  • This week we take a deep dive into uncovering how our philosophy on training has changed over the years and how that has impacted the evolution of our own training. We hope that by sharing this and our perspective it gives you the chance to reflect and freedom to enjoy your training in whichever direction you feel 'pulled'.

Love this conversation - well timed for me to find this going through a bit of an identity crisis at the moment 👍

Another super-thought-provoking chat guys. I've done a few different modalities in the 40 or so years that I've been training. Started with weights at 16, then went into martial arts and was a Tae Kwon-do black belt at 20. Circumstances got in the way and I switched to running and cycling in my 30s. My 40s were dominated by personal issues and I didn't do a lot of training until I discovered calisthenics at 48 and still going. Injury has shaped some of my training choices - lower back and achilles tear stopped me running, but I do what I enjoy for a few years and then re-assess priorities and change what I do. So all of what you have discussed here completely resonates with my own experiences. Oh and Jacko, love that room your in. Anything you want to tell us 🤔😁?
