- We are doing it all! From our mooring ball at Staniel Cay we will snorkel the Thunderball Grotto, chill on Sampson Cay sand bar, feed the pigs at Pig Beach and spend an afternoon with the iguanas on Iguana Beach. Its hard to believe all of this is in one spot!

Thanks for the vicarious visit to some familiar sailing grounds and all that great Bahamas scenery above and below the water. Those rainy days are meant for boat chores and to reset the clock to island time. I can't describe the pleasant memories theses video brings back. Don't know if it'd work on a power boat but on sailboats we used a riding sail to stabilize the ride at anchor in shifting winds.
So happy to hear this Dr. John! Rainy days are a blessing sometimes to just reset, and like you said, tackle boat chores!

How do you like the portable water maker? 14gph isn’t a lot of water. If you did it over again would you still choose the portable or go with a permanent solution? I’m going to add one to our boat but still on the fence between permanent and portable. Any feedback is appreciated! Love your videos! Keep up the good work.
If money wasn't an issue, we would have loved a permanent model. Ours worked fine for us, when our girls came to visit for 10 days in the Bahamas, we pushed it to the max. But for Bob and I, we never dropped below 3/4 of a tank. Thank you for joining us!

Hello James! We did not run the AC at night. We typically ran the generator each morning and night to cook, shower, cool off the boat. At the marinas were a different story lol
Did you have any problems from the hurricane?
We crossed our wake June 1st in Ludington Michigan. We got north of the hurricane zone in plenty of time thankfully. Thank you for joining us :)
