- Quick comparison between Vice City in Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Grand Theft Auto VI, using footage from the trailer.
Obviously these are not the same areas between games, but i've tried matching parts of the map with the same general vibe.
I used the NoClip website to record the slightly more tricky scenes like the intro. In-game Vice City footage was captured while using the SkyGFX mod that restores some of the PS2 effects and lighting to the PC version of the game.

Vice City was always my favourite - the aesthetic, the music, the characters. Surreal to see it back in current times and how much things have changed in terms of graphics and scope. Nuts.

Yeah I loved the 80s vibe from vice city. I would actually prefer gta 6 to be also set in the 80s but im still happy with what we got.

Props to Rockstar for actually using Vice City's map as a base. Obviously there'll be some changes but from the looks of it, they more or less upgraded the same portions of Vice City to RAGE engine standards, without changing the layout too much (which makes sense, since they're both based on Miami).
They Just used Miami as a base lol

In GTA SA, Mnt Chilliad is west of LS. Meanwhile, in GTA V it’s north. But, if you go north in GTA SA - there’s a whole another city to explore.
The shear scale of Gta 6 still amazes me, absolutely phenomenal game even though it's not even out yet.
I was waiting for someone to upload it, i haven´t played this game since i was in high school, but i recognized the beach and the streets where you could see the hotel Ocean View on the trailer, there should be more locations we just haven´t realized yet but we can compare, think you could make a Part 2!

gta 6 looks insane but the ps2 graphics have a unqiue style about them that I like for some reason.

@@franciscoOrellana29 bueno entonces el último motor gráfico de unreal engine 5 que su motor gráfico de Rock Star Games ya que del Motor gráfico es de los gráficos y ese trailer actual para mí hasta los fangame el tráiler saben hacer en los vídeos de UA-cam y hasta hicieron más realista el GTA V con mods para esto fue tanta espera de más de 10 años de esperar el tráiler decepcionante 😒
