Great video with special interest concerning Cape May. We are blessed to have a family beach house on the bay side of Cape May in a cool little place called Town Bank! It’s right before the Cape May canal. Love your Sea Ray and enjoy finding your channel! Good luck w/ your Lions, Go Birds! 🦅
Didn't realize Delaware Bay was that big. Looked like a very peaceful day on the water.Being a handicapped 75 year old, I enjoy your postings very much. Give Ollie an extra treat for his successful shift as security. God bless and stay safe.
At this stage of your Loop journey "gethomeitis" has to be setting in a bit. Much closer to home, yet many more nautical miles to go. But there's gotta be many more ports of call to look forward to, some dog parks for Ollie, and some good dock side seafood shacks and rum bars for the crew.
To a native Delawarian anyone from below the canal is called lower slower. It's a much slower pace of life down there. Also referred to as the island. Man made but still. Also the canal is nicknamed the ditch by natives. The lighthouse is pronounced my maul. Several other lighthouses farther south. The flat top and 14 foot. All have good fishing. Blues, stripers, weekfish, fluke,
I'm so glad you were able to spend some time in Cape May. I used to work at South Jersey Marina in high school and in college. Spent my summer's there since I was six years old. It's a wonderful and special place. I'm thrilled you had a chance to enjoy it. A lot of other loopers I followed, never went into town.
We were stationed in Dover, DE. Longest assignment of dad's career. Trying to get back to Georgia any chance he got, but loved th fishing there. Couple trips took me on Delaware Bay. Think I'll stop in Lewes and cut across to Cape May, just to stop and see where I spent 6th - 1/2 way through 11th grade.
Sailed a 35’ Beneteau from Chesapeake City to Cape May in bad weather. Took us about 10 hours with lots of tacking back and forth against tide and wind. It was nice to get to Cape May at dinner time and warm up and get some great seafood.
5-🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟video as usual. Love these new adventures that you share. Outstanding videos. Thanks for sharing. Be well my friends!!!
Another interesting video from the bridge. Thank you for the ride and enjoy Cape May. GO LIONS !!!

The Lucky Bones restaurant, right across the street from where you were docked in the Cape May Marina, is really good.
Best mussels in South Jersey!

Not many other places on the west side of the bay to stop on the northern part.
