I’m having trouble sealing the water tube when joint the upper and lower gear housing. It keeps sucking air from this joint preventing the pump from pumping water properly. I’ve followed the manual procedure on how to do this, but I find it difficult to align the “dog leg” water tube with both halfs .Do you have any suggestions?
Change both rubber sealing ends and make sure the tube isn't cracked/split or has a pin hole in it. I change the tube and rubber ends on old units for peace of mind.
I cannot find that upper gear housing holder anywhere. Volvo Penta website doesn't even recognize the number. Do you have anymore info on this tool? Thank you
