poster, or that they're aware of the terrifying power he holds and they're trying to avoid it. It could be most likely that the latter is true. (2:43) 4. It's quite funny, yet terrifying that Bugbo sounded a little spooked by the threat from the mysterious figure, even though Bugbo knows that he could erase the hooded figure out of existence in the blink of an eye. (4:38) 5. Y'know, the Red Brother (5:02) is my favorite character now. He just: > Interrupts the conversation with an amazing introduction and runs full-speed towards the two > Gives the two a useful item > Only explains what said useful item could do > Refuses to elaborate any further > Leaves by materializing out of reality Now that's what makes a character great. I REALLY HOPE he'll appear in future episodes. 6. I like how says Thomas Flyswatter says he "returned" (7:35) and immediately considers himself Bugbo's arch-nemesis (7:48), even though this is his debut episode and Bugbo clearly said he never met him. 7. Wait, Bugbo's a fly? (8:05) 8. Yeah, "tripped and fell". (8:47) 9. How did- (9:05) 10. Bugbo didn't even- (9:10) nevermind.. 11. Those were some *smooth moves,* Bugbo. (9:55) 12. See what I mean? (10:14) 13. Thomas, I don't see why you're exactly trying to reason with him, since you clearly.. abducted and planned to kill him. (10:15) 14. I'd like to acknowledge that Hoppo was the one who was controlling the wrecking ball that destroyed Thomas Flyswatter's lair. (11:14) And 15. He also might have been the one who created Wrecking Ball Day. (1:08) But anyways..I'm really enjoying this web series and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next! Tbh, it gives me those nostalgic 2004 vibes with the video's crispy quality and Newgrounds nature. But yet it gives me that creepy vibe, like something's off even though it seems normal. It fits right into the nostalgia horror category. But anyways ben, keep it up!
I love how Thomas flyswatters backstory had nothing to do with bugbo doing bad things to him, which implies that Thomas just really hates bugbo despite him doing nothing. Edit: *THIS IS THE MOST LIKES I HAVE GOTTEN-*

I love the Gerbo representation this episode had, it was really cool to see characters like Gerbo and Gradient Joe interact one on one more. I love how much more unhinged each episode gets too involving jokes and the story. This episode might even have just a tiny bit of lore considering it was never explained why Thomas hates Bugbo so much, but thats probably just for the funny… Or is it? Hopefully next episode we can see a bit more of Hoppo after she comes back from the bug war.

I love how Bugbo seems so casual and unbothered while in that kind of situation, I especially love it how he says "Oh my," so calmly. I hope another one of these are made!!
The way Thomas was acting while bugbo and the others were walking away makes me think he’s some guy who’s just obsessed with Bugbo and doesn’t actually hate him
The way bugbo just says "this is puzzling to say the least" later being bugnapped and litterally being stuck in a cage and flying in a helicopter that could fall at any moment will always be my favorite part of this
Red brother: - appears out of nowhere - gives blue mushroom with ladder, snake and grappling hook - refuses to elaborate - leaves Truly the best bugbo character
I adore the red brother. Everything from his animation to his dialogue is utterly fucking insane and I love it. Like he just evaporated??? I wish I could do that
I just imagined that all of this, this episode that had NOTHING to do with letters, is just all an introduction to the letter "A" and I have been in a laughing fit for the last 3 minutes
I must once again emphasize what makes this one of the greatest web series of all time and an absolute inspiration to me. I've waited long for this episode and it has delivered. This is such an extremely unique series that I've hardly ever seen anything like it. What struck me within the first few minutes of finding it as another analog horror quickly presented itself as something much more unique and interesting (not to mention you've elaborated that it isn't horror but more of a dark/absurdist comedy which I will speak on later). From what I can tell, these is meant to feel like 2000s/2010s UA-cam gameplay videos of flash games. But the existence of these games makes no sense. The thing I keep debating in my head is, "were they intended for kids or adults?" After all, the themes and gameplay seem very childish. Teaching basic lessons with the only gameplay consisting of "What Would Gradient Joe Do" options. But the absurd outcomes, the completely unexplainable occurrences that I'd never imagine in the most intense fever dream or LSD trip ever, make it feel like an edgy adult/teen game. All the while it manages not to be horror but rather a comedy. I believer everyone who sees it as horror is literally so stunned at the unmatchable absurdism that they mistake it as horror. Yet the complete randomness never comes close to too much. It feels deeply unnatural yet perfectly natural at the same time. And another wonderful note the randomness hits is unpredictability. So many things fall into the trap of being predictable. The audience can see everything from miles away and it sucks. But not once in any Bugbo episode have I ever, EVER even vaguely predicted a single thing. Everything denies expectedness so effectively it seems impossible. And last of all for today, authenticity. Rarely does anything match this level of authenticity. The low quality. The animation. _Unregistered HyperCam 2._ Yeah it all sounds generic but this genuinely pulls it off so well it's unbelievable. And then not to even mention the use of questionable moral lessons. The only other series I've ever seen do this is DHMIS (another one of the greatest series of all time) and it's always magnificent. And all it is is the use of weird and obviously wrong moral lessons. Seems so easy yet no one ever does it. And it's used so perfectly. I'm not even trying to make Bugbo out as great art or something. It's just so fun, and so absolutely genius, everyone needs to take an example I'm sure I'll get responses saying "it's just a silly comedy series" but I'm being genuine; it's _that_ great to me. Keep making Bugbo dude, this is my kind of stuff 😂
thank you so much!! these videos arent meant to be reciorded footage of GAMES, theyre just flash animation with a built-in play and replay button like old flash animations used to have.

So after watching this episode, I noticed that when Thomas Flyswatter was telling his origin story, the part where he claimed he had fallen onto the conveyor belt, you could see that he actually climbed on there, laid still on his back, and did not attempt to press the obvious stop conveyor belt button. *DID SOMEONE SAY THE RED BROTHER?*
Woah!
Who are YOU?
I have SOOO much to say about this.
1. The picture that popped-up (1:53) leaves so many questions in my head, like what is the answer behind it? And why has anyone in the comments barely talk about it?
2. Looks like that farmer ant took "power plant" too seriously. (2:33)
3. It's interesting to know that the civilians fear Bugbo's missing poster, either because they fear the appearance of the poster, or that they're aware of the terrifying power he holds and they're trying to avoid it. It could be most likely that the latter is true. (2:43)
4. It's quite funny, yet terrifying that Bugbo sounded a little spooked by the threat from the mysterious figure, even though Bugbo knows that he could erase the hooded figure out of existence in the blink of an eye. (4:38)
5. Y'know, the Red Brother (5:02) is my favorite character now. He just:
> Interrupts the conversation with an amazing introduction and runs full-speed towards the two
> Gives the two a useful item
> Only explains what said useful item could do
> Refuses to elaborate any further
> Leaves by materializing out of reality
Now that's what makes a character great.
8. Yeah, "tripped and fell". (8:47)
9. How did- (9:05)
10. Bugbo didn't even- (9:10) nevermind..
11. Those were some *smooth moves,* Bugbo. (9:55)
12. See what I mean? (10:14)
13. Thomas, I don't see why you're exactly trying to reason with him, since you clearly.. abducted and planned to kill him. (10:15)
14. I'd like to acknowledge that Hoppo was the one who was controlling the wrecking ball that destroyed Thomas Flyswatter's lair. (11:14)
And 15. He also might have been the one who created Wrecking Ball Day. (1:08)
But anyways..I'm really enjoying this web series and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next! Tbh, it gives me those nostalgic 2004 vibes with the video's crispy quality and Newgrounds nature. But yet it gives me that creepy vibe, like something's off even though it seems normal.
It's just so fun, and so absolutely genius, everyone needs to take an example
I'm sure I'll get responses saying "it's just a silly comedy series" but I'm being genuine; it's _that_ great to me. Keep making Bugbo dude, this is my kind of stuff 😂
thank you so much!! these videos arent meant to be reciorded footage of GAMES, theyre just flash animation with a built-in play and replay button like old flash animations used to have.
