What a great episode - lots of travel legs, lots of moorings and dockings, and at the risk of repeating myself a hundred times, that water is unreal. Not to mention how bizarre and cool it is to see sharks swimming under your swim platform! Definitely not a visual we have here in the Great Lakes. Oh, yeah …and LOTS of adorable shots of Ollie in this one. 💕 🐾
Wow! Your daughters are beautiful and so is all that scenery we missed! Thanks so much for sharing! We may have to try and go there next year lol. Thanks for your great videos and helpful info!!
Awww, Thank you guys so much! We just loved the Bahamas! We are definitely going back :) We can't make it this winter, but hopefully next winter we are taking her south again! :)
Your daughters are lovely. Kathleen may be the best First Mate in the Bahamas. She handled the locks and lines like a pro. Much respect and mild breezes.
I am loving the video's, I live right by where you stopped for the night at the Meramec inlet in St. Louis and I have a place in Gulf Shores so watching you guys in the OB area was so familiar. Great editing too!
Somehow, your arrival at Fairhope video showed up in my feed and naturally had to watch the previous episode to see what happened...now, have watched almost all to this point. We live in Pensacola and would have been great to share some bushwackers at Floribama.... Great job on this voyage, and you guys are doing a great job documenting it. Is there a link I missed listing the gear you are using? Drone shots are wonderful as well as the camera work and editing! If you do sail this way again next year, would love to meet up... Stay safe....storm brewing out there right now....
We are so happy you found us! We will definitely be back, so bushwackers at Florabama it IS! :) As for our gear, we use a GOPRO, our mobile phones and some free editing software. Thank you so much for joining us!
Im sure you loved your time with your daughters. Do you have any regrets about haulin a## and basically skipping the west of Florida? What intercoms are you using and how do you like them!
Thank you Matt! We had the best time with the girls! If we wouldn't have lost so much time in Orange Beach, our plan was to slow roll the coast. However, we have vacationed one the west coast a few times before, and really wanted to have more time in Bahamas. (We had never been before). We are planning to go back down and spend more time exploring where we missed. But, no regrets for this trip :) Thank you for watching!
I agree wardiwells is beautiful was there about 20 years ago aboard a37 tartan with friends there is a very old well there story has it that pirates used to hang out there hiding from the British man of wars thst patrolled the area the pirates would build fires on top of the island to lure inspecting merchant ships that in turn would be driven up on the rocks then looted
Thank you for sharing. We are in the planning/prepping stage and appreciate the first hand account. Maybe November 2025? 😉 Btw, are you two editing and adding the audio? Nicely done, regardless!!!
Thank you so much! We are planning to go again 2025! Maybe we will see you out there :) When we do the videos, sometimes we have to add new audio to explain more about the videos. Thank you for joining us!
Hello! Andromeda draws 42 inches, we try to avoid anything less than 6 foot water depth just to play it safe. The water in the Exumas was so clear, it was easy to avoid getting to shallow, both visually and with our depth sounder. Happy cruising to you guys! :) Thank you for joining us!
You have some beautiful daughters 😊
Aww, Thank you Jim! They are the best! :)

Thank you Kari! :) The sharks under the boat at all hours was pretty amazing for this Michigan Gal!

I heard it, fanny pack on our loop list.
Hahaha! It would have been SO handy! :) thank you for joining us!
When was this filmed? Now on 7/31 we have a tropical weather move toward the east coast. Just wandering when you moved north up the east coast.
Hello Davis! This was April 5th, 2024. We crossed our wake June 1st :) Thank you for watching !
Could you talk more about water depth. General cruising we draw 5.5 feet on a 60 hatteras

Sandals and sand are not friends. I hiked up to big Sable Lighthouse and back from the state park parking lot with sandals. Lesson learned. =/
Yes! And add in sharp rocks, and we learned very quickly lol. Thank you for joining us!
