Born 1960 I grew up with only small black and white tv, when fireplaces burned real wood and telephones had dials, lol, I love charlie chan, his movies are super comforting for me, the older I get the more they mean to me. Thank you.
😂me too
You are more than welcome!
I have always liked Charlie Chan!
Glad you like it!
I thought I'd seen ALL the Charlie Chan movies but hadn't seen Charlie in Honolulu. Thanks!
sure Sandra
Familyloved the Chan series. Glad to see the series back on UA-cam. At oe point due to being politically incorrect the only way to see Charlie Chan was through purchase of DVDs. My family and I used to laugh and say evenif the part were played by an Anglo we'd love to see Charlie Chaves in LA series. Really, really like the double feature set up.
Thx Kathy, glad u enjoyed it.
I was born in 1960 and I grew up watching Charlie Chan with my mom and I still love watching him brings back nice memories

Me too. 1960. Sounds so long ago but I don't feel old at all. And def don't feel it😊
"Uncle Charlie" as Det Kelly !! And, loved the little homage to Boris Karloff as The Monster when Frankenstein is mentioned. One of my favorite Charlie Chan movies, as I love Oland and Luke as Father & Son Chan. Thanks!

Hello
It’s true about the retinas of Our eyes capturing the last image We see before dying, I remember learning that in high-school. Obviously merely looking into a dead-persons eyes would only allow Us to see “a twin image of Self” as ‘Charlie’ says here - but I remember being told that it’s possible to print-out the image on a retina, similarly to developing a camera’s film.
(I remember the example We were given was that of a beheaded Individuals’ retinal-image being developed - and the upside-down image that the eyes had last seen after the execution, I’m the seconds that the brain ceased to function.)
If this IS possible, I wonder why the police don’t use that in solving crimes; though I suppose the face of Ones’ Killer mayn’t be the last thing a Victim would see, it may be something insignificant like the floor or ceiling.)
Interesting idea Shelley
Out of interest I just checked to see what $300,000USF would be worth Today, as far as purchasing-power goes - accounting for inflation; it’s equivalent to almost 7million in Our current-day dollars.
…Whew!
Whoa. Thx for coming Shelley
